Hi everyone Eyebrows excluded, although I have not devoted any time, nor energy, into wearing makeup, for the past 3 years, I'd like to have symmetrical features. My family members think I should accept my attractive face the way it is, but I'm not happy with it. When I hated my uneven gums and asymmetric teeth, my mother paid to get them fixed through 2 dental surgeries; now I LOVE my smile.
There's nothing anyone can do about having uneven eyes, but since mine are big beautiful "watery", I've accepted that I have one higher than the other. However, I cannot stand my asymmetric nose because it ruins, the symmetry of my feminine bone structure and proportions. I'm not 100% sure about getting a rhinoplasty, since I have what-is-considered a "small" nose; but I'm very interested in starting off with either a non-surgical nose job, or an alarplasty to correct my nose. Also, my lips are slightly too big and asymmetric, so I'm contemplating getting a lip-reduction done, at some point in my 20s. It's not a top financial priority though. ------------------ Cancer Rising 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto 1st House Cancer Venus & Mars 9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC. Nothing is symmetrical. You have to accept it. If however for some reason you do not like your nose, you can always opt for plastic surgery to "fix" your nose. HOWEVER as with any surgery it involve risks (I am not talking about life risks, even though it can happen) but the risk of not like your nose after surgery . Anyways, I have nothing against plastic surgery , but I think it should done after 25. Couple of my friends "fixed" their noses. One absolutely adores it, another (well she is on your 3rd nose job) ... never satisfied. But mind you, all of them are adults in their 30s (they are adults and they can AFFORD it financially) I would advise against doing anything in your teens or earlier 20s , imho

- Venus (values) in 1st (body, and/or self) - Mars (where we expend our energy/put forth effort) in 1st (again: body, and/or self; our presentation to the world)In Vedic, the 2nd House governs the face - one way Sun-2 manifests might be that you take pride(Sun = ego) in your face(2). Or in non-Vedic, Sun-2 might just manifest as pride about self, i.e.valuing(2) your Self(Sun). Moon-6 means one is comforted by perfection, and Pluto-6 goes to extremes about detailedness. But these are not pointers on their own for flesh obsession - whereas the others are standalone points for appearance. IP: Logged |

Surgery is by definition NOT natural anything. Though this answers your previous post, if you spend so much time obsessing about trying to make your face/body something they're not designed to be: perfectly symmetrical; there's no way relationships or sex are ever going to appeal to you.

Yaa every motherfuckerr starts looking the same, cant separate Jenna from Kim. On the other hand, I would understand if an Asian has a plastic surgery so that we can easily recognize them though. IP: Logged |

Why?I think you should be careful of that Moon/Pluto in 6th mix.It can create compulsive obsessions and magnify insecurities. The Venus/Mars in 1st does suggest lots of energy invested in the aesthetics. It also suggests a questionable self-esteem i.e you "critique" yourself a lot. Venus ruling self esteem is in the 1st house. You may depend too much on your looks for how you feel. Mars in 1st also can have you be defensive about appearance Interesting how Venus is associated with aesthetics whilst Mars rules knives and surgery. So the two together could suggest surgical(Mars) enhancements (Venus)? Are Sun/Mercury conjunct? Sun in 2nd always emphasize some sort of self-esteem issue that needs upliftment. This especially when Sun is in Aries,Taurus,Leo,Scorpio,Cap and Aqua. IP: Logged |

Im going to tell you the truth. Its cause your black in canada where they clearly haven't taught you to value your true natural self. Your paying money to change your facial features to look like people who hate you. In reality you hate your self. IP: Logged |

Dental work is one thing. Surgery is a whole other ball game. In my experience, you trade one problem for another. I regret the work I've had done because while I enhanced certain features, I've also made some worse. I wish I would have just been happy with my body. Same goes for the friends I know who have had work done. Sagittarius isnt typically a perfectionist. You can feed your moon in other ways. Usually virgo placements give that desire to have perfection along with pluto will trigger it. It was pluto in my case. I was obsessed for like a year before I had my surgery. IP: Logged |

I've spent a lot of time in canada and no lie, one Halloween i met a girl dressed up as a black girl, complete with black face, a fro, and a pick in her hair. I told her if she wore that costume where I'm from (FL) she would get beaten up. Granted, this was about 8-9 years ago, but still...couldn't hardly believe it then. IP: Logged |

