But I have seen women comment online that they would wear Rochas Moustache themselves if it wasn't called Moustache. Lol! A lot of people think it could be a unisex fragrance. I think it smells more masculine on me.IP: Logged |

From an artistic perspective, Lomani has a very aesthetic presentation. The juice is bluish and is reminiscent of the jars of barbicide that are ubiquitous in men's barbershops. It also has a very clean and soapy barbershop kind of smell to it.IP: Logged |

Aqua G.! I searched on the Internet to find out which painting of Van Dyck's became the inspiration for the cologne's name, but found nothing! Great! Because we are given the freedom to choose any of the several portraits the artist drew for King Charles I that could have served as an inspiration for "Moustache". Well, actually, you are the one who can best decide which portrait could have been because you know how the scent feels...IP: Logged |

This is so good. It is in the Louvre in Paris and although Charles I is being depicted here in a somewhat relaxed manner, I think the artist wants to remind us, actually in a rather pronounced way, of the King's power and sovereignty.IP: Logged |

I'm reading that the King was extremely short, no more than 1.5 meters, and quite sensitive about that, so Van Dyck had to camouflage this shortcoming of his, in a successful way, in order to please him.IP: Logged |

To me, he looks proud of himself here. It's as if he is saying, "Yeah, I know my cologne smells awesome."IP: Logged |

Moustache EDP smells so good. A pretty girl kept looking my way in the store and her boyfriend gave me a dirty look. I ordered another sample to hold me over until I get a big bottle later this month. I think it's safe to say Moustache will definitely be my signature scent from now on.IP: Logged |

The description on the sample package reads "An addictive oriental woody trail gives the Moustache Eau De Parfum its powerful, sensual character. " IP: Logged |

Thanks for the kind words. Saturn and Pluto have brought hard lessons and pain in love, but they also brought my love for deep and dark oriental scents. IP: Logged |

They have brought you lessons of endurance, patience, acceptance and belief that everything is going to be all right in the end. You have a sweet and gentle heart. Don't forget that even in your hardest times. Stand kind, strong and proud even when you are hurting and have no doubt that life will grant you all her gifts... And, of course, they have brought you this love for deep, dark, oriental scents. So many gifts and you hold them all in your hands...IP: Logged |

I remember before you mentioned Moonlight Patchouli. That is another one I still want to try soon. I really love the combination of rose and patchouli.IP: Logged |

Eternal Energy, Lately I'm realizing that I like pink pepper and cardamom in men's fragrances. Those notes are right up there with patchouli in sexiness. Pink pepper is prominent in Moustache EDP and it really adds to all the other great notes in the fragrance. La Nuit De L'Homme is the fragrance that got me loving cardamom. It is definitely in my top 5 favorite fragrances. There is a company called Dua that does clones of famous fragrances, and sometimes they combine two famous fragrances together to make something new. They made a combo of YSL Tuxedo and YSL La Nuit. I mentioned before that YSL Tuxedo is supposedly very similar to Moustache. So much so that many people claim that Moustache EDP was meant to be a cheaper clone of Tuxedo. The idea of smelling a combination of Moustache and La Nuit is intriguing. Imagine that rose and patchouli mixed with that cardamom. Wow. I bet that fragrance is incredible. It's called Midnight Rendezvous in a Tux. It must be devastatingly sensual.IP: Logged |

Aren't those red berries amazing? They add that spicy tone, not with that characteristic sharpness of black pepper, but in a rather mysterious way. I love pink pepper so much that I use it all the time in my cooking. IP: Logged |
