Well, my Ascendant and its ruler is in the same sign. I think I relate most to descriptions of having my chart ruler in the 12th house. In that sense, I relate much more to my Mercury placement than to any traditional descriptions of Gemini. Even with my sun on my ascendant, I relate more to having Mercury in the 12th house. I’d vote for identifying with my moon in Capricorn over my sun and ascendant too.

If it exists, do you mind posting your BC/BR Time Chart?

edit: As well, have you looked into the Nodes? Vedic practitioners say the "Mean" Node - which is not astro.com's default choice - is the accurate Node. (This hardly hardly hardly matters for Western, but can be a gamechanger in Vedic because of Divisional Charts.)
