Not astrological, unless you have this person's chart:Republican @BurnsForNH is proposing an actual death panel to decide if a woman's life should be saved. Truly disgusting. #NH02 #NHPolitics http://twitter.com/dccc/status/1572597247514411016

Young voters really turned out for this election, after Roe was overturned (and with everything else going on). The election was held under an eclipse and full moon. A blood red moon. Tonight, I read that the Susan B. Anthony foundation, asked republicans to hold off on banning contraception and IVF, for a year or two. IP: Logged |

Also, a woman who was visiting Ohio for her brother’s wedding was denied treatment for a miscarriage and discharged from the ER, even though she’d been bleeding profusely for hours and the fetus had no heartbeat. http://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2022/11/15/1135882310/miscarriage-hemorrhage-abortion-law-ohio IP: Logged |

In the states… Let’s start with good news: Georgia’s abortion ban has been overturned and ruled unconstitutional! The judge’s decision ruled that the law—which banned abortion at six weeks—violated the state constitution’s right to privacy and liberty by forcing women to remain pregnant and give birth. A spokesperson for Georgia’s attorney general said they would be seeking an appeal to the decision immediately. Now onto the bad and the wild. First, the wild. ProPublica has gotten ahold of audio from a strategy session meeting of Tennessee lawmakers and major anti-abortion groups. As you probably already know, Tennessee has come under fire for their extreme abortion ban which doesn’t even have an exception for women’s lives: Doctors are expected to break the law and then affirmatively prove that they had cause to break it. In response, some state lawmakers have talked about ‘softening’ the legislation; the anti-abortion groups on this call are trying to convince them not to. Here is Katie Glenn, state policy director at Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, for example, complimenting Tennessee for their extreme affirmative defense mandate: The other controversial piece of Tennessee’s law has been questions over whether IVF doctors would be prosecuted. The state attorney general came out recently to promise that IVF wouldn’t be impacted, but here is Stephen Billy, the vice president of state affairs for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, telling lawmakers that they just need to wait a little bit before going after fertility doctors (and contraception??): There is so much more in the piece: Read the whole thing. But the short version is, they don’t give a **** about women or our lives, and they want these laws to be as extreme as possible.

http://twitter.com/mindys4Biden/status/1679277079341285376 A Republican man in Iowa today, an elected official, told American women, "If you're not prepared to have a baby, don't have sex." In the year 2023 we're still dealing with this **** . It's difficult for me to wrap my head around.

The people of Ohio, got enough names on petitions, to get abortion on the ballot in November. We also have a vote coming up in August, but the Republicans, who have a militant hold on this state at the moment - and I mean at the moment, because they can't keep breaking the law - want this vote, to keep "the people" from being able to do this again. That's what Issue 1 is about, and they're counting on the usual low turn-out for special elections in August. Anyone in Ohio, needs to vote "NO" in August, on Issue 1. They want to make it so that, if 51 people vote in favour of something, and 49 people vote against it, the 41 people win. They are pushing lies about it being supportive of gun rights, and whatever else they push to scare the people who vote for them. They are liars, they don't want us to have a voice and a vote. They want to crush democracy. This is something that people of all parties, are voting against, so there is hope. Libertarians, Democrats, sane Republicans, the Green party, etc. They have all come out against Issue 1. It has big money from Illinois, spreading lies, and pushing people to vote for it. Someone said their neighbour who has a trump sign, learned what Issue 1 is about, and said she will vote NO in August. That is amazing. It is really amazing, where the lies have really sunk into some people, and they parrot conspiracies, rather than thinking for themselves. So, I have hope that the extremists will fail. And fail bigly. The Ohio Attorney General claimed that this had nothing to do with the petitions to get abortion rights on our ballot, but a few weeks ago, finally told the truth, and admitted that it had everything to do with abortion rights. So, that's one to watch. I don't know the chart for Ohio, although there has to be one. The election in August, and then the one in November. It's disgusting that people with guns, will always have their rights, but women's rights are always hanging in the balance, and currently being removed at a dizzying rate in many parts of the country. After the corrupt supreme court decisions recently, that also goes for gay and trans rights. A woman is now denying hair cuts to trans people, in Michigan. She seems like a clout chaser, just looking to grift off people who hate trans people - increasing business from the hateful, is really important to some. Florida has gone really racist, and is outlawing gay and trans people, as much as they can. They're trying in other states, too. We have moms for liberty, who aren't for liberty at all. They're taking over school boards, and pushing hate in all its forms. Maybe I should have posted this in Mundane astrology - the thread where some people were really afraid of what Trump could do, and then some of them decided to blindly follow him, for their own different reasons. This is as much as I've for Ohio re: a chart.Ohio, Sun Pisces, Moon Gemini (my edit: we were a swing state for a long time, so that's interesting.) Akron, Sun Pisces, Moon Capricorn; Columbus, Sun Aquarius, Moon Cancer Canton, Sun Aquarius, Moon Taurus; Cincinnati, Sun Capricorn, Moon Scorpio Cleveland, Sun Capricorn, Moon Taurus; Dayton, Sun Aquarius, Moon Leo Toledo, Sun Capricorn, Moon Capricorn; Youngstown, Sun Sagittarius, Moon Aries http://wisdom-magazine.com/Article.aspx/416/ Oh, and on issue 1: I meant if 59 people vote for something, and 41 vote against, it would mean that the 41 win. I think I used different numbers, but I'm busy with something else. IP: Logged |

One more political post on an Astrology thread, and you will be banned, teasel. I'm looking at all the July posts and should have already banned you, but I didn't see them. You have been warned countless times. I really think you can't help yourself. Keep your abortion opinions on the political forum. This forum is about ASTROLOGY. It's really not all that difficult to make posts related to Astrology. LAST AND FINAL WARNING.IP: Logged |
