Reading this this thread and posts by people from all across the world, made me realize that sadly we still have a long way to go toward understanding why different races exists, and that true beauty comes from the soul...no matter how perfectly asymmetrical your physical features, if your mind, attitude and the words that come out of your mouth are ugly, nobody is going to be attracted to you. Yes, it is 99 percent about the personality, and 1% and maybe even less about the looks, because the last one can get normal for you after a few months. Unless a long-term relationship is not what your're looking for.As far as beauty surgery goes, based on what I have seen, plastic surgery starts looking really wrong on you as you age. Then you will have to do more to fix what you have done in the past, and that continues into a vicious cycle. With the exception of a nose job which is done neatly by a surgeon with good taste and more importantly good common sense!...but even with that, comes the risk of looking your sense of smell, and it is a pretty difficult surgery needing a lot of care afterwards. Imagine all the time and money, spent all to look a certain way to people who will never approve of you anyway?! Still, if you think that getting something done on your face will improve your self-esteem, these days more and more new technologies are being introduced to make your nose look more beautiful, which actually cost way less than surgery. look them up, and really do research and make up your mind by considering all the aspects before making permanent changes on yourself.