Wow!! You know, I take it for granted that I am black. And that is because in South Africa, a majority of people look just like me. So having dark skin, a big nose, big lips and big d**** is typical I don't know what to make of people who make fun of a particular race. In my experience its always been whites who make fun of Indians,Black people etc. And I don't understand why such people believe it A-Okay to do that. I went to a white school and therefore I have never thought myself "sexy" because I wasn't blue-eyed and blonde. So I never questioned it. It wasn't important to me. It was only after going to varsity that when I had people do a double take on me, I would giggle at that & think "hey, maybe I'm not that bad looking after all." Point here is that environment is EVERYTHING. It can either floor your self -esteem or heighten it etc. That all those guys who were considered "hot" in the white school that I went to, would really fade into oblivion in a predominantly black one. That they would(in an attempt to fit in) "modify" their physical appearance to give the impression of being more "black". I get it. I really do.That's it. Within the context of that knowledge, I must add the importance of that Sun in 2nd. This could definitely be a self-esteem issue pertaining to looks? I didn't know you were black and how these external factors alter the reality you face somewhat. IP: Logged |

race blindness actually happens with all races funny enough some people just have a look about them too i always see people who look just like my younger brother to a point where im always tempted to take ninja pics to make a him collage out of them with a picture of him thrown in to see if he can pick himself out (too much work to actually do though) never see anyone who looks like my older brother though and no one ever tells me i look like anyone either IP: Logged |

My Cappy/Pisces/Pisces sister has always been into skincare, makeup, etc. I look thrown together, a lot of the time, but I've had issues with hair loss, due to stress and illness. I'm trying to rectify it, but it's taking years.I'm useless with skin care, and makeup. I forget to moisturize, rarely use masks. I was better about it when I was younger, and didn't need it as much. I take collagen for my stomach, and another supplement that supposedly helps skin and hair. it's easier to remember - and the collagen helps the skin outside, as well as the stomach tissue. I'm Aries/Gemini/Scorpio. Uranus conjunct ascendant. More slap-dash, I guess. Last night, I needed to buy more liquid foundation, and I didn't know if I should get the same one (also couldn't remember which tone I had at home), or whether I should try something new. I sat on the floor for ten minutes, wishing that I had my mother or sister there with me - or another woman to just help, and talk about this stuff. I might be more into it, if I had that. I can tell Asian people apart, and I find Asian men attractive. I actually find people of all races attractive. IP: Logged |

Oh no, please don't have surgery!! I have a younger friend, a Taurus, who deals with these feelings, too. She wants to have surgery, and she's so pretty. I've never really liked the way I look, but never wanted to go under the knife, either. When I was fifteen, I read a book called Psycho-Cybernetics. It was written by a man who was a plastic surgeon, and was mystified by how many people weren't happy once they had surgery, even though he had given them what they wanted. He hadn't botched anything, it was that they still had the same feelings and insecurities that they had before. So he wrote a book, in an effort to help them to change their thinking.

I am not sure why so many of you so against PS? It is ok imho. But it needs to have all consideration of an ADULT (at least 25+, better in 30s) person.Take into considerations of all the medical Risks, recovery, finance so on. In addition, you have to understand that with any plastic surgery person can somewhat loose their facial "identity". You do not want to look like "Instababy". Honestly you do not want to look like EVERYBODY else (It is not attractive in any way). But if a person (I am not talking about OP) wants to fix a HUGE crooked nose. Why not? PS: I personally did not have PS (besides: filler, botox and IPL) But I see myself doing it when I am in my 55's or 60'sPS: Do you want to hear a funny story? about 15 years ago I went to a couple of PS's for a consult to make my cheekbones less prominent (Honestly you can cut paper with my cheekbones )Both of them told me."God, people pay top dollars to have cheekbones like yours, are you in a right mind?" one of the PS even took pictures of my cheekbones so he can "model" his future patients. So in their eyes it was really beautiful. Funny as it is (maybe even pathetic), after my consults I started to appreciate my cheekbones. Now, I would never allow anybody come close to them with knife or injectables IP: Logged |
