Hey Odettte, rather than start an entire thread about the topic, will just briefly say that no matter which one of those ASC/Venus positions are correct, all of them will involve powerful cusping i.e. merging and blending.

Ultimately, go with what makes the most sense and what feels most correct for you.

The guy I dated is a Gemini Sun and Venus with Mars in Taurus and I have Taurus Venus with Gemini Mars. The attraction was crazy. He was jealous at that time, but in the way that he didn't express it to me, but he checked if I had something to do in my free time. At that time he had his Moon progressed in Scorpio conjuncting natal Pluto.

Hiraku, I just meant that the qualities of Gemini - short term attention, variety, lack of emotional depth, due to its ruler Mercury - put into a Venus, COULD make a person to cheat and those that I've known, have cheated.

I have a Gemini Mars and this qualities are present in my actions. I know a bit of any topic you want to talk with me, but just a bit. Just a few subjects I can take them in depth. I started the faculty of Letters and ended up with Economics degree and now I'm thinking about starting a master about culture. Geminis are best at journalism because they take information and they communicate it further. Which makes them good writers, because they can read a lot of topics, but that doesn't mean that they are qualified in that topic.
Because this is a Gemini Venus, they will be superficial in relationships. They don't really know how to love. They are very fun to be around and anyone can have a great time with them, but they are thinking rational when it comes to love, and love is a feeling. Their love is a *conditioned* (if that's the right word) one because they love the mental connection and a person is more than the abilities they posses.

Meanwhile, the downfall of a Taurus Venus is the materialism that they can get into and the comfort that they seek, could make them to stay in a relationship for the sake of not going through a break up and search for another.

I don't know any signs of cheating in astrology. Maybe Uranus with Venus or Mars. But I wouldn't trust any Geminis. They are funny to be around, but that's all. I even don't trust Gemini Suns. I've had my bad experiences with them. A "friend" of mine was listening to me in my bad days and she seemed to understand me, but in the end she was judging me. She actually made me feel bad for the times when I wasn't in the mood to be at my highest and she gossiped about me to my friends, so....

You cannot say a person will cheat just because they have Venus in Gemini. That's stereotype and it's based on only 3 Gem Venus you know. People cheat for a variety of reasons...some out of insecurity, loneliness etc... not just because they're bored. You said Taurus could be the stabiliser. While I agree Taurus loves stability and is generally loyal but as I listed above, the Taurus stellium guy I know has been cheating on his wife (and unashamed as he's very open about it) for the past 2+yrs. He's planning a child with his wife but no intention of leaving his lover. Scorpio Venus is another sign well-known for loyalty and faithfulness... but I know 2 who cheated.

Astrologically you need to also look at how their Venuses are aspected. E.g. Venus-Uranus individuals can have unstable affection. They can move on from partners very quickly as shown by my friend who has Leo Venus square Uranus. I've seen her crying over her boyfriend one minute and then kissed another guy the next. The Aqua Venus gal has the same aspect. She's known to find another boat before she jumps ship. Also Venus-Neptune people can be easily disappointed in love. This may also prompt them to cheat. The Sag Venus I mentioned above was a serial cheater. His Venus conjunct Neptune square Mars sextile Pluto. Another serial cheater (the one with the Gemini stellium) has Venus conjunct Sun/Moon/DSC opposite Neptune square Saturn trine Pluto.

I would also analyse their Moon/Mars to see the propensity of cheating. You can't just point at one planet and one sign.

We were talking about just the Venus sign. I didn't go any further with this because the question was how they can be differentiated. And between Taurus Venus and Gemini Venus, the Taurus is more grounded and the Gemini is not.
If someone has their personal planets in water sign could make them emotional and somehow involved in a relationship.
Scorpios are prone to cheating because is a sexual sign ruled by Mars. The Sagittarius Venus is the most unfaithful one and I don't think there is a stabilizer for this. ) joking here... maybe there is
Also, one of the Gemini Venus I gave as an example is a Leo Sun, so that's how she behaved. One minute was sad and the next minute she was sleeping with a guy.
Having Mars in Taurus conjunct Venus could point to a person who is more sexual than a person that have this two planets in different signs (Venus in Taurus or just Mars in Taurus and the other in other sign) or even out of degree conjunction.

I believe it is all about compatibility. My friend who was dating a Taurus Venus says he only met her on Saturdays and all he wanted to do was to stay in and watch TV. There was also no surprise elements in their relationship (no flowers, sudden gifts or sweet nothings etc). Some may be ok with this but not for her Leo Venus. It sounds boring to me as a Gemini Venus as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even though as a Taurus sun I also like certain predictability but Venus is how we do love.

Yes, yes, yes, about insecurity of Gemini venus, oh, I can tell but the constant reassurance can be exhausted because it can be easily turned into drama. I can feel that for my Gemini venus ex, but at that time, I couldn't stay for longer because our relationship was too toxic for me.

