Lol, “Chill in bed”??????
What sort of magical sorcery is this? This is not a real thing

You are so funny! hahahahha

I have noticed that sun in virgo in combo with moon in aries is very restless, full of energy and interesting creatures, is an interesting combo. You know who has this?! PINK! I love PINK personally! When she sings I feel like fire is coming out of her mouth, I feel her power and in a very good cool way.

I want to thank you hypatia for shedding so much light on not only mars in Leo but the entirety of Leo in general. I had no idea just how much was going on behind the scenes. You’re a wonderful Mod and I’m glad to have your insight

Thank you for making me think of my mars in leo more in depth, I am still thinking about it actually and will continue to think about it.

I feel mars in leo when our ego gets hurt by another person it FILLS us with so much energy and motivation!! All of a sudden you have the motivation to do anything so to speak, it energizes us. Like "oh! its on now." I think since it falls in my 8th it activates the "sudo apt_I will destroy you now" mode in a sense, sounds scarier than it is though hahaha (programming joke).

I also feel I have this "I am going this way and you either better hop in or get out of my way" vibe at times. Mars in Leo in the 8th mode.

relaxing in bed is normal not something im just not inclined to do and when i get bored the last thing i want to do is **** that's boring or tedious (like cleaning)

something can be a mess and im not going to care unless theres company or something then i'll clean but it doesnt make me anxious

could be the heavy libra but im lazy as **** and if im not going to be lazy then i want to have fun and usually that means not getting much done

^^I do feel us Virgos have a tendency to like to throw things away and eliminate, usually we don't like to hoard, I think bc this means less stuff automatically which means less messiness and less things that need to be cleaned and organized and more simplicity which equals more freedom in my head.

yeah i look at having a lot of things as having more to clean and take care of, and it's just annoying

i dont organize things though, things im using are near places i use them and stay that way

organizing things is tedious and i dont like it so i dont do it

the more you have the less free you are though yeah, cant just pack up and go anywhere if youre attached to possessions

Exactly I am the same way, and I don't tend to put things on the same spot. Like if I am cleaning up, I am like "oh this works here" and just put it wherever feels right in the moment. I mean don't get me wrong there are things I put on the same spot but its not a big deal if I don't put it in the "designated" spot, I have a more "whatever works" approach , a more practical, flexible, intuitive approach I guess.

i put things where my fiancee tells me to put them lol that's about it, it's easier for us both that way

i cant organize things or think about where to put them because it feels too stressful to have to make decisions like that and it's easier to not

decisions and choices **** with me, more on minor **** than major ****

with major **** i can just sorta jump in and work on instinct, but ask me what movie i want to watch and give me options and you're looking at a decision that could last as long as whatever movie i maybe pick if i didnt get distracted and choose to do something else first

hahahaha I think maybe that is the combo of sun in virgo with venus in libra but you would think your moon in aries would kick in and just decide

My partner is more fixed in his ideas of were things should go and if I change it he gets stressed and angry.

i only make quick decisions if i have a strong gut feeling about something

when that happens i don't think, i just do

i also say the first thing that comes to mind and think more later if anyone says anything i think is worth listening to

but if i need to decide to read something or figure out what iwan t to watch or feel like eating or anything like that it's just not happens

i dont care where anything goes aside from anything im currently interested in or care about and then thats just what needs to be out and im good

my fiancee's told me if i wasnt with her and we didnt have birds i would be living with almost no furniture in an almost empty room with my guitar, some plants, and a couple books

which is true

but she likes things and decorating and **** like that so i dont care what she does with it if shes happy

my color vision isnt great anyway, every so often i find out something i thought was one color isnt so i figure it's best i dont bother

A lot of what you say is very true and does hit home. I think it’s only natural that a sign that puts its ego/pride in everything would be sensitive. Threats (real and perceived) to the ego are normally not taken lightly by any planet with Leo energy. The arrogance portion of it doesn’t really need any influences outside of Leo. If Leo is influencing a planet then the ego will be more present in that aspect.

Due to Leo being more level headed than for example Aries, they don’t need to lose their cool. There are things that Leo must find important before it will invest its energy. While it is a fire sign it still has its main goal of shining brightly and having fun with others.

I have definitely had issues with having to explain myself to people who I thought were lower than me. But I figured that was more linked with my mercury Leo. I don’t think the Leo energy intends to be conceited, I thinks it’s more of an “I know whats best ”or “wise old lion” type of issue. When you have people who clearly don’t know what they’re doing try to question the wise old lion then you get anger/attitude. This issue is a lot worse when the native is younger or doesn’t have much communication experience. But once they get some social experience under their belts then they can see that not everyone thinks the way they do. They may actually be right about the issue but they will be able to excursive more patience. I’ve had this issue at work, with family, elders, it takes work to let people see that my Leo energy is wiser and smarter than them

When it comes to Leo and grudges I think this depends on if they can not only express their grievances, but also satisfy their ego. If either one of those two things is not addressed then I believe the mars in Leo energy will hold on to the problem until it is resolved. I think this ties back to picking and choosing which conflicts Leo gets in to because they know they will be in it for the long haul. Why get into an issue for something that you may not care enough about to see to the end?

The perfectionist angle I like to think comes from the fact that Leo wants the finished product to be adored and admired. The less perfect the work is the more it is less likely to receive the attention that Leo wants. Because Leo is able to rally people behind them and they understand that a pride of lions gets better results, they can tend to use the delegation tactics to get them to their prize. I REALLY like that “mafia boss” analogy. Paints the perfect picture.

The withdrawing aspect probably is more of an “I can’t believe they had the nerve to do this to me and they still haven’t apologized for it. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE? THEY DON’T KNOW WHO THEYRE MESSING WITH” kind of mindset. Becoming Icey is just a way to let the inner fire build up. Got to let that ego get pumping.

I’ve also heard the expression that mars in Leo people are more Leo-like that actual sun Leo’s as well. But this could be because it is Leo that we are seeing as their main method of action while sun in Leo may have other influences for their method of action.

Lol heart and ego are the same to me. Both are linked by an unbreakable bond.

Wow, you just like me. Haha, which house is your Leo Mercury in?

I credit my Leo Mars with contributing to my sometimes undeniable Diva-ness. I'm not proud of this but I have to own it. On the positive side I do think I'm capable of doing things whether or not I actually have the ability to do it. More often than not I achieve beyond my 'potential'. I think it can be lazy too It squares Saturn) if I'm not in the mood nothing gets done.

Would it be more for women? Since Mars is supposed to show women preferences in a partner, but Mars in men is more about their actions.
Leo mars men would wanna make their partner shine?(hm, they appear too proud for it..)

Can you elaborate about gender differences?

I have Mars, Mercury, and Venus all in Leo and all in the 8th house. My Mars and Mercury are conjunct.

Hi Ami Anne. I haven’t been apart of this forum long but ive read lots of your old posts and I am a big fan. Thank you for all of the info you have brought to this site.

I do have a question about your opinion on Mars Leo wanting a partner that they can show off. I personally do like a well kept and groomed partner but im not particularly a fan of makeup and lots of jewelry. Is the preference for a Mars in Leo partner influenced by other planets like Saturn or pluto?

My mother had Mars conjunct Pluto in Leo. She was a hard worker, who actually put up with too much crap from people, but would roar on occasion. She had opinions, wasn't afraid to share them, and cut off people at times - but she was also there for those same people if they needed help.
