I don't know. I think I can relate to Scorpio (but I have Uranus conjunct ascendant, too). I'll have to think about it. I have Moon conjunct Venus, so that can be Libra-like/Venusian. I was also apparently born in the hour of Venus, according to software I used to have.

What sign is your pluto in Teasel? Since pluto rules your chart. Thanks for participating...

Libra, 11th or 12th house, depending on the chart type used.

I identify with both my Virgo Ascendant and the Scorpio sign of it's Mercury ruler (in Placidus 2nd house).

However, I believe that "chart rulers R us" during the first Saturn Cycle and - prior to transit Uranus opposing my natal Uranus - identified more with the qualities of Mercury than with those of Virgo or Scorpio. ... [For example, I saw myself a thinker rather than an intense nit-picker.]

Oh yeah that makes a lot of sense actually! Huh nice....

I guess the question is do you identify more with scorpio or libra?

I wonder if your scorpio riser feels more like a mask and the pluto in libra more the real you? but is interesting you have Uranus conjunct your AC too so I feel you might identify with both strongly maybe....or you rebel against your scorpio traits and are not a typical scorpio riser which makes your pluto in libra stand out more, just putting different possibilities out there.

I have a client who is a gemini riser and he is super chatty but his chart ruler is mercury in ARIES and he totally feels like an ARIES to me, he projects ARIES, although he has gemini traits definitely but he projects ARIES in how he carries himself and like to him it feels more part of his identity, he actually seemed to be unaware of his gemini traits, he made a comment about not liking geminis bc they talk too much (lol he talks a lot, he also has expressive moon in leo but I like that he is chatty and enjoy his gemini side too), he says geminis get distracted too easily and don't finish what they start and he has gemini rising and venus in gemini LOL but his venus in gemini is in the 12H which could explain why he doesn't see his gemini traits at all it seems but they are there, I can see them. He is a typical jack of all trades in line with gemini, has had a bunch of different jobs at his young age, he has many skills, versatile.

He doesnt own gemini as part of his identity but its definitely a part of him but he projects Aries in how he carries himself. Is like the gemini side is automatic and the aries is maybe more conscious (a mask), it is still very much a part of him but is how he wants to carry himself and others to see him so is less automatic and more intentional.

After all often a portion of our AC is in the 12H so that could be why it is a bit automatic bc it starts from a subconscious place, part in our 12H and part in our 1H, AC brings the 12H to the surface for others to see but since it stems from the subconscious is a bit intuitive and automatic so NO, not like a mask. Now the sign the ruler falls in is a more conscious expression I am getting the sense and less automatic but we want to express that energy and project it when we interact with the world.

Another client she is a gemini with gemini rising, she doesn't identify strongly with been a gemini and feels Taurus resonates more with her and her chart ruler Mercury is in Taurus but I see both the gemini and the taurus.

This fascinates me.

Probably because my chart ruler is the Sun, and my Sun is in Capricorn, with the ruler of 4 Virgo placements, Mercury, also in Capricorn--all in all I identify more with Cap than Leo. Except when I do karaoke, and then I let the Lion out to feast for a brief time...

But my Sun is in major and nearly major (combo of parallel and semi-sextile with Neptune) aspect to almost every Planet, and the couple that aren't, are otherwise strongly to moderately highlighted.

Hence, a very universal and integrated Sun.

Thanks for sharing, I see your point about your sun been the last dispositor of your mercury and hence ruling indirectly your 4 Virgo planets...plus it conjuncts your mercury and trines your mars and Jupiter, you should write a book, it makes sense, all that will give you the drive, will power and ability to do it, for real, your chart screams write a book. Or you can do podcasts or have your own you tube channel, add the leo riser may feel comfortable in the screen or presenting although Virgo is shy and a tad bit more behind the scenes so podcasts or writing a book maybe better over youtube channel but all are possible.

This is interesting because I feel I identify with my ASC ruler quite a lot. Pluto in libra. As opposed to my ASC in scorpio (but I still do identify with it). And like teasal I have Uranus on my ASC too so there’s that lol.
My husband is a libra sun. I wonder if there’s a resonance there. My pluto conjuncts his sun/pluto/mercury in libra.

I feel my aquarius rising the most. Uranus is in Scorpio in the 9th, and Saturn is in virgo in the 7th.

I do feel strong ties to both Uranus and Saturn - but maybe having a dual ruler waters down the potential impact of the chart ruler? I'd be interested to know the thoughts of others who have rising signs with joint rulers.

Overall, I'm very aware of my aquarius side. I do though attract people with heavy Uranus/Saturn energies - eg my closest friend has Uranus tightly conjunct his ascendant, and Saturn tightly conjunct his sun/mercury.

A new person who appears to be important to my life has Uranus exactly opposite their sun/moon conjunction.

