hahaha ^^ For some reason I thought you knew it was me. Sorry - I should've let you know lol How have you been AG? It's nice to see you around LL again Aqua - It is uncanny how much this reminds me of this other Taurus Moon guy. I have also said I do not want to get married. And later - months into knowing him I mentioned that I wanted to have kids one day. He took this to mean I was 'changing my mind' or something - when I was NOT lol I still do not want to get married now - or tomorrow. I meant like 5-10 yrs from now I would like to have a family... hence saying "one day"... and I definitely do NOT want this with *him* personally.
I don't like this idea that apparently any girl who says she is not interested in something that serious... is trying to be "feminist of the year". I am simply being myself and being honest. quote: she was supposedly a single and independent girl but she fell for my commitment phobic act
You are basically saying that this girl *lied* in order to seem more independent than she is. A woman's maturity & independence should not be tied to - whether or not she wants a man in her life. I could be a very independent & strong person as a wife just like I can be a very independent and strong person - as a single woman. And other than supposedly flirting with you - how do you know she fell for your act? Did she ask you out on a date? Did she say she was romantically interested or that she wanted to be with you? Because flirting is just flirting ^. If she continued to stay single.... and she never actually said that she wanted to be with you - then I can't see what your act achieved there? Just because you *think* or *imagine* that had you asked her out - she would've said "yes"... that is not necessarily the reality of the situation. This likewise reminds me of Mr. Taurus Moon who seemed to think his immature crap meant that I was into him.. when in reality I wasn't. Sometimes people hugely misinterpret flirting to mean more than it does. :edit: & This is worth adding. Sometimes a person might be purely *sexually* interested in someone who is being a jerk (male or female). I've seen this happen many times.. It's a kink for some! But this does not mean that they are *seriously* interested or "in love". Sex is just sex. Maybe your act turned her on... but she would've never wanted relationship with you - other than a one-nighter for example (have you thought of this option?) quote: I want women to stop putting up with mens crap. I fully agree that men should respect women, but that's not gonna happen unless women stick up for themselves
OK - so sweetie... instead of running month-long experiments on people and hurting them, because (from your perspective) they have low self-esteem and won't stick up for themselves..... why don't you help them become stronger people? Because I can assure you - this behaviour of yours was not in any way - positive - in that girl's life. It was either neutral/meaningless or negative. IP: Logged |

HERE HERE!! I agree with you on your post, so many teenagers and even adults are bullied by their peers because they choose to alternative lifestyle outside of the norms of someone else HERE HERE! IP: Logged |

lol that's not all I'm going on, she made it very evident that she was interested in me .. and this was after I gave evidence that I was a scoundrel, not before. oh lordy I wasn't bashing independent women at all, I admire them actually, my point was that she suddenly wad interested in a guy who made it clear he was not good relationship material after she had claimed she wasn't interested in any guys.

Ok ^ SO... what about my point about being sexually interested? You didn't answer that. What if she was indeed interested in a purely sexual way because it turned her on that you were being a jerk? If that is the case ^ then she would not have wanted a relationship with you.. She would not have said "yes" to you asking her out (she may well have stayed 'single' and 'independent' as you put it).... but she may have said "yes" to sex-only. There is a difference between being in love and being sexually attracted. I actually don't know why you are so concerned about women falling for jerks.. because generally that is a purely sexual kink.. & it's only true for 'some' women (it does not apply to *all* by any means). It can also be a sexual kink for men to be with the femme fatale type. Hence books such as "Why men love bit*ches?". A majority of women will take other things into account when choosing a serious partner - such as: - personality - stability - income level - potential to be a good father etc. This has been documented and researched. There are many statistics out there regarding this. IP: Logged |

lol just trust me, I know she was interested in me.. I could tell by the way she looked at me and the stuff she said, she dropped major hints. plus her friend came up to me and told me I should ask her out because she is looking for a bf, if that's not evidence I don't know what is

Some have issues which make them go for someone toxic. I've seen plenty of women who were raised by distant, abusive, and/or toxic fathers who would only date those kinds of men, either because that was what was familiar (and perhaps mistook it for love) or because she was trying to work through past trauma. The most sad ones are those who hate the terrible men they hook up with and believe all men are that way but can't see that it's them who are insisting on being with those types of men.I've seen men with similar mommy issues, too. Like one boy I knew in school was raised by a lying, manipulative prostitute always breaking her promises and he believed all women were backstabbing ***** just like his mom...but that's the only kind he'd date. What was remarkable is that he rejected a friend of mine when she was interested in him (and said she was just another **** trying to screw him over) but when that same girl had a nervous breakdown and really DID become a backstabbing **** THEN he was suddenly all over her. Of course, like the women who think all men are like their dad, he believed all women were just like his mom, and not that it was him drawn to the type of women he despised. I find it morbidly fascinating to watch. And they can break the cycle but it takes real hard work within before they can be free of the spell they're under...and of course they've got to become lucid of what's going on inside them before they can even think to try.
