I'm not sure if this will make an appropriate contribution to the potluck.

Warning: this chocolate is not for the faint of heart. (I reckon it is best eaten in private and preferably with a partner.)

Hopefully, my Private Cherry won't cause this thread to be shipped back to SPITR.

Ahahahahahahahaha!!

Anyone ever seen the movie "Nowhere"? There's a scene that shows what you're getting at there, Deux...

It will be an long strange trip...I shall do some subliminal programming by only having Bob Dylan available for our musical listening enjoyment.

Wow, Abs, I didn't know you were goatgirl. Or maybe I just forgot.

Anyway, it fills my heart with such joy to see ya'll talk so kindly of Jwhop (after years of discord). I used to be accused of playing favorites by standing up for Jwhop and also accused of doing so since he and I share similar political leanings. I'm glad some of you can finally see him as he truly is. Jwhop is one of the most genuine people here. He is the epitome of awesome! Despite the political/ideological differences between two people, they can still meet in the middle and care for (and even adore) the person behind the mask. As I said, it just fills my heart with joy to see.

You know, Abs, your name could also be read another way--as in a dragonfly who works out and has a six-pack.

Jwhop is like Mr. Magoo as Scrooge. He plays the curmudgen well, but he's a big old softie...

Yeah, I figured that out when Kevin had cancer, and he posted on my thread supporting me. I made this post in GU apologizing to him for all the times I'd been nasty, and he didn't even remember it, however, he graciously accepted my apology.

I will NEVER forget that moment.

he always sends me sweet personal cards and stuff around the holidays and the one time i actually conversed with him on the phone was a total pleasure...and the times i didn't do my homework prior to taking him on in a political debate, well, lets just say, he could have been brutal with me for talking about things i wasn't fully knowledgeable about and he wasn't....because he enjoys conversing whether you argree with him or not..

at times he is prone to exaggeration, which being a fellow leo, i totally get a kick out of..and i kinda get i kick out of watching him and ag go at it too....although i can usually see both sides..

and actually his corner of the world has been quieter than the rest of ll for quite some time...which he says he likes...meh, i am not so sure!

Abs, Jwhop has a very thick skin (as do I). It doesn't affect him when he receives harsh criticism; nor does he hold grudges or even remember. I'm glad you and he now see eye-to-eye, as you are both exceptional people.

He's adorable. As much as I get frustrated with his politics, when it's not political, he's the sweetest of men. He has quite the following of ladies here!

Definately a life lesson learned by me is Jwhop... look beneath the surface.

ok toast to jwhops and lets move on.

toast.

he's the kind of guy that would let you have his sweatpants sunday morning to keep you from the walk of shame, leaving in your party dress from sat nite to get coffee..not that i have ever done that..

ok. glad we got that sorted..

What did the bartender say to the jumper cables when they walked into the bar?
OK you two - don't start anything.

What's the difference between chopped beef and pea soup?
Everyone can chop beef, but not everyone can pea soup!