What are his Venus aspects because that modifies. I can be jealous and possessive as well but your ex’s reaction was overboard. I’d get jealous but I’m normally chill unless they cross the line. He abused you?? That’s a no-no. You’re right to leave him.

I’m actually someone who is there for people, and it takes a lot for me to give up on someone. I never used to want to date around, because I had no interest in dating that many people. I’m more than capable of maintaining a commitment.

I was with a jackass (Scorpio Venus) for longer than I should and my friend also was cheated on repeatedly by her Sag Venus ex-husband. We both have plenty of chances to cheat and dump their sorry ***** but we didn’t (blinded..that’s all I can say) so I feel sad we are often being labeled as cheaters instead. 😭 Her Venus is conjunct Mars/Saturn and I believe the Saturn energy grounds her love nature. My Venus forms a t-square with my Pisces Mars and Sag Moon/Neptune. I’m less resilient than her. I tend to move on quicker when things go south. What I think is IF that person has a lot of Gemini in their chart like the example I mentioned, then their propensity to cheat is much higher. But that’s just one e.g. I have.

I agree Taurus Venus feels more grounded. They tend to be more constant and they build up slowly and steadily. Gemini Venus, on the other hand, appears flighty and flirty. I may come across this way too but I’m actually just socialising; I don’t cross the line. I’m not interested in any of them but maybe some think I’m interested. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But if I fall in love I’m committed, I stop looking.

I think your Gem Venus Leo Sun friend cheats because of a lack of attention. That’s exactly like my Leo Venus square Uranus friend. I’m not saying Leo are cheaters but it’s good to study their whole natal to analyse their emotional/love needs and tendency to act. My ex has a stellium in Leo (Moon/Mercury/Venus). While he has never cheated on me but I remember when he was trying to get back with me, he asked me to accompany him on a work trip. I rejected him as I couldn’t get away at such short notice, considering I just had a new boss and thought it would not be nice for me to go on a 5 days leave the moment she came on board. I explained everything to him and he sounded disappointed. Within 2 weeks he was with another gal! 😳 A gal he said he didn’t love but just wanted her companionship. Tbh I felt played... I guess I haven’t mastered Gemini’s “talents” yet. Lol.

Galactic, I responded, but I’m really tired, so I’ll save it until I’m more awake. My Venus is conjunct my moon, square Mars, trine Pluto, sextile Jupiter, inconjunct Uranus/ascendant.

I do this. I actually thought recently that people don't see it this way. To entertain a Taurus, someone has to take them out for dinner or stay inside and watch a film and cuddle. I am a girl and I didn't make this kind of gifts, but yes, it can get boring for someone that wants to have a more exciting life and with my afflicted Venus, I guess I am more like this than I should normally be, adding the Taurus Moon. A friend that has a Taurus South Node noticed how I don't take risks and he said that I should do it more often. I even have a formula for this. If the possibility for something to go well is more than 70%, I'll do it. The fixed and grounded and stable Taurus ))
Anyway, I think that I want to stay inside more because I'm a Pisces. And usually I enjoy going out to concerts and stuff like that, I think this is because of my Pluto in the 5th house. And Jupiter opposite Saturn is square to Venus so I go back and forward from indulging and being self confident to low self esteem and feeling judged. I think this aspect makes me drive with high speed at times, which is pretty dangerous.

I agree on this. Taurus is more reserved and Geminis like to talk. Communication is important to them.

Neck, The Gemini venus with Taurus mars is openly saying, "I like it", doesn't care about writing a song or poem for someone. The Taurus venus with Gemini sun doesn't say anything but feels tickled, so the response is trying to avoid it, he is the one who writes poem or sing a song for someone.

I guess that the neck is a sensitive spot for me.
When they have the same signs but different planets, it gets difficult.

I know only a Gemini Sun with Taurus Venus which is conjunct to mine, I guess the grounded appearance when choosing clothes? I can relate to this. I have many jumpers (sweaters) that I like to be comfortable in. He also is very talented. He makes great portraits. I wanted to get one from him for myself. I know another taurus Venus, but he is an Aries Sun with Pisces Mercury and he paints really well too. So artistic talent when it comes to Venus Taurus. I also play the guitar and have some songs written. I love music.
A friend of mine with Sun Gemini, Taurus Mercury liked many expensive things. She has an Aries Venus so she liked to be glamorous, she has breasts implants. And the guy I dated with Gemini Sun and Venus, with Taurus Mars, wanted a lot of expensive things. I remember his mother couldn't give him something for his car, an expensive one at that time, even if he was 22 years old, didn't work or have a stable income, he was ****** that his mother couldn't give him.

I didn't find artistic talent when it was a Taurus Mercury or Mars, but more of a materialistic/grounded/high quality view on things. I don't know if I'm right about this.

