Scorpio Rising, Virgo Venus- I was in my 20s for the 2000s, but anywayI wore the Uggs, but just with jeans. (I still have them, and wear them when I have to go in the backyard in winter with my dog!). A lot of these fashions I just bypassed, and I stay very modest and conservative with my clothing... just to mean that what I wear now is similar to what I wore in the 2010s, the 2000s, the 90s.... hahahaha! Maybe some small modern updates but mostly I wear very simple stuff ... this is all to say I am NOT fashion forward! LOL! IP: Logged |

I can go on and on! LOLI'm okay leaving the shirts in the past that say stuff like "Angel, Hottie, Freak" Lets not forget the soffee shorts that said stuff on the butt too like "Dancer, Wild, Hoochie Mama" I saw a dress at H&M that said "Baby Girl" on it. Yes my husband would call me this sometimes in the early stages, but been there done that! IP: Logged |

It also was a big disappointment when I found out Uggs and snow didn’t actually go together! I got one nice Uggs from a child because she was pretty big. They were never worn (or I just wanted to believe it) and ankle high what looked better and slimmer than regular adults ones. It might be still around. Quality stuff. Later, one girl told me she often had shopped in children departments for expensive brands to save. I thought it was a good hack lol quote: Originally posted by Stawr: I can go on and on! LOL

My Libra sister has bought North Face jackets in the kids section to save money. I remember my Leo mom buying bras in the kids section at Kohl's because her boobs are small and she's cheap. I sometimes think the early 2000's is the worst fashion decade because I hate "billboard fashion."Like buying clothes that have the name of the store you shopped at. Something about it just makes me skin crawl and cringes me out. Like when you have to make such a statement of "I shop here everybody" Just the superficiality of it. Like "I'm or superior because I shop here" "you can't sit with us if you don't shop here" or desperate "look guys I shop here too, can I sit with you?" I did buy a few Ambercrombie tops. But it just made me feel like a poser. I don't really mind the polo's with the tiny symbol though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_PaUS7nbEE MADtv - Abercrombie - New Recruit And the Victoria's secret sweat pants saying PINK on them. I feel the same way for different reasons. IP: Logged |

So It was reinventing the wheel lol I don’t think I actually shopped in the kids section. I bought couple things because they were misplaced or a store didn’t have clear dividing. Teenagers section was useful when I went skinny at times and their sizes fitted. Prominent Venus? I know somebody with Venus 1st, I would say this is the most fashionable person I’ve known. I don’t go even close by. I mostly like to shop than to actually wear lol And I can appreciate somebody else’s style. I can turn and stare if I see somebody dressed up well or interesting.

Abercrombie MadTV is hilarious. I don’t remember if I went to that exact brand, but there were many similars stores. “Like buying clothes that have the name of the store you shopped at. Something about it just makes me skin crawl and cringes me out. " Indeed. Not so far ago, I tried to find VS leggings without any Pink on it. I don’t like it with iconic, expensive brands also. I still shop in the teen section sometimes. Mostly if I really want vacation clothes and want to dress a little risky. You only live once, might as well get it out of my system in case I have babies someday. lol Target doesn't have tube tops and halter tops in the adult women's section. That's a cool observation about having Venus in the first house. I like shopping and wearing, but can have my off days. Certain things are not as fun like swim suit shopping and winter coat shopping. It stinks when the people working the fitting rooms act like you ruined their day because you tried on clothes. Or just assume you are going to trash the room before you go in. I mainly experience this at Khols and Target. Nordstrom was weird though because I felt like the lady checked on me a lot, but I also shopped when the place was pretty dead. I was very resistant to shopping online for many years. I didn't trust it. But I love it now. Especially after a long day. And something about getting stuff in the mail is exciting. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone today. I am wearing a romper for the first time. I just thought "no" because in the past they were only for little girls. But this one really flaunts the cleavage so that helps me not feel like I'm dressing like a little girl. lol I also bought my first body suit. I did not get it at all. Like why are people wearing leotards/onesies? But it's like having the perfect tucked in shirt, so I get it now. I love collecting clothes, I really try to wear everything in my closet. I will not get rid of something for being "so last year" I wore a dress from 2007 for my husbands birthday. I can be a bit overdressed at times. Some of my friends and family see me as out there/flashy. But then some of my other friends/circles I dress pretty normal and boring. IP: Logged |

