Let's talk about sex, baby.

What's the deal with condoms?

I dunno what its like for a woman, but if a man's experience counts for anything (and it doesn't), its like eating an expensive, gourmet meal with a freakin' balloon on your tongue; pointless. Frankly, when I want sex, what I want is to feel a woman's who-who on my wah-wah. That's sex. Bumping around with a condom on is not sex. It's punishment. It's mild torture, designed to frustrate and depress. It bears almost no resemblence to the experience a man naturally craves every day of his life. Nature offers so few genuine consolations to a man. One of the only true consolations in a man's life is the sensation he can only experience through direct contact with a woman (not a piece of latex). As far as I'm concerned, a woman who insists on condoms may as well not even have a who-who. She can have a wah-wah between her legs, for all the good it does me. What's the use of a who-who if you cant even feel it caressing your wah-wah? Its a mirage. It looks good.. but as you approach it, suddenly, a latex hood blinds and chokes you, and you never reach the oasis, or taste the life-giving waters. What kind of cruel slight-of-hand is this?

Can I get an "Amen"???

Condoms are used for 2 reasons - protection against STDs and as a contraceptive method.
If there are absolute guaranties against those two(both partners have been tested, they are using contraceptive pills or some other method), then condoms are not necessary.

I personally don't like them and agree with what you said about the direct contact being the best.

Sorry, Libra Moon

There are no absolute guarantees with those things. Not everything can be tested for, and probably only a medical operation can ensure that you won't get pregnant. Not even condoms are absolutely fool-proof. Deep down, your Libra Moon knows this, and shys away from the notion of absolutes.

I have to agree with the first post. Of course, condom sex is still better than no sex.

You have to be careful, and do what you can to be safe, but using a condom is like jumping out of a plane two feet off the ground and calling it "sky-diving". Hey, at least its safe.

I'm not so sure, AG.

But, then,
you know how Scorpios are.

All or nothing.

public safety announcement

I can't remember what sex with a condom is like but as a teenager under the dawn of AIDS, no-one would have dared do otherwise.

Friend of mine offered to wrap it up but the lady in question laughed and said, "not at my age, dear..."

It's an annoying habit I know, which bit did you mean? I was just playing around with words more than self-censoring.

Never say I'm not romantic.

Kids these days... seem to have slackened off with the risk assessment. I think it was something along those lines.

I think we reached some common consensus. Maybe?

Bar pick-up => condom

Relationship => alternative arrangement

The cat just licked the butter of my toast. Now I'm going to have to put more butter on it. The toast, not the cat.

Sounds good to me.

I'm not really the bar type.

Not that there's a bar type,
but, its just not my scene.

Almost every partner I've had
has been a steady girlfriend.

It's best not to think about where her tongue has been.

She was snipped by the cat rescue, before anyone asks. She has had kittens. Too young, it caused her some problems.

She's my best pal. No-one else would get to share my buttery toast.