Yes, I love food and to eat so many things. I don't like to cook. I just like to eat them. )) I'm more into vegan or vegetarian diet.

I really wanted to respond to this..but I didn't want to give a generic response.
(Gemini Sun with Tarrus Venus)

Possessiveness can be an issue because Tarrus Venus takes there time to pick the right person once they pick that person they don't want to let go.

Laugh away if you may..the best companion I ever had was my loyal Brown Female Tabby cat.

With my beloved cat laying on me right now as I type this, there is no way that I can laugh at that. Very much understand.

She loves me and I love her, pretty straightforward and simple.

But preferring animals to people is sometimes a reaction to potential fear of being potentially hurt by people since people are far more complex beings and are more apt to disappoint, upset, and/or hurt you than an animal.

It's an understandable sentiment, for sure, but there isn't much Soul growth involved with connection to animals vs with people. Both the risk and reward are much bigger potentials.

I’m ok to stay in and cuddle but not all the time every time, at least not the whole day. What the Leo Venus told me was they felt like an ‘old couple’ together, lol. He didn’t even meet her on V-day, said he had to go home and read up about work and I thought that was really bad. She also got him gifts for Xmas and V-day while he got her nothing. I’m not sure if this is his Taurus Venus or he didn’t like her that much.

Lol, how do you calculate the 70%? I’m not much of a risk taker either but I’m intuitive so I may sometimes do things out of my norm e.g. the time I quit my full time job and went freelance. Now I may be venturing into biz... my Sag Moon perhaps.

I guess it can be because of Taurus Venus for that guy to be so dull and lazy.
If there are 10 things that have to happen for the thing that I want to happen and 4 of them are a huge risk and highly unlikely to happen as I think, I won't do it.
That's so nice to take such a big step.

I have some experience here. My ex husband is a Gemini Venus, and he did indeed wander and cheat. He likes to keep things light, at the surface. Deep talk, deep thoughts, deep intimacy... not for him. He likes banter and wit and knowledge and skimming from thing to thing. No Taurus placements for him, no real aspects to his Venus.

My daughter is a Taurus Venus. She is also heavily Gemini. She does love banter and wit, but this girl can handle and enjoys very deep conversations and paths of thought. She adores things of a sensual nature- very tactile. She, so far, is quite loyal in nature... though in day to day stuff she is not above bending the truth to fit her needs. Very sexual and sensual in nature, but also has a square to her Venus from her Mars.

I have had many friends and partners with both Venuses. I actually find both very affectionate, though most of them also had strong Cancer placements. The biggest difference I noticed was in the things they like to discuss, and how they go about it. Geminis like words and flitting about like birds from topic to topic. Taurus' like depth and can hold a topic for quite some time.

I find I have more friends with Taurus Venus and more lovers with Gemini Venus, but that's simply because of my chart. I should find more lovers with Taurus placements quite honestly.

My best friend, my step-dad, my mentor, and my friend all have Venus in Gemini.

(Best friend is Gem Sun, step dad a Leo Sun, mentor an Aries Sun, friend a Taurus Sun)

I would say all of them have these things in common:

They will never, ever admit they have a crush on their person of interest. They prefer to be chased, pursued, and enjoy taking a submissive role in the courting process

They, more than any other Venus sign I have ever interacted with, LOVE to induce jealousy in their person of interest, under the impression this will spurn their POI to action

They all are wonderful conversationalists that can talk about anything

They all delight in unpredictability in their partners and friends

All of them are obsessed with music/making playlists for the people they like/are very nostalgic for certain songs in their life

None of them have been able to maintain a long term relationship for very long (why? who knows)

All of them have a vested interest in philosophy

They all have that one "One Who Got Away" (that person never gave into their wishes/played hard to get/moved on)

I know like..... 3 Venus in Taurus people? But I'm not very close to them so I don't feel as qualified to answer that question as much as Venus in Gemini)

I have Venus in Aries for what it's worth. I feel like I must be doing something right because Venus in Gem peeps really seem to like my company and I've known all of these people 5+ years (I've been best friends with my Gem Sun, Venus in Gemini bff for 16 years)

Venus Conjunct Moon in Gemini 2nd House.

My conjunction is at the beginning of the 8th house. I'm very careful, because of what I've witnessed my whole life, and also because I was almost killed when I was small (by a man). I want to know that if they get angry, they won't try to hurt me physically. I want to know that they won't gaslight me, or screw with my family (what's left of it).

So you gotta ask yourself even with the worst that can happen will you still be willing to do this? Because there is no way you can be risk-free all the time and still get whatever you want. You will miss out a lot of things in life. Sometimes you lose the prize but you gain the experience. Let's say I intend to invest $20k in shares. If I lost this money can I still survive and will I be OK with it. If yes I'll take the risk.

You're right! Sometimes you have to take the risk even if the chances are slim.
