Teasel are you eating well..? You sound like you're missing out or overdoing some nutrients. Diet really has an effect on our emotions as well as our physical being. Lack of certain vitamins is linked to depression for example. There are lists out there of healthy foods to incorporate (I mean if you don't have allergies), here's one I found for you.Canola oil for frying, extra virgin olive oil for simple coating and dips/dressings. That's one thing to keep in mind, walnuts for omega3. Get a steamer basket for your veggies and don't fry em or boil directly. Get thee in the Sun as well for some Vitamin D, 15 minutes each day if you're fair, or maybe a few hrs if you're really dark, minus sunscreen. And then after that time you can put some on. Drink water, but not gallons at a time, you know what I mean.. OK I found more. But just think: Shop on the perimeter of the grocery store, think low fat dairy, lots of different colored fruits and veggies, whole grains, and lean cuts of meat if you're not vegetarian. Good dark chocolate (not the cheap stuff), and wine that's good too. Monounsaturated fats! Almonds, avocados! I know I sound like a mom but you'd be surprised how much of a role vitamins play in the body, it's a very intricate system and some people are sensitive, maybe people such as yourself, then you really have to take care how you treat yourself and what you eat. Will be thinking about you! I wanna say I had the dizzy thing too, you can build up your strength lil by lil, no over-exertion! IP: Logged |

Dear Teasel You have had the dizzy thing since I started LL .When I was very stressed,I had this, too. I ,still ,get it when I am very stressed. It is scary cuz you think you are gonna faint. I think it is stressed adrenals. They can be helped through diet and general stress reduction. That is my 2 cents ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. Teasel, get yourself some ginger asap. Either in chews from a natural foods store (they have them with crystalized sugar on them too, which are pretty good) or in capsule form. Ginger is like a miracle herb for nausea and stomach problems in general. It didnt come to mind when I read your other thread. Will dig up some info.... IP: Logged |

Just can't happen. Helps if youve got some Virgo in you, and work well under pressure. I did like it...certain aspects of it. But it's not something I wanted to make a career out of. Many artist end up bitter because they want to be creative and it's hard to in this line of work. It's not an easy medium to work with and completly different than working in regular ones you may be used to. You have to be in the game a long time, make a name for yourself and your work has to be superb to do what you want to do as an artist. Otherwise youre stuck having to put stupid **** on people and getting nothing for it. And that sucks. There's more I'd like to say, but wont. I respect the serious artists in the biz and the dues they've payed.
ok, you'v convinced me, no tat career for me, LOL ------------------ What happens on Venus stays on Venus -Nasa IP: Logged |

I`m an excellent gardner and I mostly share the bouquets with the elderly. The smile on their faces when they see fresh flowers just for them is so rewarding. At the end of the season, I donate plants to the garden club for $$ to beautify the village. It is all very selfish as I love to grow pretties and sharing is just fun. ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson IP: Logged |

Good habit is to use this good mantra"do it now, do it now, do it now" Great for productivity. procrastination is really my thing, but not so much any more. There are several chores i really have to do every day, plus shopping, budget, cleaning, kid stuff, hobbies, projects, exercise, phone calls, helping my grandparents, whatever... For instance, sometimes I look at the floor while on Lindaland, and just think I can vacuum it later, this thread is soooo interesting... BUT NO! "DO IT NOW" (I NLPeeed myself) LOL that sounded so weird. so anyway, I do it now! Get up, vacuum, then go back to what I was doing, we don't put of brushing our teeth (i hope), I remember my mind being like a drill sergeant when I had a lot on the go. be your own motivator, GET into the HABIT, DO IT NOW DO IT NOW DO IT NOW Brainwash yourself.

One good thing about habits is they become "normal" in about 3 weeks. I was eating a raw cabbage salad and thinking HOW delicious it was. Then,I thought ,"It has become the norm for me" That made me happy ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box.
