Since I have never been trained in debate I thought I should look it up.

actaully jwhops has a point, viable human life...is life....many 3rd trimester ab's have viable human life, as i see kids, albeit, mostly with medical problems, born at early gestation in my line of work all the time.

I am not against abortion or choice, nor am i against or for the death penalty. as repeat habitual violent offenders ARE a waste of air and food, but I don't want to be the one pulling the plug, so kill em', but don't put the blood on my hands.

obviously no.

shall we not respect their human life? 2 options possible:

yes or no

yes we should respect their humanity because we are different from them.

no we should execute them because we haven't faith in our own humanity

no option to not be involved here, not choosing is already a choice.

spoken like a true...MAN. who has never taken the pill AND used condoms only to find himself pregnant. or delivered an IUD in the labour room right before the baby came out!

no birth control is foolproof. and every single one of them has that warning written all over it, or in the pamphlet discussing its pros and cons. my mom was the first person i ever heard say (many times!) "abstinence is the only 100% method of birth control."

so, responsible people DEFINITELY DO get pregnant. but abortion for "CHOICE' SAKE" can and should be done WAY before the fetus is viable.

i am not arguing that just anyone should be able to have an abortion in the third trimester. and i don't think many people would even consider waiting that long to make a "choice" abortion. they are usually down to extreme circumstances and therefore OFTEN a choice between the mother's life or the baby's. surprisingly, many mothers opt to stick around. especially when there is no guarantee the baby will survive either. this is a decision for the individual.
