Ha! You gals run out of steam already? Lol!Anyway, I found my new project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaAtkDCPbeM Can't seem the find the sheet music for this particular rendition anywhere. Either I am going have to do this by ear or e-mail Hiro from Eminence orchestra to request one. So beautiful... __________________ IP: Logged |

Yeah, we ran out of steam. Too many people telling us we were airheads, too much insinuation that Godzala was a clique (WRONG!), too much unecessary moderation/censorship, imho.It tends to kill the spirit no? Where is everyone now? I guess they got what they wanted. Did I say that out loud? Doesn't matter, ain't nobody round to read it anyhoo. *add PMT to the list of things that suck today*

When I roomed in culinary college one of my housemates had a ninja cat: I often came home late from work to a darkened house. The rowhouse we lived in was one of those old doublewides in the city with a very narrow corkscrew staircase. This ninja cat from hell [very like a russian blue if you know them] Would lie in wait ready to fly-pounce as soon as I reached the top of the stairs, claws at full ready and attach itself like a vampire tick to my upper thigh. aaaaak! The cat disappeared and never returned one day. My roomies swore- with a wink, that I had sold it to the Taiwanese shop down the corner. just sayin'

Heh, heh.I am allergic to cats, but I adore them. So, my cure for this is to have outdoor cats. At my last house, I had a tabby named "church." So, I fed her once, and you what happens after that. Well, I bought cat food, and kept feeding her, then I sorta forgot about it. One night I was in my room, UPSTAIRS. I was getting undressed for bed, and all of a sudden, there was this yowling cat attached to my window screen, with glowing yellow eyes. Scared the beejesus outta me. I went downstairs, and cut up a hot dog and put out some milk. I guess she decided that was the proper mode of communication from there on out, because everytime she wanted something, there she would be, bat-cat, stuck to my window screen. I loved that crazy cat. IP: Logged |

Crazy cats...My roommate introduced her cat as having these allergy issues that meant that she had to keep the proteins constantly changing. I was skeptical, so when the cat wasn't eating whatever terrible food it was at the moment and I was babysitting her, I started feeding her whatever protein I was eating. I tried to feed her every time I ate, too, because she was withering away. She loved pretty much everything. She even ate refriend beans the first time it was offered. She had no adverse reaction to ANYTHING. No puking. No diarhea. I don't really like the idea of taking care of pets, but somehow my instincts are generally correct. My roommate now feeds the cat lunch meat essentially (in addition to her dry food, some prescription drug, and omega oil supplements). IP: Logged |

I miss my cat Miso Soup, she's in Florida at my family's house, running around on 5 acres in kitty Shambala. I've had a few dreams about her lately, the other night she seemed to walk into a scene in the my dream, out of the blue, and meowed loudly, demanding to be picked up. Just as she really does IP: Logged |

OK - explain to a relative newbie what Godzala is all about, and why it's called Godzala, and why is seems to have created some discord?IP: Logged |

godzala was about whatever you wanted it to be. mostly women and men bonding over raunchy jokes and pictures of hot celebrities, with a mix of helping each other through lifes foibles. it was a fun place to bond and laugh and get over some of the seriousness of life. it caused discord because some people found it offensive and felt it was clique and then they started censoring it heavily so it really wasn't fun anymore. thats pretty much it in a nutshell. the name came from our hero zala and any variation of it worked. take care.IP: Logged |

It's too bad that we don't feel free to congregate here as we used to. I guess there's a time, for all things, to move on, whether you wish to or not..... AG, MVM, WOC, Node, cpn, fleur, deux, gyps and most of all PA, spunks and meta IP: Logged |

is there some reason for giving in to the censors? where is it written that godzala has to fold? especially since many of its critics hardly come here anymore??i never participated much but i did have a laugh from these pages more than once!! i think PA's being busy has a lot to do with the lack of action...or is she just being polite? the whole thing when it blew up kinda shocked the ones who gathered here. it just isn't the same. i was pretty mad about it for awhile as it was a regular part of my life, the censoring was a real drag, and overall, it just isn't fun anymore and i don't think could ever be the same. i don't think it has much to do with one person not being around, it was the group as a whole. no one meant to offend anyone, and you know how some people are, if they don't like the rules, they just skip the game. just one of those things. i will never forget the bonding, the laughs, the spontenaiety, but thats the thing about spontenaiety, it doesn't much work with a bunch of rules and haters, it finds where it is welcome and flourishes there. much like wildflowers, they just grow where they may.

for the record, we never meant to make anyone feel unwelcome. it was for everyone who wished to join in. if anyone did not feel welcome, it was never any of our intent, i speak for myself and also for my friends, as i do know this for sure. nuff bout that, took me 6 months to get over it as it was.
