If the writer had been there to hear the "personal" convo Obama had asking for support, they might hve realized that "drop dead" isn't his style..Apart from that it continues to amuse that the same people who screech about favours abd waivers to the unions have no problem turning around and screeching about the opposite. This article sounds fabricated, sensationalistic and unlikely to be grounded in anything but the cintinued campaign to gut obamacare. IP: Logged |

It should be gutted--considering that not a single Republican voted for it and half of America doesn't want it. The penalty for not complying isn't going to be enforced, so I think those opposed should simply pretend it doesn't exist. It is nothing but a Ponzi scheme anyway. Poetic license and "news" don't go together IMO.I don't hear any complaints about universal healthcare in Israel from you, nor do I see my English family struggling to support their elders nor my invalid MIL going without state of the art care for her parkinson's. But you are entitled to your Opinions and your resistance to change. I guess the stories about how they were going to get free passes were just another attempt by Fox to make it look bad.This story sounds like more such smoke and mirrors. And why should they? A new Washington Post/ABC News poll illustrates this nicely. It finds substantial overlap between public disapproval of the law and self-professed public ignorance about it — which could change as people experience it firsthand.
The poll finds 42 percent of Americans support the law, versus 52 percent who don’t. Confusion is widespread: Only 35 percent say they “have the information” they need to understand the law, while 62 percent say they don’t. Yes, Obamacare faces stiff challenges.
But here’s an interesting wrinkle. The Post polling team tells me that among those who oppose Obamacare, only 30 percent say they understand it, while 69 percent say they don’t. But among those who support Obamacare, 45 percent understand it while 53 percent don’t.IP: Logged |

It's shocking, it's outrageous — and it's completely true. Obamacare outlawed egregious discrimination that was common in our health care system, including insurance companies treating pregnancy and surviving domestic violence as pre-existing conditions, and charging women up to 150% more than men for coverage. ------------------------------

Many many many companies have been exempted from this "tax" by simply requesting it. My guess is that you have to join the Obama A** Kissing Club to be exempt. Here's a list:
