@GalacticCoreExplosionI have some (a little) gifts with connecting with spirits but I am not interested in that type of work, its too much for me, feels too heavy and I cannot do both work with spirits and be a counselor hahahaha, I just can't. I feel that since neptune is my strongest planet, I find working with spirits as a career that it would be too ungrounding for me and something about it feels like you aren't suppose to tbh. I mean there is a place for it up to a point but you can get lost in that world and they are separate for a reason, something about it feels is not a good path for me. As for twin souls if they exist I without a doubt have met mine and his name is Ray Daniel and he is my ex. My husband is my earth partner and Ray is someone I am forever connected to, our connection is not made for this world or of this world I feel, is timeless, forever mine and I forever his and it doesn't feel like there has ever been a choice on this matter, it just is. Yes, it´s not necessarily necessary or helpful for a sensitive to do this work consciously in their waking state, especially if they already have an intense service/helping job. But I would place bets that your Soul does retrieval work during your sleep state. I think you would likely really enjoy a book called ¨Cosmic Journey´s" written by my late friend, Rosalind A. McKnight or who I knew as Rosie. She was one of Robert A. Monroe´s long time ¨explorers¨ back in his lab when he was researching and fine tuning Hemi-Sync binaural beat audio technology. It is one of the best direct experience based spiritual/nonphysical books I have read, and Rosie was a dear person and very old Soul. One of those people that radiated Love and wisdom. Her guidance talks quite a bit about retrievals and the retrieval process. Rosie and I became friends because in her book, her guidance talks about her strong Capricorn earth energy being important in the retrieval process. She put an email address in her book, and I was curious about that statement of her guidance and contacted to ask her if she knew if she had any Capricorn in her astro. chart. She wrote back, and said yes. We found out that we shared the same birthday, and oddly some other personal placements (Moon, Mercury, Venus). We corresponded for awhile via email and as we lived in the same state, we ended up meeting up a couple times in person for lunch. She was elderly when we met and a few years into our connection she ended up passing due to heart/health complications. Anyways, I do think that you could get something from her book. As to Ray, I don´t want to pry. Thank you for sharing. Too bad there is not a p.m. system here. IP: Logged |

I had a dream once where I did visit a lower vibratory level like you mentioned in one of your replies. I woke up screaming out of the top of my lungs and my heart was pounding. This place just felt impoverished, abandoned, empty, isolating, there was really nothing there but somehow I got this sense or inner knowing that I was in some in-between place but not the good kind. I was sleeping over my cousin's house whose father had passed away many years prior, I didn't think there was a connection with that until now, my uncle was a really good guy so is hard to think he would be stuck in a place like that. I also remember having one dream that involved a lot of spirits and I got the sense in that dream that I was helping them although I am not sure how I was helping them. These two dreams would support your hunch about me but I don't know how I am helping or if I am TBH. I have a client born January 8th like my dad but different years she has a gift she told me about in our last session, spirits seek her out and give her messages to tell others ect...she thinks I also have this gift and that it can get stronger and will get stronger but I feel am not open enough to it but then here you are also pushing me in that direction, encouraging me to read this book and I find myself believing you that I would enjoy reading it. A P.M system would be awesome in here indeed! IP: Logged |

No fu*king way! hahahahaha Get out! I don't know, I had this hunch that I should mention that date bc there is something about that date with me but did not think you would come back with telling me all three of you were born on that day hahahaha, craziness. So there is more about this date I can add..... So my client that I told you about born January 8th with psychic gifts, in our last session towards the end she felt a spirit reaching out to her (she felt this strong pain on her chest and difficulty breathing that mimicked how this lady who was reaching out to her passed away) and about a week ago from that day my sister's mother in law passed away (and she did have difficulty breathing when she passed, I happen to be in Miami and attended gathering after the funeral and saw her sons). The lady's birthdate who passed away was also January 8th! It turns out that this lady had a message for me as she is worried about 1 of her 8 sons who struggles with mental health issues, I forwarded the message to my sister but I already had told her after the funeral gathering the day after when we met for lunch a similar message about that son strangely. The pain in her chest went away once the spirit felt I understood the message. How appropriate for her to pick a counselor in the family to give this message to so I could forward it to one of her sons via my sister (so cappy lol). Then my supervisor who I completed my post graduate supervised hours with was also born January 8th... I don't know what it is about this date but I have even joked to my cappy co-worker/friend that I attract this people with this birth date in my life. Then you add that January is the month with least births so is not a popularity thing. IP: Logged |

