Like that’s the only thing that matters to being a woman. It’s really sad. These women become very nasty when they grow older.

I wonder what the astrological markers of that would be. A challenged Venus? In Scorpio/Capricorn, square Ascendant/Pluto and challenging the 2nd house ruler?

Right! My Scorpio moon see's through it. I understand being competitive with my Aries Sun. Like when someone goes out of their way to tell me that I suck. I'm thinking ???? do you really think that makes you look good/prettier/better than me??????

The guy before my husband I totally got vibes from his aunt (who just happens to be a Gemini, I typically vibe with Gemini's) that she was bitter about being a middle aged woman. The more pieces of information I got, and her nasty rude behavior towards me.
I saw a picture of her from the late 80's early 90's. Totally smoking hot. I guess she has thyroid issues or something. Like yeah you can't really expect to look 20 something when you just hit 40 that's just life, and people should come to peace with it. Society makes it challenging of course. While she has an average American body, she is probably considered overweight. Whatever.
I thought Madonna was cool in the late 90's the early 2000's she had some real bangers like "Hey Mr. DJ, Beautiful Stranger, Hollywood." She seemed so hip, in charge, has fun and does whatever she wants. I looked up to her. So when I realized she was older than my mom I blurted out in front of her. "Wow, she's old."
And this dumpy beeotch blurted out to me "you'll be old someday too" She sounded so bitter and hateful. But I was like: okay noted. I know what's up your behind with me now. I wasn't saying it to be mean. I was saying it like wow I can't believe she's in her 50's! She seems like she's in her 30's. But being old is certainly a touchy subject for her.
Also I think I triggered her because she got pregnant right out of HS. She was sleeping around with a guy who already had a family. (idk the details if he was still married at the time) The guy was not giving her the commitment she wanted. She stopped taking her birth control, and got pregnant. Obviously this did not work the guy did not commit to her. She also does not seem like the type to earn things. Inherited her parent's house. Got a job through her sister. I think seeing someone who comes across as proper(I really do lol) in their early mid 20's no kids holding them back, with their whole life ahead of them was triggering.

I do have Venus(Pisces) squared ascendant(Gemini) I sometimes wonder if this is an influence of me being attractive w/o being 100% conventionally attractive?

I have Jupiter in the second house and it opposes my 8th house Uranus.

Scorpio and Capricorn is very active in my chart.

Venus 1st I know prefers more natural look. It’s not somebody who would put all the latest trends and bunch of makeup. She just looks put together most of the time. And appearance is important for her.

I’ve been reminded about cats poll-over I wore 3 years ago many times. It seemed like it was kinda traumatizing for her lol I don’t know what’s wrong with it.

I go through different periods. I could be more Virgo when I don’t like to be noticeable and prefer everything low-key. And I have times when I start to pay more attention to my appearance.
I could enjoy shopping generally without attachment to a result. Not necessary clothes.

no water placements in tropical, no, other than my midheaven and jupiter (which has no inner planet aspects)

my birthtime was from my birth certificate, and a reasonable mistake time wise would still place it in libra i'm pretty sure since it falls pretty much right in the middle of the sign

my ascendant is pretty highly aspected conjunct venus/south node, opposite moon, square mars, sextile mercury, and sextile uranus and in placidus my first house also contains pluto (in scorpio) so there's a whole mess of energy there which might be part of it

i pay attention in the sense that i notice, but it's not something i see as very important

i appreciate beauty but i think probably as much as anyone else might at an average level

i'm not like a slob or anything, my clothes always fit right and are clean etc and i groom myself like that sort of thing, exercise at least a bit on every day that i can (with the chronic pain and stuff sometimes that's just impossible) and make sure i don't eat like absolute garbage all the time etc that sort of thing

think i've posted me before... could again, can't remember which website actually works for that now though

shopping for anything in a store is just awful for me, feels claustrophobic

I know what you mean, I wore a black sweater dress to go shopping with husband last weekend and we went into Bass Pro Shop first, and the lady trying to talk us into a time share was all "you're all dressed up" and wearing dresses a lot in general seems to trigger other women for some reason.

It seems some people think they need to point what they think is wrong with you.
I went shopping and a woman trying to sell me a sitting started to talk politics. I just showed her I didn’t want to talk about it. And she stopped to pretend friendly and helpful and refused to sell me a chair. She said it cannot be sold alone when their site clearly stated it was a single piece and it had a separate price tag.
It wasn’t even about pandemic, a different completely unrelated to daily routine subject. WTH I cannot even shop anymore without being unaccepted of my differences. And I didn’t express my views, just didn’t want to talk about it, that’s it. I feel like people are looking for a reason to discriminate. I didn’t even work here! I thought it was a workplace issue.

