Or Saturn in the 7th House? Is it true that those with Venus square Saturn (tightly aspected) are deathly afraid of commitment? IP: Logged |

you already know this I would assume? . its venus aspecting saturn. aspect and house before sign edit: I missed the part where you asked about being scared of commitment. Depends on the chart. Saturn venus takes relationships very seriously to the point they won’t get into one just for funs sake, this is both regarding friendships and partnerships. They are afraid of failure maybe but not commitment, on the contrary. They need and want balance like libra. They “invest” fully in their relationships and they want the same amount back or atleast nearly same amount back. This is saturn-venus in general without other aspects included. I have venus trine saturn. IP: Logged |

It's me. I'm the venus square saturn native sweety To be clear; I'm fun as long as there's no romance involved. But once it is, I am a party pooper and also I'd run for my life lol (both uranus and saturn aspecting my venus) IP: Logged |

As long as there is no romance involved you sound like me. Yeah I’m the same way when things get too serious I get going lol. My Venus is aspected by Saturn and Uranus too. I thought you were actually talking about a party lol. IP: Logged |

Then its not your saturn, its most likely your uranus. Saturn usually does not quit that easily, much like scorpio (thats why saturnians and plutonians are so compatible), if its potential they will stand their ground IP: Logged |

Venus square Saturn can cause this as well. It can make it difficult for the person to actually love and feel worthy of love. I have this and this is one of the things I experience with this aspect. I’m Plutonic as well packed 8th house and still have issues in regards to commitment. I have Venus in the 8th house and I still feel this way. Yes sometimes I feel like I want that deep love. But then it’s like nope I want to be free. It seems like the aspects to my Venus overpower the feelings that come with having Venus in the 8th house. IP: Logged |

Ohh, I see. How close is the orb of your Saturn aspect? Does Venus-Square Saturn itself make someone a loner or anti-social? Or maybe just self-confused and work-focused, rather than investing all their energy in their social life, friends and family? IP: Logged |

You know how people get in relationships while still "figuring out" life, or trying to have their sh*t together? My saturn/venus square won't allow me to do that. I have this philosophy that I should reach my full potential, have it all figured out and have my sh*t together first...only then I can start a relationship. IP: Logged |

Right and about having kids too I don’t get how some women keep having kids but aren’t financially stable. People always rush into relationships like they can’t be alone. But they don’t have their stuff together I hate that. I always say I’m glad I’m not like other women who just have to be in a relationship. IP: Logged |

I would say I was a late bloomer in matter of love; everything was delayed. First date, first kiss and first time... All were experienced relatively later than my peers. In my younger years, I'd consider love as something unattainable. Something I'd only see in movies or read about in novels. In real life, I find exaggerated PDAs & love gestures CRINGE. So love was sort of a "blind spot" to me. I also have high standards and never have I compromised, and that explains the delayed love experiences and sometimes prolonged periods of playing "solo".
Also it can distort or restrict your love expression and flow. I'd act rude with someone I love or ignore them on purpose. This is a signature saturn square venus move. If this aspect to be acted out it would be Darcy being rude to Elizabeth in Pride & Prejudice while fancying her. It's the denial that stems from desiring something so much but also being aware of the responsibility that comes with it. IP: Logged |

As a Cap Venus 11th house here. I don't start a relationship until I've had all my sh*t together as someone said before. That's the problem of todays relationships: people start relationships because they don't want to be alone and all the problems come so easy. Life is much easier than we think, only people and their neuras make them so hard, relationship oriented I mean. IP: Logged |

I had a lot of Saturn aspects with my ex of 9 years. I ended up leaving him when he started talking about getting married and having a family. I think the only reason I stayed with him so long is because I felt comfortable. I'm actually surprised I stayed as long as I did. But I was also talking to others guys (not having sex with) while we were together. IP: Logged |

I think Uranus would do its work in this case too. However I think it will be less chaotic at least later in life. Saturn does its job too. So it may stabilize Uranus or slow it down especially because Saturn is in his own sign and Uranus is ruled by Saturn in this case so do the Moon and DSC. Don't understimate Saturn's fear for whatever it touches. Saturn taking relationships so seriously is the major reason he avoids them (at least at first).

Right?! Why some Libran/Venusian/7th-House influenced natives are afraid of doing ANYthing alone mindboggles me too. Some people don’t even have the “guts” to spoil themselves with a well-deserving week-long 5-star all-inclusive vacation - just because their friends, family or significant other don’t financially prioritize traveling and they don’t wanna be alone. Honestly, I will never understand why some people settle for a romantic relationship with someone (that they’re not 100% actually IN love with) for 4-5 years, yet never actually intend on marrying them. I heard its because when a man does not want to marry a woman, it’s due to the fact that he already knows his relationship with her will end. It could be in a month, it could be in 3 years. For the time-being, he is of the mind, “I guess you’ll do”. What do you think? IP: Logged |
