Oh I think you can always find something stellar in an astrological chart.

Thing is, my heart is not really in it.

Goodnight.

Did I mention that I have a day off tomorrow?

Well, my Venus IS in the 9th house. And he IS a foreigner...

BM,

Where was I? Oh yes. The one who may not be able to speak English.
60% of communication is non-verbal.

LMAO! Was that a suggestion?!

Well, Mr. BM is French, right? How did that work out? Did he speak English when you met him or did you have to "instruct" him?

Your Venus is in Taurus, right? I know we're both Scorpio ASC, but do you have anything in your chart that you indicate marriage to a foreigner?

mr bm speaks fluent English and did when I met him - not sure what on my chart would suggest marriage to a foreignor, or his, I'd have to think about it.

ROFL.

"Don't they always?" - EXACTLY what I thought.

Yes, meta, you are a sick, sick girl. And I love you - not necessarily for it - but because you're you - and you bring wonderful light into my life.

And you make me laugh out loud.

i am at work now, it is 6:30am, last night my daughter came in around 3:30am with a friend. i woke up and yelled at her, she doesn't live with me, she scared the **** out of me. she was drunker than a skunk. i went back to bed and she left my house and got into an accident. she is to graduate college tonight at 8pm. i am so upset. she messed her car up, so i got up ran to get her before the cops got there and took her friend home. took her home, passed out in my car seat, had mr cpn come help me get her car out of the way, so it didn't get towed. she blames me becasue she said i kicked her out, i did no such thing, any normal human would have woke up and yelled. and yet i feel responsible. i am so hurt, i hate drinking and driving. i beg her not to drink and drive, she has so much going for her. i am just so glad she is ok, other than a scraped up knee.so here i am at work looking like crap, no bra on sweatshirt and parachute pants. i feel like i failed her. i detest drinking and driving. my ex is in a wheelchiar from an accident thats core was drinking and driving, my other daughter almost lost her life in an accident,n ot drinking, but it is so scary to me. yes i was mad at her, but i didn't think she would compound the bad decisions by leaving. my heart is just sunk.

Oh cpn.

You know it's not your fault. Please don't take that on as your own. You can only guide someone - but the choices they make are their own. Please don't wear this one. Your reaction was perfectly understandable and you did not make her get behind the wheel of a car while she was intoxicated. You are right to detest drinking and driving - look at what it does - you've seen it. Seriously - she could have been hurt more than she was - and caused far more damage - property-wise and human wise. You didn't make her do that - so please don't take responsibility for it.

And if someone can pull off the sweats with no bra look first thing in the morning while having no sleep - it would be you. You could post a pic.

Though, you've got me thinking now. Bra-less and sweats. Why am I thinking bm?

I couldn't pull it off. Maybe about 20 years ago when my t1ts were quite fabulous.

thanks pa, i needed a kind word. sweats and no bra? yeah, not looking my best. 15 years ago i maybe could have pulled it off.
i was mad and yelled, but i didn't mean leave, i meant take your drunk butt upstairs to bed. raising kids gets pretty tough when they are grown. shoulda stuck with raising flowers. that is why i am so shook, thinking she could have been hurt. how could i ever live with that. my god.

Speaking as a parent, I think the only way that your kids ever understand why you feel and react the way you do is when they become parents themselves. Until then they'll try to hold you accountable for all their hardships. She'll get it in time. I'm glad that she wasn't seriously hurt. And I understand you being shook up. I'd be a wreck too. The worst goes through your head - but that didn't happen.

My father was a very heavy drinker and I often had to sit in the front passenger seat as a child and grab the wheel for us to stay on course while he was driving. I really understand about the drinking and driving.

Can you take the day off work and go home and get some rest - and give yourself time to process it?

I yell at my kids frequently - mostly to be heard above them over their fighting - and I feel like crap if I yell at them about the slightest thing or get angry with them for something stupid. It's part of parenting. We learn as we go along. I think sometimes they expect us to be perfect - and the truth is we're just as human as we are. Sometimes it helps to cut yourself the same slack that you would for someone else.

Hello baby! I can see that you are having a sh1t a$$ time of it right now. I'm sorry you're so down right now. I just want to tell you a few things....

Number 1. I love you.

Number 2. You are human. You did what anyone else would have done so forgive yourself right now.

Number 3. If spunky were in your shoes scenario....

Spunky wakes in fright at the sound of intruder & grabs her security blanket from under the bed (baseball bat) & tiptoes out to smack the f*cker over the head only to discover the fruit of her loins in a pile on the floor with head caved in....Spunky is then filled with deep remorse at all that blood on her expensive carpet & makes a mental note to indulge in some good old fashioned nagging at offspring as soon as the concussion has worn off. See how much better you are than me as a parent? As for the drink driving, well, you ran in to save the day & I would have called the police to teach them a lesson. Spunky is a hard mother trucker baby & you are supermom!
