I just got a heck of a deal! I got a Paul Sebastian giftset for $30 at Belk. It was part of their father's day specials.IP: Logged |

I have been wearing Paul Sebastian a lot. It smells so good. I ordered samples of Invasion Barbare and Cerutti 1881. I also ordered a bottle of the original Bogart by Jacques Bogart. Can't wait to get it all.IP: Logged |

Years ago. You put it back on my radar. My tastes have changed over the years and I think I like it more than Obsession now. It's a more beefed up version of Obsession to my nose. They share a lot of notes in common and both have the same cinnamony warmth. The difference is PS's emphasis on floral notes that gives it that extra richness. It also has an animalic vibe when combined with my skin chemistry.IP: Logged |

Invasion Barbare is incredible! It's the best and most unique men's fragrance I have ever smelled. The only problem is you have to shell out over $200 to get a full bottle. Luckily, Dua has a clone called Invasion of the Barbers that is supposed to be almost identical to it. It has really high reviews across the board. I'm going to buy Dua's version next and compare them. If it's anything like Invasion Barbare it's worth buying and wearing.IP: Logged |

I also got samples of Mason Margiela's At the Barbers. The smell reminds me of going to the old fashioned barbershops I went to in my childhood. I love it! It's nothing like Invasion Barbere though. It's like barbershop heaven.IP: Logged |

Invasion Barbare has cardamom , which gives it a creaminess that makes it stand out among barbershop scents. It's like a rich and sweet shaving cream.IP: Logged |

Oh man... I got Bogart Signature today and it is a complete dud for me. It has this awful pickled pepper smell that is so off putting to my nose.IP: Logged |

I'm waiting on Zino Davidoff and Authenticity's Barbershop now. I've also got a bottle of Dua's Invasion of the Barbers on the way. The Dua fragrance is a clone of Invasion Barbare which is one that I sampled and loved. The only problem is the original is over $200. Dua's version is supposed to smell almost identical but only costs $60. I’m excited to see if it lives up to the hype. It's been fun to try so many different fragrances, even the duds like Bogart.IP: Logged |

Yes. I think it's the combo of rosemary and the other green notes without any sweeter notes for contrast. It's very one dimensional. There's no sweetness at all. It's just dark green earthiness. Mind you, I'm not saying a scent has to be sweet. I love Polo Green for example and nobody would describe that as sweet. But it has just enough sweetness to offset the more harsh stuff. Bogart is Polo without the tobacco in the base and floral notes in the middle to give it that sweet touch. IP: Logged |

It's true! All the reviews I read and watched said that Dua's Invasion of the Barbers is just as good as Invasion Barbare and it is! I just got it today. I can't wait to try their other clones.IP: Logged |

Wow. Loving Zino Davidoff. It's woody patchouli goodness. I layer it with Calvin Klein Obsession and they smell great together. I noticed that women at work were friendlier with me at work when I wore that combo with my beard oil that is a mix of patchouli, teak wood, and vanilla.IP: Logged |

Randall, I have been wearing Paul Sebastian a lot lately. It's one that women seem to like. I notice that women stand closer to me when I wear that one like they do when I wear Obsession. It's unmistakable and funny. LolIP: Logged |

People keep saying that vintage Paul Sebastian is way better and bottles of it aren't that expensive online. I might have to try buying a vintage bottle to compare.IP: Logged |

I ordered samples of Jovoy Psychedelique and Tiziana Terenzi Ursa. I've been reading a lot about how these two are some of the best patchouli fragrances out there. If they are as good as people say they are I will definitely have to buy full bottles.IP: Logged |