I cannot get into feminine dressing. I feel more vulnerable when I’m too much on my feminine side. But I like shoes, bags, sometimes colors.
I hope I get to the point when my body would be more suitable for my Virgo standards in this lifetime. On the other side, I need to enjoy life a little. I went through the phase where I couldn’t eat anything. And I don’t want to go through it again.
I learnt to accept my fluctuations. But I was too lazy last half of year, I need to go back on track.

I don’t think Ive been in a steak house. I usually prefer healthy oriented places or different nationalities cuisines (something interesting). And people are usually not dressy in those places. I’ve wondered where people wear cocktail dresses.
In one of my schools, there was a girl who wore cocktail dress for the finals. I don’t remember her sign, but she could be pretty weird and really didn’t care how she came across, Aqua style. I think many weren’t surprised much she came like that.

It’s pretty unfair parents pay more to expect to demand more, but all money are staying on the top and teachers don’t get much.

“Sometimes parents get mad if teachers have nice bags/cars, and costs go up. Some teachers have rich families/husbands. You kind of have to afford being a teacher. lol”
I know a Libra teacher who got a big condo after divorce. She has been struggling to support it, but she still doesn’t want to get a smaller and cheaper place. Also, she manages to go for vacations more than once per year. And she is a part time teacher. I don’t know how she makes it, but I look at her as hope I also would be able to make it having part time jobs always.
I think I could make not a bad teacher. I didn’t try this occupation yet. Maybe, I did… I still don’t know what I want to do when I grow up lol

[/B][/QUOTE]

Ugh yeah so primitive! There was a whole topic about it on reddit. "I don't know how you're wearing those shoes" "who are you dressed up for"
Like how hard is it to say "nice dress" "I like your dress" instead? Because it's not a compliment, they are trying to get away with saying "who do you think you are?"

Woh that's bizarre about the sales lady, especially since you took the high road. I'm finally at a point where I don't smile and nod if someone goes on a Christianity rant. Like my mom's friends. If they want to get on their soap box, I just start looking at my phone.

LOL when parents say they pay good money to send their kids to school here I want to say "I don't get any of it."

Shoes and bags eh? That reminds me of my Libra sister. Her husband got her a Louis Viton purse. And my sister said to me, I need to get new shoes to go with this purse.

Wow that's interesting that she can do that! The new director at my job was at a crossroads about leaving the field once her youngest turned 18, when the child support ends.

Keep us posted if you go into teaching! I couldn't 100% leave yet. I should email the director soon about the next time I'll be back.

my ex's mother was really vicious and like that, bunch of plastic surgery and just constantly picking at everyone else's experience, also a gemini sun (in tropical anyway) she wasn't ugly or anything, looked good for her age 'til her facelift (was a little off afterwards) and had a really hard time with aging.

though that being said i don't think people can actually tell age accurately based on appearance because people age so differently. at 36 people always think i'm much younger though when i look at myself i see i've gotten older. just a few years ago i had this woman at my job who was really mean to me until she found out my age, turns out her treating me as if i was an idiot child came partially from her thinking i was 19 (she told me she thought i was idk why though that was just... no) and the other part of the equation is she was just kind of a ***** (i used to stay late to help this one woman avoid her because she was so mean to her, this was a nursing home and one of the residents who was honestly a really funny nice lady)

it's every time i get id'd or something too or when way younger guys hit on me (which i find a bit uncomfortable, i'm really not into younger guys, only comfortable being with people around my age like that)

have a friend in her 40's who does look 20's too

i think being short is part of it, people tend to no matter how old someone gets infantilize really short people

in my 20's i'd go to doctor's appointments with my ex and get asked if i was with my guardian

people have this idea of what a certain age looks like and it's usually pretty inaccurate i think, so i never even try to guess because people can be so different

that all being said i personally don't think someone looks bad just because they're older and look their age, people can still be attractive (of course there's like a certain point of old where that's not a thing, but then you have people who still look pleasant and not ugly just old and so it's not like attractive it's a more sterile kind of pleasant) it's all just a matter of how things go

do have a friend who is not only really pretty but looks like she's in her "20's" in her 40's and my mother was the same, so it definitely does happen

i had a friend recently tell me it was something like 70+ percent of americans are overweight or obese and i was pretty shocked by the number but sure enough... so yes average is overweight or even obese (something like 40% obese and then similar for overweight bmi) so having a normal or underweight bmi isn't average by any means

can tell when you buy clothes too, or maybe you can't because of the age gap 🤔

when i was younger it was a lot easier to find smaller sizes and the sizing was different (clothes run bigger now) now it's pretty hard

my bmi is in the healthy range but i wouldn't say i was thin so yeah... definitely a change

i just need to learn to sew or some **** then i could skip stores and annoying issues with clothes

First picture on the left, the camo pants— I still have a pair, cut off into shorts when they wore out at the knees. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a pair of white sneakers though. Shoe shopping is my least favorite thing; I’ve been ordering the same mens size 8 boots for over a decade (no pointy toes). Loose-fitting mens pants and a tank top have been part of my wardrobe since the late 90s, I guess. Wider-than-average shoulders and arm muscles= no cap sleeves ever, but I think I look good in halter tops/ backless dresses. As far as colors go, I tend to avoid most shades of yellow and orange, and definitely prefer solid colors to prints.

looking young is double edge sword. The younger men hitting on people was one I hadn't thought about! Yeah it's frustrating have people talk to me like a child.

