I know being positive or grateful has been posted here before but sometimes the poop keeps stacking up and we forget that flowers grow best in that poop. Lets use lifes poopies to fertiize our positives and get growing! I am gratefull for all of you who listen and care enough to reply to others having a poopy day. I have read over and over the kindness and concern shown to each other. Many of you have brightened an otherwise awful day and turned it around for me. Thank you! ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

Last week I woke up to a perfectly horrid day. During the night our beloved Great Pyre Chloe had crossed over the rainbow bridge. A family friend had passed after a long suffering illness, a much needed , hard earned paycheck had still not arrived and frozen water pipes had me set for a serious Aquarian pity party. Even knowing what I send out boomarangs back tenfold wasn`t stopping me. I was worked up. Then I came on Lindaland and read Anon and teasel sharing good vibes and emotionally supporting another member . It broke my spell and I was able to sit back and look at the day from a clearer perspective. I thank them for breaking up my pity party and preventing my negativity from bounding back and biting my butt ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

Well I am barely able to keep from slipping under and drowning in the huge stinking cesspool of my life/world. Fraking dung beetles leaping all over too. Still waiting for that fraking blue bird of happiness to get his little twit asss over here and shite out all those seeds he ate. Then the magical gardens and forests will spring up around me and the great oaks lift me so my wings can dry off and I can fly.IP: Logged |

I have a little something to add, and it's actually in line with the title of the thread. I went out armed with toilet paper in my bag today, along with hand sanitizer, thinking I was going to Books-A-Million, where the soap bags are squished into the thing so much, that the soap won't come out. A couple of weeks ago, I was in Joann Fabrics in North Canton (I think), and when I rushed to their bathroom, and used it, I found that there was no paper in there. I had a little freak-out, tapped my hand underneath the wall of the stall next-door (but found nothing). I finally managed to take care of things, and after washing my hands, I took a stack of paper towels to the stall in which there was no paper. Yesterday, in Home Depot, I found myself in the same situation. I ended up finding some toilet seat covers, and grabbed a couple from the back and used those. Again, I washed my hands and took some paper towels back there. This afternoon, when I was choosing to leave my larger bag in the van whilst I went into Joann's in Fairlawn, I shoved some napkins into my little bag just in case, along with my camera. When I used the bathroom in there, I laughed out loud: not only was there some toilet paper sitting on top of the plastic holder, there were six brand new rolls on the floor. I figured I'd earned myself a little good karma, toilet paper-wise, and took a picture to document (after washing my hands). I'm grateful for the Gilmore Girls being available on DVD through the library, and that I was able to spend the late afternoons/early evenings, watching the first season with my mother. I'm grateful for the sunnier days, the lack of snow, Emily still being okay - and being a total food hound - as well as her actually bouncing towards me the other day. Last night, I felt happy, and decided to make a note of it while it lasted. I thought about making a list of everything I was grateful for where my parents were concerned, because I'm just that sentimental and nauseating, but figured I'd be there all night - and then my sister and I joked that I'd probably have them throwing up. I've gone two days with hardly any losing my food and rink. I don't know if it's because I started that supplement up again, that I was wary of, or if it's that I managed to eat and keep down a yogurt two nights in a row, just before falling asleep. If it was that simple, then I'll be annoyed, because I've been dealing with this for too long, and I accidentally messed up the milk kefir that my sister started to make right around Thanksgiving 2010, for me, with extra supposed to be going to the animals. It was a good week, for the most part - the latter part of the week was good, along with this weekend. Now I hope my Dad feels better tomorrow (he has a cold, but was kind enough to take us out). & for DIY ers -- this home-spun doggie doo composter is an excellent choice—and economical, too.All you’ll need is a shovel, a plastic garbage can or compost bin, some Septonic, and an unused corner of your backyard. IP: Logged |

Oh! I also saw the most beautiful cat up for adoption, in Petsmart. His name was Denver, and he was almost two - a Pisces. He was born three months before Teddy died, and looked liked a combination of Teddy and Elsie. He was huge and fluffy, and after seeing us over his shoulder, came down to get close to us, and then play.I took pictures of his adoption paper on the outside, and him from the back and side (he was playing). I'm afraid to bring him home, though. The virus should be gone by now, but a few areas still need to be thoroughly cleaned, and a large fan either needs to be cleaned or replaced with a new one. *edit. Oh, wait, I think he's an Aries! Juni, I'm sorry to hear why you were so upset. I wish I could have shown so much grace when I've been upset over the past year. IP: Logged |

I'm enjoying the poop talk. We met the most adorable pups in Petsmart today (don't let Emily know I said that ). Friendliest little pup named Vinnie, and a shy larger dog named Molly.

I wouldn`t exactly say my dog dying is the bluebird shiteing seeds of happiness... but it is an interesting visual .------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

Very happy to read an update from you teasel. I'd like to adopt a few more 4-leggeds over here, too, but need to at least reinforce the fence first. We'll see what happens. I think my little girl needs some more critter friends....not needs, but it would be nice for her, and them. Let us know if you get Denver and some pic, plz IP: Logged |
