State your Venus and Ascendants signs too since i blame these two for your fashion sense.

I remember feeling really cool or hot in a lot of these 🤣 So embarressing. I can’t believe this was IN at some point in time. Thanks to my Leo Venus i could go a a bit overboard too with color and makeup🙈 while the Cancer in me i think loved those long skirts with a fat belt and a singlet.

Libra Rising - Taurus Venus

I wasn’t a teen in the 00s, but in my 20s so still influenced by the fashion of that period. No Uggs, low rise jeans, dress over pants or pencil thin brows for me. But I did occasionally wear boots over my jeans, I also had the extremely pointed toe boots, I was an active participant of the spaghetti top over t-shirt trend and had a couple of very wide belts.

These were good ones i forget some of these 🤣 I remember having a pair of those pointed boots myself in black they went all up to my knees i combined that with a short skirt and a hideous top. It was a top where you could clip on the arms and decide if you wanted arms or not. I looked like one of those girls you see on those ‘’streets’’

Corduroys were comfy, I liked them. I'm trying to remember what I liked. I wasn't a teen, I think I'm the same age as PlutoWasHere. I loved the whole long skirt, little top, Mary Janes with a thick heel look. I was comfortable and felt like a girl, and that pulled me out of wearing jeans or leggings all the time.

Your post reminded me of people talking about the character or Rory Gilmore, who hated most of the clothes that she wore. Others will pipe up, "That was the fashion at the time!"

Yes!!

Gemini Rising
Venus Pisces

I was age 9-19 in the early 2000's

I loved my old navy tech vest.
Backstreet Boys Tshirt
Shopping at Old Navy and Limited Too made me feel cool.
I had the scrunchy tube tops that could stretch out when you put them on.
The horrid low rise jeans that I had to keep pulling up and showed everyone my underwear.

When I got to middle school Pac Sun made me feel cool.
The Paul Frank T-shirts
Any clothes in general that had a monkey on them.

I'll edit and add more later.

Corduroys 🤣 I haven’t heard that word in years. Thank you for that Teasel 👍

LET’S NOT FORGET THE TV SHOWS

Thank you Teasel for reminding me.

These were some of my guilty pleasures from that time
7th heaven
Home and Away
Passions(Soap opera)
Gilmore girls

Horror was a big time thing for me too and all those teenage comedy movies like scary movie. There were more but i can’t remember all of them

Oh, I hated low-rise jeans!! Always trying to pull them up, and of course, I couldn't. I only had one pair.

I had this delicate little white top, with shimmering parts on it. Not over the top, just pretty. A little black denim vest that I wore with that, and a black skirt with small flowers on it. So pretty, simple, and comfortable.

It’s a cool topic.
Big platforms, but they’re still coming back sometimes.
Leather jackets - they also never left completely.

I wore it couple years ago 😅but oversize style.
I also liked corduroys.

Maybe, my style didn’t change as much from adulthood lol
I might be dressed up more classy and strictly in school times than later 😂
I couldn’t wear fan apparel because I liked to be a fan in a secret. I would say my style probably came from Virgo to Libra.

I also had very skinny eyebrows.

Uggs are in the past?! No way. I still see them around. Not that often as they were.

I see Modern fashion has constant comebacks from the past. I see many very shiny plastic like shoes this/ previous year. Also, I’ve heard flare and/ or bell bottoms jeans are back.

I would get lots of flak for this trend.
My mom would be like "Stawr you were pulling your pants up on stage!"

One of my friends joked "I didn't know you liked monkeys that much" when my limited too monkey undies were sticking out"

A boy at lunch told me "I should be a plumber when I grow up"

I'm sure "the thong song" didn't help matters.

I didn't get my first thong until I was 16 at VS.

Remember those stuffed wiener dogs you could get with purchases at VS? They were cute! My sister being college age at the time owned a few and what I'll always remember most was that her kitten liked to knock them over! <3

I remember not being able to walk around a girl in the hallway once, I had to see her butt crack and back acne.

Corduroy should always be in style in opinion and not treated at a trend! They are the warmest pants to wear in the winter time.

I had this problem recently. I hate belt shopping. I lost some weight, had some blue jeans on and showed another teacher my thong cleavage. I had no idea where any of my belts were since I was moving, and half my stuff is put away at father in laws. Another co-worker gave me some yarn to keep my pants up.

I'm having flashbacks to the boys with their boxers sticking out so much and a teacher giving him rope to keep his pants up since a girl kept tattling on him.

Those flower skirts are pretty! I had one with blue roses on it I think. My Leo Venus friend had one very similar. We would call each other and and decide to wear ours on the same day to school.

Seeing Uggs worn with mini skirts cringes me out. I never got into that. Uggs are so cozy in the fall, but as soon as it starts to snow they are useless. I would consider getting some in the future for fall. But only with skinny jeans or leggings. MAYBE tights. Or and it's probably important to mention I've only worn off brand uggs like Bearclaw, and Target.

I figure I'd add more in a new post.

Gemini rising
sqaure Venus Pisces
trine NN Aquarius
sextile SN Leo
trine MC Aquarius
sextile IC Leo

I LOVED the denim trends. I had a dark denim button dress.

I loved the Canadian tuxedo look too.

I always liked the matchy matchy look. So the jeans would have to be the same color. I couldn't do dark blue jeans and a light blue jean jacket together.

I also liked that pop punk/skater look of a T-shirt over some long sleeves. I kind of miss this style.

The camo trend was everywhere. I had a few camo tops with colors that would not be in camo. Like blue, and have rhinestones on it. I feel like this trend was very hip-hop at the time. I felt cute at the time, but I'm okay leaving this trend in the past.

I also really liked JLo around this time and was a big fashion inspiration for me. Glow by JLo was the first perfume I ever got.

Speaking of Jlo, I love hoop earrings BUT the fact that I always end up losing one and I have metal allergies. I just can't invest in them anymore.

I meant to add in the timeframe you mentioned, I was wearing a lot of yoga pants, with the slight flare at the calf, or loose, soft trousers like those I found in Target, the other night. Almost like pajamas, or yoga pants, but not. Also, the corduroys.

I still wear them, with little tops. I loved little soft jumpers, too. Still do.
