If you charge a monthly membership fee for the club, which meets at a different location other than your home, then you can have your members (friends) come over to tan anytime, and you are not breaking any business license or occupatinal tax ordinances or restrictions.IP: Logged |

That's a good idea, however I don't have any body oils or pictures to sell. I bought goggles for the customers to use and star tanning stickers for them to purchase. I found a really good deal for them too on Ebay.

You could make herbal tea or green tea and have some nice candles. I got my hair cut at a place that uses all organic products and it was so nice that they had really nice teas in a basket and little snacks. It gave a nice vibe to it.
They do sugar and natural waxing which I have to do next time. I was being such a baby about it, she told me to come back when she had more time but you could look into sugaring and natural waxing, too, as that would fit your business model.------------------

You got me thinking. You could make your owm really nice, natural scented oils with almond oil and then aid lavender etc, tie them with lavender ribbons and give them free, even. You could do the same thing with orange oil and tie them with orange ribbons. I think if you make the vibe really positive and filled with love, people will come. That is why LL is so popular, in my opinion, anyway.------------------

Maybe.. Sounds like a lot work. With the TB I only have to sanitize it. Also good luck with your Green House.

You should make people sign a form that removes you from any responsibility associated with the risks. Also, since you have set up a fb page and are advertising it to stranger, remember that you will be liable for taxes.For these reasons (and for the astronomical electrical bill you are going to get) I would charge much more than 4 dollars, and limit the amount of time someone can spend in the tanning bed. I'm just going to sell it... I agree with Sibyl. My friend made me realize that you only need 15-20 minutes of sun a day and you can get the vitamin D from vitamins... So its not worth risking the skin cancer (even though its really unlikely someone would get it)Another reason is because we were going to set it up in my garage but its taking a lot longer to clean it than I anticipated. It's not that its too messy (which it really is. lol) but my Dad said that we'd work on it but now he's taking on a lot more projects which is causing a delay. (like painting the inside of the house. putting extra shelves in his closet. changing the oil of the car. etc.) If I get a chance I'm going to take pictures and stick it on Ebay. That or I'll wait a reaallllyy long time then open up Rachel's Tanning Salon. Sorry for not responding sooner! ------------------