I am glad is got you thinking about it from a different angle...and thanks for participating, I am enjoying reading the responses. This topic is interesting to me.

How lovely your Chart ruler conjuncts his SUN, you two must feel like kindred spirits. I wonder if you feel its easy to express yourselves and be yourselves around each other.

Strangely I am attracted a lot more to people who fall in my AC/DC angle than people who aspect my chart ruler but I think is because my chart ruler falls in the 12H, I think if it was in the 1H it would be different and I would attract a lot more early degree Saggys.

I would add to this question the chart ruler. Because if your chart dominates something like Pluto. Majority of AC like Pieces, Libra, Gemini (people-oriented?) wouldn't fit the regular description. I think the fire AC would be fine.
I'm sure my chart ruler modifies my AC a lot. Probably, itt deserves its own survey.
I'd say I'm introverted Libra. (If there's such a thing) However, If I open my mouth or start some activities my Virgo and Scorpio will jump up. I often need to filter myself otherwise somebody's gonna be mad😏

Do you have aquarius rising in the 1st Decan? meaning first 10 degrees of aquarius?

I could see how having a dual chart ruler falling in two different signs makes it so maybe you identify more with your AC sign. However since saturn falls in your 7H this may be a part of you that you don't readily own and attract it more in others perhaps. So my guess is you identify a lot with aqua rising, scorpio and the 9H. Scorpio is more emotional and aqua is more detached but both are about change and need to shake things things up.

Is change and or crisis a big theme in your life, did you immigrate early on in your life by any chance?

There is another client of mine I have been seen for over a year now and I learned recently she has Scorpio rising but her PLUTO is in LEO and conjuncts Jupiter in LEO. She is friendly, warm and outgoing and can be blunt. How she interacts with others is definitely more LEO than scorpio rising, I only sense her scorpio rising when she gets angry bc I start to see this vindictive resentful side to her but it took me a long time to even pick up on the scorpio as you see more the libra in her initially, SHE has SUN in libra with Venus in Libra and Sun in Libra rules her Chart ruler Pluto conjunct Jupiter in LEO. How she interacts with the world is definitely a LEO/LIBRA blend and you don't notice the scorpio rising in her much actually, her scorpio rising is at 28 degrees too so most of it falls in her 12H, I don't feel she owns her scorpio side a lot since is mostly in her 12H.

Her son always says that when she walks into a room she lights up the room not in line with AC in scorpio but with her PLUTO conjunct Jupiter in LEO.

We do feel like kindred spirits for sure. However this pluto/sun is in my 12th house (like your chart ruler) so there’s a hidden quality and very deep spiritual connection with him. I tend to attract a LOT of libra suns. My niece and nephew are both libra subs and I’m their favourite aunt lol. There’s just this deep connection going on.
Yes I am very much also connected with people who are on my angles like you but I’m pretty sure my husbands angles all conjunct mine if his tob is correct. So my AC conjuncts his IC. My DSC conjuncts his MC. Will find out soon hopefully!

I historically enjoy 12H synastry bc I have moon in pisces personally but it can go either way like if a person's sun falls in your 12H the sun person may feel they cannot trust you or like they cannot be fully themselves around you, they may feel restricted and uncomfortable in your 12H as it rules prisons and asylums ect....

I feel with 12H synastry it can really go either way. Also that psychic connection for some feels uncomfortable bc they feel they are not fully in control of their mind and like this person is always in their head roaming around in their subconscious but if you are open to it and feel comfortable with that it can be very bonding but has side effects, like feeling suspicious of the other, feeling they are hiding something, jealousy issues surfacing do this odd feeling they are hiding something lol I mean you get it, pros and cons.

Yes there’s definitely THAT! We trigger each other a lot lol. But our connection is very binding. But maybe I’m more ok with it because I have Neptune opposite my sun 🤷🏻‍♀️

That's a really interesting perspective, thanks. My ascendant is at 15deg so slap bang in the middle of the second decan.

I do have SN in aquarius, so it's likely that that has an influence on my identifying with aquarius and Uranus.

Change and crisis weren't necessarily big when I was young, but since reaching adulthood I've moved house a lot and the last 2-3 years have been change after change - thanks to transiting Uranus conjunct my sun!

I like to think I'm cool and detached but I am really very sensitive and can get easily emotional at random times. When my dad died, I was the 'cool' one who hid my emotions in public until I could deal with them safely.

But at work, I'd often be reduced to tears because of my boss - usually driven by anger. Interestingly, her sun exactly conjuncts my Saturn ha.

With that in mind I think you may be right about identifying with Scorpio Uranus!

It has been considered and investigated by a professional astrologer, hypatia. ... He confirmed 'Virgo R Us", and neither strangers nor intimate acquaintances would doubt that (from my physical appearance and worn-on-the-sleeve behavioural traits).