I never liked shopping, it makes me very self aware of my body. It might be my Venus inconjunct Ascendant that contributes to the feeling of awkwardness. Also Virgo Moon (and draco Virgo Venus) probably makes me very self critical. I can never seem to find the right fit, so I tend to stay away from trends and just stick to the classics. I have a prominent chest (Cancer Mars?), am 5”8 and have an athletic inverted triangle type build. Very girly clothing will look out of place with me and it just makes me feel weird (Venus opposite Uranus?). There were some very girly trends during the 00s that I avoided big time: the (pink) velvet track suits, the abundance of hair accessories (especially the butterfly clips but these were mostly a 90s trend), big (pink) sunglasses, crop tops and chihuahuas (a very fashionable accessory especially in a bag 🤪 ).IP: Logged |

i don't like that either, hate brands and things on my clothes i don't mind music related shirts or something, but even then... as for the op, none of these are relatable, never wore any of it used to dye my hair basically every color and dress sort of goth as a kid 🤷♀️ IP: Logged |

i have venus conjunct ascendant in libra and don't care much about clothes i know about the kids' section stuff just because sometimes that's what fits, a lot of women's clothes are too big on me (i'm 5' and like a size xs or s depending) so it's generally kids', juniors, or if i'm lucky there's a petite section i have an hourglass shape which makes it harder since clothes that are my size aren't usually made for hips, boobs etc i wear a lot of black and absolutely hate shopping unless it's for plants no make up, no hair dye etc etc etc IP: Logged |

Oh yeah, I did go to Ambercrombie for jeans later, I felt way more authentic than the other time. That's awesome that you found leggings w/o the logo on them at VS. That's a good way to phrase it "trying way to hard" When I try on glasses, my husband hates when the logo is too big on the sides. I feel like if I wear certain logo's I'm making a statement of in your face I shop here too and there's nothing you can do about it. In my early 20's I did get a few tops that just said "Bebe" on them. I also had a Baby Phat top, but I loved the black kitty logo. My husband got me a Canadian Goose coat. I like how it just has a symbol patch on the arm area. But when I was at the school I wondered if the parents would freak out, that I was wearing what they were wearing. The preschool I worked at lots of parents wearing designer brands. The parents think they are better than us, and own us because they are paying for private school. My petty self kind of doesn't mind wearing it in front of the haters. Or anyone trying to be in my financial business, who shouldn't be. IP: Logged |

I'm 5'2 and some clothes are too big on me, as well. I bought a few pairs of these comfortable trousers, like loose yoga pants, from the Stars Above brand at Target. I'm wearing them right now, but they're too long, so I start to trip all over them, unless I hike up the waist. IP: Logged |

I usually don't buy clothes from expensive brands, but I did have some yoga pants that my sister bought in two sizes, that had a logo on the side of one leg. I loved them, but can't remember the brand. I think they're in Kohls now (and too expensive for me). I wore them, until they started to fall apart.IP: Logged |

yeah i don't sew so i avoid anything i would need to hem etc i hate having to deal with annoying **** like hiking pants up i can't remember the last time i was in a target, years since anyone's dragged me into one someone else has to want me to go in one with/for them or i need zero other options don't like the lighting, lines, store music, looking for stuff, how many people have touched all of it (trying on clothes is really disgusting to me, how many people have done that before me? 🤢 i wouldn't put something on without washing it, i'd rather donate or toss or give away anything i dislike once it's bought and washed) the whole experience just sucks and is a waste of time that could be better spent doing nothing IP: Logged |

Oh, retrogrades! It had seemed like you should have water in your chart. If I remember correctly, you don’t have any water. Maybe, your AC is incorrect? On the other side, I think you have traits Venus AC. Do you pay attention to your own and other people appearance, Beauty? Venus 1st I know prefers more natural look. It’s not somebody who would put all the latest trends and bunch of makeup. She just looks put together most of the time. And appearance is important for her.I’ve been reminded about cats poll-over I wore 3 years ago many times. It seemed like it was kinda traumatizing for her lol I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I go through different periods. I could be more Virgo when I don’t like to be noticeable and prefer everything low-key. And I have times when I start to pay more attention to my appearance. I could enjoy shopping generally without attachment to a result. Not necessary clothes. IP: Logged |

That’s bad parents don’t have respect for teachers. I made a deal with many snobby people and/or people who think they own you because they pay you pennies. I had somebody tried to find out a brand of my sneakers at work, not because he liked it, but just to determine how well off I was. I worked with people who wore expensive designer brands. And I felt like a peasant at times. Also, I worked in the opposite conditions where I was discriminated because people got false impression I was doing too well. So I was over all of those. Everybody could think whatever the heck they wanted I could play along. “My petty self kind of doesn't mind wearing it in front of the haters. I could put random things what didn’t fit me at all. I cannot even recall much what I wore. My style is transforming so I’m not sure myself what I’m gonna be like tomorrow 🙂 I tried to put my two years old jeans with fashionable holes last week and they didn’t fit anymore😕 “I love collecting clothes, I really try to wear everything in my closet. Asc in Scorpio Venus in AriesMy natural hair color is light brown but I would always die it dark brown (almost black) and my brows too. I was obsessed with Angelina Jolie and was trying to channel her look 🙈 When she was ultra skinny, I was skinny. When she buffed up for Tomb Raider, I started to train like crazy to get stronger abs. I even started donating money to UNHCR, bc she was an ambassador. To me, back then, she embodied everything I wanted to be. Other trends: -Low-rise jeans with flared leg -Cropped tanktops and t-shirts from the kids section, so they’d fit extra small -studded belts -midi skirts with strappy sandals or mini skirts with knee high boots -fake fur and fuzzy jackets -I was also over-lining my lips, so that they appeared bigger I wanted to have tattoos so badly, but my parents wouldn’t allow, and I was not bad enough to get them anyways … lucky me.. bc back then I was eyeing a large tramp stamp and a dragon tattoo on my shoulder, similar to the one that Angelina had. Luckily I didn’t get any of them.