A guy at a party guessed I was 29. I wanted to cry! Because before that I usually got mid/early 20 guesses. I'm 32. But I've been getting ID a lot lately. I use to not half the time.

I once had a co worker that I thought was my age at the time(27) and she was a GRANDMA!

Sometimes my friends post stuff like I look like a teenager! And I'm thinking I wouldn't post that cause while some may agree other's could disagree.

I think about getting plastic surgery sometimes. But then I think what if it looks too obvious I had work done?

There was a girl that's was conventionally prettier than me. Someone let me know when I didn't ask. lol And also the girl knew she was conventionally pretty, but was also diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder. She pretty much only had worth in her looks and her bedroom skills. If she fought with other girls she would say that their man wants to sleep with her and that she's prettier. Well she got work done and people react now like "WTF did she do to her face?!"

I agree that just because someone's older doesn't mean they look bad.

yeah the downtalking sucks, i see it more like i get to see who they are than something personal

29 isnt bad, but i get it's weird when it's not what you're used to

i think me not wearing make up probably adds to it because people see short + no make up and then don't pay attention or whatever idk

i always need id, im also always misplacing it so it's fun needing to ask someone else to pick me up something 😩

i just avoid guessing age just in case someone looks older or younger

i love unprompted weird criticisms, nothing more telling about another person than those

bpd tends to do that to people, because they have unstable relationships so sex can become their "value"

plastic surgery is creepy to me and if it goes wrong or looks too uncanny valley it just makes someone look off instead of better

i understand why people get it and im not against it or anything, but i find the idea of being cut open if it isnt an emergency terrifying anyway

i can't imagine subjecting myself to that, though i have my own insecurities i think everyone does

some people are happier for it and it goes well though too 🤷‍♀️

Your sister has a very generous husband. I wanted to say I felt like I needed to be a lawyer and went to the Emmy to wear those type of brands.(I’m currently not really into classy style and prefer to be more laid back). However, I saw a girl today in stretched leggings, crocs, dressed like she completely didn’t care and woke up like that, but with a Louis Vuitton purse. What looked out of place, but very elevated the whole picture. So I got that you apparently don’t need to go to a fancy place to wear very expensive bag.

It’s funny and sad in the same time. I worked for a person who made six figures and more. And she hired only part-time positions because she didn’t want to pay benefits. And much money was wasted for the expensive offices and locations to impress. She wouldn’t even compensate parking at those expensive locations.

Actually, I wanted to teach some of my skills, or knowledge, or yoga. I would prefer adults. I worked with children. I think you need much more patience with them. I wonder how you manage it with strong Aries and Scorpio.

Haha that sounds like something I would do. I certainly have my stretched out leggings and crocs days, with a nice bag. I finally got rid of some leggings that were not the best quality. Because a tomato slice fell on them and the stain did not come out in the wash. Currently have a genuine leather purse. But not a designer brand.

Ugh that is so gross that the 6 figure lady doesn't want to give people benefits.

Very cool. My sister considered being a College Professor in an area of expertise.

Teaching littles with my Aries Sun Scorpio moon. Well it definitely gives me energy and enthusiasm. But yes after a few years of teaching I could just give them the look sometimes. Teachers are pretty passionate too. And that combo gives me passionate energy. A lot of preschool teachers can be Aries. I feel like there is usually at least one. Once year I worked in a room where all the teachers were Aries. lol Aquarius seems to make good directors in this field. Oh and while Scorpio moons can be edgy, but kids and animals can feel safe around us.

I think part of it is my Leo IC conjunct SN I'm kind of just a big kid deep down inside.

Plus having Venus Pisces trine Jupiter Cancer gives me nurturing goddess vibes. lol

I could go on and on about my chart showing me being a preschool teacher.

There was a good description somewhere around about 1 st. house or AC Venus is being more about style, presentation than actually classical beauty appearance.
I could have my slobby days sometimes, but I would be afraid to have it in the presence of Venus 1st lol

I love leggings. It might be my favorite clothes. I buy what I like more than fashion and designer conscious. I bought a local made not expensive purse while traveling and people thought it was something expensive.
Well-known quality could be a good investment at times.

Pisces Venus trine Jupiter sounds pretty nice.
It’s awesome to be passionate about what you are doing and have people around to support your enthusiasm.
Usually, people around and especially co-workers are killing my enthusiasm.
