Remember that you are doing your best and that is what matters. If he needs to go, he needs to go. We cannot prevent nature from happening.
Do you have a friend nearby who can be there for you? You need someone to hug and TLC'ing you too. Thunder has gratefulness in his heart for you no matter what.

It`s such a learning curve for me to take blood and give his insulun injection. His sugar levels arn`t staying low enough but he can`t bottom out either so to date, it`s a catch 22. His patience with me is amazing So, in essence, he isn`t responding as well as hoped but some improvement is a positive sign. Expect a Miracle ! ------------------

I surely am Randall, I surely am He is stable and looking more interested in food, toys and begging for a walk to the mail box. He can`t yet because I don`t have a sled on hand to pull him back on if he collapses. I plan on getting one this week end. We`re slowly increasing his insulun by 2 units to slowly bring it into the 200 range. He`s been running 360-460 after being in the 500-600 range so something is working. Slow progress is better than no progress. I`m sure all the positives thoughts are bringing him along so thank you all for them ------------------

The Spirit is willing and the flesh is trying to catch up. I`m still increasing his insulun units . A very tricky process at best as he can`t go too low either. To date he has good days and some bumpy ones but his mental strength and big heart carries him through the bumps. Again, Thunder and I both thank you from the depts of out hearts. ------------------

Thunderbird update Since his diabetes is tumor induced, it has not acted typical and he has really had some off the chart glucose readings and the ill feeling related to high blood sugar levels. We put him on a fast acting insulin as well as the regular and he is having a fantastic remission. The insulin along with some good pain drugs, has given him back playfullness and a general feeling good attitude . It is a remission but we are so grateful to modern medicine ! Thank you all for the prayers and well wishs It has truely helped. ------------------