Add I am my father's only biological daughter and I have a great connection with him, he is a great dad. He is also very out there, he introduced me to flower essences and emotional freedom technique, energy psychology stuff. He is why I started to have dreams bc he taught me this technique to help me remember my dreams and when he was young he went through an astral travel phase. IP: Logged |

LOL, tis the true true, verily. That´s pretty intense about your client, and the lady who passed. In general, that does seem to be a lot of Jan. 8th connection, and beyond what random chance would seem to correlate with. I seem to remember reading something in one of the Linda Goodman books about people that share a birth day being or reducing to 8, often have a strong karmic connection to each other. Don´t know if it objectively true or not but my partner´s day is an 8 vibration. My best male friend for many years birthday is an 8 vibration. The woman I fell in love with back in June (and who may also be my Twin Soul along with my partner), not only had an 8 day vibration, but she also has the same Life path core number that I have of 9. I mean what are the odds of that? Or that we both would feel a very powerful past life connection to Egypt, or that we both got into metaphysics/spirituality very young? (and so many more synchronicity beyond chance). As regards Jan. 8th in particular, it´s a general 9 vibration (the 1 of Jan plus the 8 of the day) and that might have something to do with it? 9 is most assuredly not ruled by Mars whatever some folks online or in some books say. It is much more a combo of Jupiter and higher Pluto combo. A very purple spectrum type vibration. Purple of course is a very Pineal gland connected energy. Pineal of course is very, very psychic. For me it´s doubly emphasized since my entire birth date also adds up to a 9. 9 is also all about endings of a cycle and transformation. 9 is trying to become the 10 of the Sun. 10 is one of the most complete and fast vibratory numbers there are. Then you factor in the 8 vibration itself, which a materially powerful number, you get a bit of a blend of power of heaven and earth in one shot with Jan. 8th, and with some of that pure Fire of 1 as well (i.e. combo of 1, 8, and 9 vibratory patterns). Powerful and balanced combo. Your dad sounds like my kind of guy, and a pretty cool person. It´s funny that people so often have this conception or perception of people with strong Capricorn as being very boring, conventional, traditional, etc, but ime and observation, quite a number of us are pretty freaky and out there. Granted, a lot of this can be correlated with certain planets, like the outer planets and Jupiter strong, but is it all that all the time? I mean, look at David Bowie and Elvis Presley who also were born on Jan. 8th. (and I´ve seen Bowie in an interview talking about being a shy, introverted Capricorn lad). Those dudes were out there in some deeper ways. Rumor has it that Elvis was reading a Cayce book on the hopper when he died. Elvis was a pretty cool guy until he allowed the fame and drugs to go to his head, then he got VERY warped. But before that, he was an amazingly heart open person. IP: Logged |

Every time I see this thread title I feel super bitter because my ex bf is a Cap and honestly I feel like his heart was nothing but an endless sheet of ice. There was no warmth to be found in that man despite endless attempts. He was a dried up well. I didn't want to comment in this thread and be a total downer but I feel compelled to now after reading the last few comments - he was also born January 8th! IP: Logged |

There are some cappys like that but they are not the majority at all! I feel cappy's like that are often that way bc they have a lot of trauma and almost no support system and are in chronic survival mode and don't know how to not be on guard and possibly got stuck somewhere along their emotional development. My father born Jan 8th has only been married once and has been an excellent husband, a freaking angel tbh and a good dad. His parents had an amazing marriage and everyone in the family looked up to them, he does not have childhood trauma and has always had a good support system. That been said I am glad you responded to this thread! I honor your pain and vent if you need to, we are here for you. IP: Logged |

That's an amazing assessment Hypatia and definitely rings true for my ex-Cap, LOTS of trauma there though he had no motivation to unpack any of it, so he just projected and took it out on those that dare to love him. Thank you for your kind words ❤️ For sure still in the process of healing! In spite of the experience I adore Capricorns, I find their stoicism to be a thing of beauty, especially when they're high functioning IP: Logged |