I hate to complain. I work in one of the wealthiest parts of the state. My Libra w/ Scorpio Venus work bestie has shared horror stories with me before the school year even started. .parents are mad that they can come into the school again, after not being able to come in for 2 years, because that means that they have to pack their child's back pack now, when we would do it for them in peak covid times. .a parent is mad that their child has to wear their own back pack, and that 2 teachers are not pack mules for every single child in that class. .a parent is mad that the entire school does not have a massive gate for the entire school/church grounds since their child runs away constantly. When my friend said this school might not be a good fit for their child, she accused the teacher of judging her child unfairly. Sometimes parents get mad if teachers have nice bags/cars, and costs go up. Some teachers have rich families/husbands. You kind of have to afford being a teacher. lol That is so cringe that someone is so in your business about your sneakers to determine how they should be treating you. I like to try to shop different places and keep my old clothes until they are unwearable(holes, stains, elastic goes) and see what kind of outfits I come up with. I got a new top at Francesca's that goes perfect with a skirt I got about 3 years ago. Seeing my cocktail dresses just sit in my closet drives me crazy. I can usually get a second wear out of them if I go to a 5 star steak house. I'm kind of ready for fall just because I'm sick of seeing my long sleeve dresses and tops just sitting. I know what you mean, I wore a black sweater dress to go shopping with husband last weekend and we went into Bass Pro Shop first, and the lady trying to talk us into a time share was all "you're all dressed up" and wearing dresses a lot in general seems to trigger other women for some reason. I know all about weight fluctuation. That's how I became more of a feminine dresser. Because if I gain or loose 5 pounds they dresses and skirts are least impacted by that. IP: Logged |

@Stawr, it seems to me that you encounter quite a bit of jealousy. I don’t like it when women see a beautiful woman and decide to be mean to her for no other reason than that. It’s objectification, and I can’t understand how one woman could do that to another. They’re so stuck in the system that they can no longer see their own worth apart from being attractive. Like that’s the only thing that matters to being a woman. It’s really sad. These women become very nasty when they grow older.I wonder what the astrological markers of that would be. A challenged Venus? In Scorpio/Capricorn, square Ascendant/Pluto and challenging the 2nd house ruler? IP: Logged |

It seems some people think they need to point what they think is wrong with you. I went shopping and a woman trying to sell me a sitting started to talk politics. I showed her I didn’t want to talk about it. And she stopped to pretend friendly and helpful and refused to sell me a chair. She said it cannot be sold alone when their site clearly stated it was a single piece and it had a separate price tag. WTH I cannot even shop anymore without being unaccepted of my differences. And I didn’t express my views, just didn’t want to talk about it, that’s it. I feel like people are looking for a reason to discriminate. I didn’t even work here! I thought it was a workplace issue. I cannot get much into feminine dressing. Sometimes,I feel more vulnerable when I’m too on my feminine side. But I like shoes, bags, sometimes colors. I hope I get to the point when my body would be more suitable for my Virgo standards in this lifetime. On the other side, I need to enjoy life a little. I went through the phase where I couldn’t eat anything. And I don’t want to go through it again. I learnt to accept my fluctuations. But I was too lazy last half of year, I need to go back on track. I don’t think Ive been in a steak house. I usually prefer healthy oriented places or different nationalities cuisines (something interesting). And people are usually not dressy in those places. I’ve wondered where people wear cocktail dresses. In one of my schools, there was a girl who wore cocktail dress for the finals. I don’t remember her sign, but she could be pretty weird and really didn’t care how she came across, Aqua style. I think many weren’t surprised much she came like that. It’s pretty unfair parents pay more to expect to demand more, but all money are staying on the top and teachers don’t get much. “Sometimes parents get mad if teachers have nice bags/cars, and costs go up. Some teachers have rich families/husbands. You kind of have to afford being a teacher. lol” I know a Libra teacher who got a big condo after divorce. She has been struggling to support it, but she still doesn’t want to get a smaller and cheaper place. Also, she manages to go for vacations more than once per year. And she is a part time teacher. I don’t know how she makes it, but I look at her as hope I also would be able to make it having part time jobs always. I think I could make not a bad teacher. I didn’t try this occupation yet. Maybe, I did… I still don’t know what I want to do when I grow up lol IP: Logged | |
