Interesting how people find religion after they make their money.

Whats the difference between a pagan gathering and new age lecture? About $200 (Many variations of this exist. Another common one is "about 2 decimal points," meaning where a pagan pays $2 the new ager will pay $200.)

I just looked up some prices for lectures by Doreen Virtue, and holy crap! That's way more than $200!

Btw, I have a very vague memory about a scandal with Hay House, though I can't recall anything definite (it's almost more of a strong feeling), but given that I'd have almost certainly come across it between 2000 to 2003, it makes sense why I could barely recall it (and impressive that even an impression is left since I never had anything to do with them personally). I did find lots of complaints, including by many employees who describe a toxic work space. I could say more but that enters into the realm of speculation, and it is possible that I'm confusing them with another new age company.

That's funny, and if you saw the picture I posted, they refunded her $222 for one course. So your post was on point. she has charged a lot more, though.

I'm sorry that I delete so much, that you need to put a disclaimer.

Well those bad things can also insert informations such as "Nessus is BAD..BAD...BAD" into your head when you are interpreting charts you know.

It was a courtesy to all, by not quoting it and yet also saying that it was a response in case you deleted your post. I tend to be in a habit of quoting what I'm replying to, which some appreciate. I used to be on one board in which the board software would not allow you to post a reply without a quoted section, and the mods came down on those who tried to subvert it.

But many don't want to be quoted on LL because they delete. When people delete, they want the quoted part deleted. You delete a lot and I might not see it, which I figured you'd think was a snub when I just did not know you wanted me to unquote you, so I gave a very brief explanation why I wasn't quoting along with not quoting.

Of course if you had deleted then my post would make no sense and appear to be completely random if I didn't make it clear I was replying to the post above, something that has happened before on LL which is more reason for people to quote (but which many people on LL hate when that happens), or at least give an explanation in case the post vanishes so that people don't know why I posted what I did (especially when it gets bumped years later, which also frequently happens, sometimes completely at random with nothing new added).