If you have a Cap in very small doses i.e you are not exposed to them everyday etc. Then yes, I agree. Saturn is very heavy energy to deal with and still be able to stay upbeat.I see that in your case you have 2nd house cusp in Cap and ruler(Sat) in the 11th house. So this suggests being drawn to them as friends and associates(11th) as they feel like home(2nd house) to you. Also the ruler (Saturn) is 10 houses away from the house it rules(in the 11th).This strengthens its energy in that house through house derivatives. Capricorn is loyal and perhaps that is what you admire(2nd) and see as valuable? They do tend to make very good friends who are there through the thick and thin of it all. There is that added Juno in Taurus(ruled by Venus) opp with Saturn. So perhaps a romantic attraction to them too?Or atleast an attraction to someone who has those qualities? Notice that Ven/Mars are in Leo in the 8th house of sexual intimacy. And the 8th house is affiliated with Pluto(symbolically). Pluto conjuncts Saturn. Add to that Venus/Mars conj in Leo-affiliated with the 5th house. And Juno in the 5th house opposes Saturn. Mars rules the 4th house in your chart.Venus rules the 5th house. Both are conjunct in the 8th house (associated with Pluto symbolically) With Pluto conj Saturn. So you seem to like the Saturnine energy imo. IP: Logged |

Not true of my sister, she had me, mum, dad, and others. She's always had issues, and had improved as an adult - until she was back to certain responses. You described me over the past eight years, though. IP: Logged |

Those horns are sometimes pointed towards their rear and can hook you in and drag you closer. The Capricorns in my life are some of the fumiest people, and often do really genuine and sweet things to those they care about. They're very inclusive to who they allow to be in their tribe but if you're in they bless you with wonderful gifts to display their appreciation of you. And you want to be apart of their tribe, it's fun, everyone is laughing, and the hospitality is always present. The best parties are Capricorn parties. They have a side that is stubborn to say the least and sometimes you get to a point where you want to walk away and then suddenly they will do something that seems to redeem themselves. I have to take breaks from these goats (I can be a stubborn aries after all) but I love them all as much and look forward to our paths crossing again.
Yeah, I miss that side of my sister, too. I just will never understand certain sides of her - or I understand, but will never accept what she does (denies reality, and hurts me in whatever way she can). I remember the trouble she had in school, and when a friend asked me if she always had to be hanging around with us, I just said, "Yes!" I couldn't believe she'd expect me to ditch my sister, and leave her alone. But she had no problem trying to cut off any relationships that I had, and enjoyed herself doing it, all over someone to tried to cheat on her multiple times. She can lie to herself, in order to keep what she wants in her life. I remember when he hit on me, and I just ran away from him (we were alone in the house). I was shocked, and also angry that he thought I would ever do that to my sister. Sisterly loyalty means nothing to her, and I've never done anything to deserve the way she treated me, so whatever. Ugh, I need to try to get back to sleep.

Ah, kool beans. Have a friend that is really into the Enneagram system. I don´t remember what your numbers mean. Don´t remember exactly in what order, but my 3 main ones are 2, 4, and 5 I think (barely remember what they mean). 6 to me is a very Venusian related vibration/archetype. IP: Logged |

Haha great points Aries23! Interesting enough Romantically speaking I like the blend of both, Cappy with Scorpio, which fits well what you are pointing out. The last two guys I developed strong feelings for both are Capricorns with pluto conjunct AC and one has chart ruler in scorpio stellium and the other has AC in scorpio. Nice to hear from you! ❤️ IP: Logged |

LOL so a good pickup line for you Hypatia would be something along the lines of, "Hey Baby, I'm a Capricorn Sun, with Scorpio IC, ruler of my chart, the Sun closely square Pluto, and ruler of my Moon, Venus almost exactly trine Pluto" (followed by a 'wink, wink')? Not that "I" would ever say such a thing... IP: Logged |

Hmmm, I don't generally listen to that genre of music, but I dug it. Felt a little Pisces or Neptune mixed in there too I think. Thank you for sharing it. Here's a few sexy songs that I really like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnsFzcmghRU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u6-1ta2iUI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgvC8UgNAy0 (I love the crescendo/climax in the above song) http://youtu.be/2uWzi0W2h6g (Ok, so Bono is one of my rare man crushes, if you were wondering why the list was a bit U2 centric. And how couldn't a person with strong Taurus and Scorpio Moon conjunct Neptune be at least a little sensual and sexy?) IP: Logged | |
