So, we're currently in the shadow period. Already, on August 4th, there was a massive chemical explosion in Beirut.

Maybe this excess of fire can be balanced by the energy of water, particularly its calming and healing qualities. In fact, this is a principle in Traditional Chinese Medicine, to balance an excess in one element with the opposite element.

Water is the element associated with the second center or chakra, the East Indian term. Now, music has specific effects on the centers. Music that has an affinity with the second center could be helpful during these stressful transits. The genres of music that "target" the second center specifically are, for example, ambient music and New Age music. I have found that listening to these genres of music has been helpful to stay balanced.

My students are 3 so they wont need to wear a mask but they will have to have their temperature taken everyday. Our cleaning will be upped.
My boss is very "don't come in if you are sick we will get you coverage."
And like many jobs I do not have 14 PTO days. I have 5. LOL
My classroom has a smaller ratio. The director expressed that if we have the minimum amount of students she is not going to try to fill every spot.
If we get back into a certain phase of the virus I will be back home.
The parents at my center are pretty good about keeping their kids home if they are sick, even if they just have a cold.
I am going forward trusting the situation.

I joke w/ another teacher that is it just going to be a sh!+ show.

I wonder if this could change because a few schools are delaying opening in the fall in my area and being online only. My sister sent me a screen shot of the uproar in the comments.

If my school closes again. I am not overly attached to my job due to the "politics" I experienced.
But there is really no plan for online teaching there too. I would not be surprised if I have to go online and I have to come up with a plan myself.

The thing I don't feel good about doing still is flying! And my fiance travels. He is not allowed to fly to any of the states he works in. He has to drive to all of them now. I took a road trip to visit him in June. He is about 15 hours away. Even with flights being cheaper and better cleaning habits and temp checks. It seems impossible to social distance on a plane.
About a year ago I flew out to see him on his first job site.

Sometimes I think, maybe if we had these over the top cleaning practices in the first place we could of prevent illnesses and viruses better in the first place. And maybe they should stick around, even if this ever ends.

That must be tough for both of you. There is a way to solve the issue with flying though.
Some very brave doctors are informing the public about an FDA approved drug that is being successfully used to treat Covid patients. It' called hydroxychloroquine or HCQ. It's also being used by doctors and other people on the front lines to prevent getting it. The riots are only in Democrat controlled cities. If they continue, Democrats will blame the President. If he calls in the Feds, they'll say he's making things worse. I don't think the riots will spread to Republican controlled cities though.

While Antifa, who has been designated a domestic terrorist organization by the U.S. government, along with BLM and its supporters are "peaceful protestors," who "peacefully" assault, loot, and commit arson night after night. Of course, none of this "peaceful" activity is "fomenting hatred."

This is a typical example of black and white thinking, good (protestors/rioters) vs. evil (Trump/Trump supporters), and scapegoating so prevalent in Saturn-Pluto cycles. I think the Mars square heightens the propensity to violent confrontation and deadly force.

The evil part of the duad is most often but not always projected outward onto public figures, or within the family, onto a sibling or parent, who becomes the family scapegoat. On a collective level, Jews, blacks, or Muslims have been scapegoats at one time or another. In this moment, it's whites and police officers who are being scapegoated.

People who have Saturn and Pluto in hard aspect are particularly prone to carrying this scapegoat image within themselves or projecting the disowned parts of themselves onto others.

Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17 year old resident of Antioch, Illinois, was in Kenosha, WI on August 25th working as a lifeguard. Later that evening Rittenhouse, armed with an AR-15, was involved in a violent confrontation with rioters, which resulted in the deaths of two of the rioters, and the wounding of a third. He is now facing charges in these shooting deaths.
