Hello! My first topic/post here is to ask the question, which might be slightly advanced, what is the relevance of combining sidereal and heliocentric zodiacs?

I have a few links to different multi-dimensional theories:
http://www.theholytwelve.co.uk/toolsandtechniques/entry/summary-of-interdimensional-techniques
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/002936.html

Even https://twitter.com/astrovisum/ has a VERY interesting 4-dimensional diagram of the 4 zodiacs, AKA HELIOCENTRIC, SIDEREAL, TROPICAL AND DRACONIC... All this will help piece together some coherent meaning for the heliocentric-sidereal zodiac.

Another past topic on this subject is this: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/234281.html

Reading by athenegoddess says: "It's the chart of your perfected self.. And if you have planets conjunct your natal chart that area is where you have qualities from a higher plane."

Heliocentric: Not relevant to natal astrology and its components (transits, progressions, etc). We don't live on the Sun, but on Earth. So heliocentrism is not relevant to the birth chart.

As to the rest, draconic theories are populated by bunk and unsubstantiated claims to antiquity. I've never seen cohesive, credible thinking surrounding it. See astrology scholar Chris Brennan.

It is better to fully understand one zodiac and work with its declinational dimension than to combine zodiacs. It is very advanced and most people cannot do it productively. In my rectification work I made use of the Indian/sidereal zodiac for some very hidden information helpful to rectification.

However, practitioners of sidereal cannot even agree on 0° Aries, varying as much as 4° from each other. So you can see that there is no clear-cut marker for siderealism. Not so with the Tropical zodiac, which is not a constellation zodiac, but an Earth-centered segmented zodiac created by cycles of the Sun in geocentric perspective. It is defined precisely by Sun's movements across the celestial equator (0° north/south declination).

Most of those combining and switching back and forth between zodiacs are largely engaging in superficial, sign-based astrology.

I use the sidereal zodiac in the process of achieving birth chart rectifications — but with the guidance of ancient Indian (Vedic) knowledge. I also only use it to the extent that I really know what I'm doing. I did not start using any sidereal elements until I'd been studying over two decades. I first came to near mastery of my specialty (birth chart rectification) before including planetary lokas as used in Vedic astrology.

Combining zodiacs or bouncing back and forth between them is not for beginners or intermediate level students or astrologers, and that's the bulk of them.

People in India train for years using the sidereal zodiac so they have a system in which they know how to operate. It isn't just a zodiac, but an entire system of accumulated knowledge to go with that zodiac.

My skeptical prior answer is a bit of realism so you hopefully go in with a balanced perspective. This is my 27th year of astrology study and I've seen all kinds of 'combination' approaches to astrology that are misleading due to their superficial perspective and gaps in knowledge (using a different zodiac to explain things readily apparent in the declinations, requiring no switch of zodiac). Jumping back and forth between (zodiac) systems is typically superficial astrology and a fishing expedition for finding what the astrologer is looking for — on a superficial level (sign-based).
