quote: Mars transiting through its own sign of Aries is extremely dynamic and will dominate the second half of 2020, especially during the retrograde phase from September 9 to November 13 (28°08ʹ–15°14ʹ Aries).(1)Mars retrogrades approximately every two years, but it rarely does so in the sign of Aries. It happened last in 1988 and won’t occur again until 2067. This year Mars will be much more powerful than it was in 1988, when it was not making hard aspects to any of the outer planets. In 2020, it will form repeated squares to Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn. As if that weren’t enough intensity, Mars will also be conjunct Eris, Goddess of Discord, for the second half of 2020 (exact in August, October, and December).

Elijah Schaffer reporting on the ground from the Portland riots. quote: Antifa has brought down the barrier. War begins.
This is the protective barrier that surrounds the courthouse. The situation in Portland is extremely volatile and is escalating. I think it's likely it will escalate dramatically and/or come to a head in the next couple of weeks when transiting Mars will form squares to transiting Jupiter, Pluto, and then Saturn. http://twitter.com/ElijahSchaffer IP: Logged |

I posted links in GU, that show it’s one block that’s affected. Also mentioned a friend, who said it’s been three blocks, at most. The rest of Portland is business as usual. Veterans travelled there to make their own wall between the feds and the protesters. Yeah, mars retrograde will probably be something. That group of protesters was dying down, until these unidentified feds showed up. They fired them all up again. IP: Logged |

Yes, even though Mars won't be retro until September 9 or 10, it has now entered the shadow phase of retrograde. IP: Logged |

A massive chemical explosion in downtown Beirut, Lebanon has killed at least 60 people and injured 3,000. quote: UPDATE: The Beirut explosion that killed at least 50 and injured thousands on Tuesday, was caused by an estimated 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate left without “preventative measures” in a warehouse, Lebanon PM Diab says.
http://twitter.com/MSNBC/status/1290778806282850305 Israel has offered assistance. I think this event is a correlation with the current Mars transit, which today is forming an exact square to Jupiter, and also squares transiting Pluto. IP: Logged |

So, is it possible with the upcoming Mars Rx that things could get better? Since everything has been a **** -show already with Mars direct. Maybe Mars rx would cause things to hault or stop. Thoughts? IP: Logged |

I ordered decorations for my classroom today. Even though it is uncertain if I will officially go back in the fall.I am also beginning to attempt to not "spiral" when people make me upset...and just let go of expectations of people listening to me, being reasonable, and seeing my point of view. Okay typing that out made me cringe. lol But I watched a video today basically saying if you expect an unreasonable person to be reasonable you are not going to have a good time, and you will spiral. It makes so much sense, but at the same time that has always been something hard for me to deal with. Mars right now is conjunct my Sun, sextile Mars, and square my Saturn. IP: Logged |

Mars Rx tends to be linked to frustration, and being stalled (versus being able to take action on something). There have to be good things about it, though - when Mercury goes retrograde, people talk about going back over things. IP: Logged |

That's one thing I'm working on, too. It wasn't always hard for me, but it is now. I'm also working on not being unreasonable - which also isn't usually hard for me, but it is now. Mars is just past my Mercury. I haven't had any arguments. IP: Logged |

And more exposed rich and famous people is still a strong on going thing like the Ellen controversy. I never had a valid reason to dislike her, but I was never into her talk show or her humor, and was annoyed at how over hyped up she was. One of my friends was into her and would put her clips on youtube and I would awkward fake laugh and "wow.." But it's so fascinating to me that her personality seems to be so different behind the scenes. Like "Karen"-zila! I ask myself, so much about it like did the stress of having the expectation to act so happy all the time plus the fame and fortune get the better of her? There is no way she could of got away with that behavior when she was a "nobody" Like it's kind of hilarious, if I watched a comedy about a happy-go-lucky talk show host and as soon as they were back stage flip the ffff out over the "peasants" who work for her back stage. I would probably crack up. It's just more amusing to me because I guess she emphasized kindness so much on her show. I will admit I watched an old movie where she had an oddball love interest. I wish I remember what that movie was called. But the love interest dressed up as a clown at her window at night as a romantic gesture. Oh it's called Mr. Wrong! I thought that movie was funny. I liked the MadTV impersonations of her. My homophobic uncle told me she is abusive to her wife a long time ago. I took that with a grain of salt, and I haven't heard about this anywhere else. His view is pretty biased after all. Lots of exposed famous people lately from Harry Potter author to youtubers I actually looked up to like Shane Dawson, and Jenna Marbles. A lot going on with who we idolize and cancel culture. IP: Logged |

Well I am rooting for you teasel! I feel like I've been trying to make sense of this since post high school. How many times and how many ways do I need to tell a person no, for them to move on? I wont pretend I'm never demanding or have high expectations. Mom said she would relieve me of my nannying hours so I can focus on school, Wednesday, but she kept getting caught up with stuff and by 4:30pm I pretty much flipped out, I felt awful after, before, and during. I'm more emotionally stable today, but am struggling with motivation. In a what's the point kind of mood. Picking my self up to meet deadlines, and dragging it out.

I haven't been paying attention to anything in the news, except covid and political stuff, but I need to take a break from that, because it's too much at times. I wondered why people were talking about cancel culture so much, over the last couple of days. IP: Logged |

Transiting Saturn and Pluto are conjunct the U.S. Pluto. While transiting Mars squares the U.S. Mercury, then the U.S. Pluto. So, the U.S. Mercury-Pluto opposition is being triggered by transiting Mars, Saturn, & Pluto. There's an information war going on on social media that's heating up now, especially with an election in less than 90 days. I don't know about other countries, but certainly here in the U.S. Twitter and Facebook are engaged in a major purge, based on users political leanings. There's also an orchestrated effort to suppress all information about hydroxychloroquine, even though doctors are treating Covid patients successfully with it. Anyone, including doctors, tweeting about hydroxychloroquine are being censored. IP: Logged |
