What would you expect from someone's love life with an empty 7th house? 1) Single forever 2) Marries several times Or 3) Makes no difference as it depends on others parts of the chart? IP: Logged |

When the 7th house is empty, look at the ruler of the sign on the 7th house cusp. For example, if the 7th house cusp is Sagittarius, look at Jupiter for more information. An empty 7th house does not mean there won't be marriage. At least, this is what I've read. IP: Logged |

Maybe it means that your focus in life may not be in partnership or relationship, but that doesn't mean you won't get married. You may not have too may specific characteristics requirements. Maybe it makes you easy-going in a relationship? I have 3 planets in 7th house - I have to find a partner that fulfils the planets and the ruler. IP: Logged |

Yes to all the above. An empty 7th suggests that the 7th house issues are not of importance to the native. The ruler of the 7th position is where the attention of the 7th issues will go. Ruler of 7th in 3rd may suggest going into business with the siblings. IP: Logged |

In western astrology , the ruler of my 7th is in my 3rd. Ughhh if this is true, then I think you just gave me a clear picture into somethings. ( oh boy, be careful what you pray for) I prayed for something awhile back and I may have gotten it. Time will tell : IP: Logged |

I have an empty 7th house. I think it influences my personality through my independent nature and with me being totally fine as a single lady. I never felt I needed someone to complete me like heavy 7th house people tend to. However, my 7th house is in Libra, but I still don't have a need to be in a relationship. I was never the boy-crazy type either. My motto is if it happens it happens. I would rather not force myself into anything, as I have other priorities I'm fixated on at the moment.IP: Logged |

Same here but mine is Cancer. No need for further explanations, you've said it all. ------------------ Sun in Virgo Moon in Scorpio Venus in Scorpio Jupiter in Scorpio Pluto in Scorpio MC in Scorpio NN in Scorpio ASC in Capricorn IP: Logged |

3. Makes no difference - dependent on the other areas of chart. I have an empty 7th house. Capricorn. My Saturn is conjunct Venus and Mars in the 11th-12 house cusp. I have been married once, for many years. Divorced now and in a relationship. I enjoy being in exclusive relationships...they are important to me. I never had a difficult time forming relationships with others. I like my alone time but thrive when I am with my lover. Guess my point is just because the house is empty doesn't necessarily mean you are destined to be alone or do not desire a relationship with another. A planet there will color the natives outlook on their relationships overall I would think. IP: Logged |

Choice #3 is closest to the truth. As llewsacm stated, it is not true that someone whose birth chart shows no planets in the 7th house means they place no importance upon relationships. That over-reaches with the meaning and importance of houses. A person with no planets in the 7th, but with Venus exactly conjunct or parallel the DC (but in the 6th or another house) places no importance upon relationships? That is the most obvious example demonstrating the possible exceptions. Opposition aspects hold relational dynamics and potential. 5th house factors as well. Moon opposite/contra-parallel Asc also. ------------------ The Declinations Guy -Expert Rectification Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

I have en empty 7th house and my 7th house ruler is the Moon, which is in the first house. Any idea on what this means?Right now, I'm independent and I feel I can be happy single or married. However, sometimes I feel it would be nice to share the burdens of life with someone else. It does become exhausting handling everything on my own all of the time. IP: Logged |

I have my chart ruler, Venus, in my 7th house. I'm not in a relationship and don't care for being in one. I'm a MGTOW (men going their own way). IP: Logged |

I have an empty 7th house (Aries) with Vertex conjunct the Descendant. I have desired a partner since my youth. I have had many fated encounters but feel like I am being "saved" for the right person. I hope to marry 1 person for life and for love.Empty houses don't really mean that that house is not important for that person. According to Placidus, my 5th is also empty but in my marriage chart I have a mutual reception of 5th ruler in 7th and 7th ruler in 5th, confirming my belief that I will marry for love and romance. My 7th house is empty. I have Pisces (Neptune) on the DSC with Aries (Mars) as the co-ruler.Both Neptune and Mars are in my 4th house. Relationships have DEFINITELY been a huge area of my focus in my life despite the empty house. I have been in nothing but long-term relationships, generally back-to-back. I can't even say I've ever been truly "single" for any length of time, not since high school anyway (13 years ago). I don't know how my 7th house rulers in the 4th affect my relationships to be honest. Maybe the "attachment" in traditional Cancer style? I do see my partners as part of my life, not an enhancement, if that makes sense...like we are a joined unit and not two separate individuals. Tough to describe lol IP: Logged |

Hm interesting! This is what I have in my chart! I wonder if this will be true for my sister and I. She's still not sure of what she wanna do with her career whereas I'm very decided on what I love doing. Maybe I'm supposed to help her out... IP: Logged |

Beautiful_Light, are you going to tell me you're 18? You sound young as your statement was very idealistic, which is usually the norm for youth.I actually have my Sun Taurus in the 7th house. Am 39, and have always been single. So it seems 3) would be correct given what others have said. IP: Logged |

No, I'm not that young Have had a lot of experience with Uranus transitting my 7th, but I maintain my idealism thanks to Venus/Uranus/Neptune in my chart. I think it's good to have good expectations . IP: Logged |

I'd say I fit in the "single forever" category. Not all that much interested in relationships, dating, marriage, men, sex, I've pretty much lost all desire to do something in those areas. I'm not sure if it's because of the empty 7th house (in Sagittarius) because I've also got some other loners' aspects, but maybe it adds up to the whole single forever vibe, I don't know. Ever since I've learned about the ACs of people I know (parents, aunts and uncles, married cousins currently in their 30s and 40s), I've started to become very suspicious of astrology things written all over the Internet and even those in the books of supposedly famous astrologersthere are many layers to astrology and millions of exceptions and "unless" cases which can be applied; this is why I think vedic holds a lot more clearer answers as for an empty 7th house, I know people with this placement who have married at a normal age and are currently happy after years same applies for cases where people had scarier planets like saturn or uranus in their 7th Although in saturn cases they did actually get married at around 28, but it was with a person they have known for years and the engagement was also rather long until they got a secure job..the spouses are serious and responsible people with high ranked jobs, saturnian definitely with uranus too the marriage theme is definitely uranian if you may (long distance for one third a month) IP: Logged |
