Topic: Can I charge my sister to use my tanning bed?

Shes a ***** and half the time I don't like her. For my highschool graduation I got a tanning bed, which I wanted. So I'm wondering if I charge her just $2 for her and her friends every time they use it, I would be making money. I mean, its my item and I know sisters are supposed to share things but what do I need from her? The only thing I borrowed from her was clothes and ever since I gained weight I've been using only my own clothes. So what should I do? Also recently she charged me to make my bed and put the sheets and pillow cases on, etc. So I think its fair, right? ------------------

Also before you respond, I know the risks associated with sun tanning via tanning bed, so please leave that information elsewhere.

Thank you. My sister has been a peice of work for a while, so I actually think charging her is the best route to go. 
& we actually got it on sale, so owning a TB might not indicate that we are rich. But the electric bill on the other hand might be a lot, so idk. lol IP: Logged |

I think you should charge more than $2 because tanning beds use a lot of elec-trickery, not to mention maintenance costs like replacing bulbs. I'm not sure if I agree about charging your sister though. How about since you two are sisters and family you do nice stuff for each other for FREE--she doesn't charge you for putting your linens on your bed and you don't charge her to use your tanning bed? Just an idea. But by all means I think you should charge her friends. Maybe start a family business together or something, esp. since it sounds like she can recruit her friends and associates into being YOUR paying customers.

Yesterday my father and I put the TB in my garage... It weighed a ton.. Ooh so excited. Now we just need to clear out the extra stuff (my garage is a mess  )and then we're all set to go!  It may be a few months before I can get this started but I'll let you guys know more about it.
I wanted to create fliers but because its going to be at my house its illegal to do that. My parents said it needs to be at an office and I need to have a liscence. So I'm keeping it small. Don't want to go to jail.... Since now I'm old enough too !  IP: Logged |
