it becomes repetitive, but i'm not a fan of shows that go on a long time to begin with typically there comes a point where there's too much filler that being said i did appreciate that episode with lizzie... back in season 4, that could have easily been stand alone though and separate from the show altogether the characters i found likable/enjoyable were few and far between though a lot of movies and shows suffer from commercials, announcements, trailers etc giving away too much before anyone even watches them very rarely does the marketing leave room for surprises, hereditary being a major exception where the marketing made a huge part of the story into something completely unexpected IP: Logged |

They do a great job keeping storylines secret. They have made many differences from the graphic novel. IP: Logged |

Hi there...How are you?I watched the 1st episode last night! Wow, what was that! I know this actor Rick! I have seen him starring in a movie that I watch every Christmas! What a great scene was when he was driving to Atlanta on Highway 85 and he was talking on the CB and they heard him! And then to see that his friend Shane was trying to reach him without knowing that it was Rick on the other side! And then to see that his wife and son are alive! IP: Logged |

I loved the scene when he enters the city riding the horse on the Highway... Is this what you see when you enter Atlanta?...IP: Logged |

And what a scene when he turns around the corner and he sees all those disturbed people!!!I couldn't watch it when he fell off the horse and got under the tank! And then in the end when he loses all hope and then suddenly! He hears a voice talking to him on the CB! What a relief! IP: Logged |

Yes, and they closed down the highway in Atlanta to film that scene. The actor who plays Rick Grimes is from the movie Love Actually. That voice turns out to be from someone who becomes a very popular character on the show. You should take your time and watch the episodes in order. Each season ends with a cliffhanger. The first season is only 6 episodes.IP: Logged |

I really liked that scene. I liked the silence in it. And the view of the city.IP: Logged |

Why wasn't Rick in those last episodes from Season 9 that I saw some days ago? Isn't he the central character in all Seasons?IP: Logged |

Although the early seasons of the show are told from Rick’s viewpoint, there are several central characters later on. IP: Logged |

That last scene on the 2nd episode with Glenn driving out of the city on the Highway in that red Dodge screaming victoriously along with that electronic rock song playing was simply amazing! I watched it four or five times again and again and I was laughing out loud! IP: Logged |

Glenn is the best. I didn't like the show after Negan showed up. I don't watch the other shows, although I did start the one, when it premiered five years ago. A lot of things don't scare me, either. I find them predictable. One of my favourite movies that did creep me out a little bit, is The Orphanage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkuKtS-N1rM&ab_channel=MovieclipsClassicTrailers - it wasn't terrifying, but I like it. i liked the orphanage, had devil's backbone vibes so it was pretty clear why del toro backed it devil's backbone was good but pan's labyrinth was the better of the 2 spanish civil war movies del toro made my ex and i saw it (pan's labyrinth) in the theatre opening day by chance because nothing else was playing and we figured why not? so we had zero expectations along with everyone else in the theatre about the content since there was pretty much no marketing at that point (theatre in manhattan so test release type **** ) the woman who was sitting next to me spent about half the movie covering her eyes screaming and crying 🤣 not too long after that there ended up being so many spoilers and warnings with all the attention it got and i imagine that took away from the movie a little not knowing the movie would be like that made the rabbit hunter scene and everything that followed extremely surprising i found martyrs a bit stressful to watch, not scary, but almost frustrating with how tense it is, keeps you on edge wondering and then by the end you get where it's going but it's ****** and you were already invested the original anyway i heard the remake was **** it's gore but it's not like hostel or the devil's rejects or some other **** where it's just gore to be gore it really actually serves a purpose and is a huge part of the film's more philosophical points @Randall interesting to hear that about negan given what he did, unusual for a character to redeem themselves after something like that IP: Logged |

Only good writing can redeem such a character in a way that the viewer can identify with and believe in.IP: Logged |

I had such a wonderful Christmas time today...No lockdown can keep away your beloved family and your friends. I wish to all of you who haven't celebrated yet a very special Merry Christmas with lots of love...I have this friend of mine. We have known each other for almost 20 years. His wife left him and their little son because she wanted to live her life, so my friend raised his child by himself. This child is 19 years today and since I remember him he has always been cycling, as it has helped him fight diabetes with great success. This boy is a talent, he has won numerous medals, participates in national racings etc. Today my friend told me that he has been invited and accepted to the Talent Identification Camp of one of the best pro cycling teams in the world and that I should get myself ready, because we are all going with him in the summer.
