People talk about impeachment as if it's going to happen. As in pass through both houses. Meanwhile the stalling continues in an effort to make people look so bad they will vote for a wholly republican congress next year.

Why delay for a year? because when people decide they like the ACA they will vote these loafers out.

Yeah, sorry. In some ways it's gratifying pointing out the stupidity of some of the mindsets here, but on the other hand...I'm seeing a lot of just repeating the same stuff over again as if that's going to somehow convince us of its merit. If we were to all realize the pointlessness of these discussions, we liberal-types could just sit and watch as they bring themselves down. I suppose there's some enjoyment in keeping them engaged as they look for new talking points to make them feel better about how the Party is imploding...even though such talking points typically rely on imaginary beliefs.

Banks...like Goldman Sach, J.P. Morgan Chase or any other banks DO NOT borrow money from the federal government. Banks lend money to the federal government.

The Federal Reserve is not a federal government entity. It's a private Corporation.

Banks borrow money from the FED at greatly reduced rates through the FED Discount Window.

Banks also borrow money overnight "through" the FED but from other Federal Reserve Banks.

Lying Lizzy Warren probably doesn't know any of that nor would she care. But that 0.75% rate she wants for student loans is a very short term bank rate.

So, in addition to being a liar, a mental incompetent on the order of Nancy Pee-Lousy, Al Franken and Babs Boxer, Lying Lizzy is also a loony-tunes nut case. Long term 0.75% money is not to be had anywhere. That's below the cost of loan writing, processing, account maintenance, billing and payment processing.

On the other hand, Federal Reserve Notes are not real money anyway. They're pieces of paper with different numbers printed on them. All federal reserve notes cost exactly the same to print..from $1 to $1000 dollar notes. Notice, I said "notes", as in promisory notes, as in a promise to pay to the holder.

Many programs with support are available, and for those without access to comps, or have dial up, you can chat on line at your local library. Or call phone numbers readily available for help. I am in a great position regarding this, my employer offers coverage for FTE's but their rates could be far better.

Through exploration, I have found better options. I use off hours for this. I Do not expect to have my questions answered during high traffic times. While much of this, including those with special needs, and tax credits, will not fully be in place until Nov -I still have a few months to research for the best plan thoroughly. These rates will go down [my opinion] as more people get into the
system.

I do not use medical professionals. I do not go to the doctor. I am however, sole caregiver for my elderly mother. For me to risk catastrophic bills incurred through illness, or accident, would be remiss to the point of nonsensical. Therefore, though I would probably go for years without paying for health insurance, I am very glad that the ACA exists.

I wanted single payer, I wanted plans more along the lines of Canada, or at the very least Europe. I do not think that the ACA is a precursor for those...we have not evolved to that point as a country. I don't expect miracles.

Type your state, and medical exchanges. I will not post links, you can find these very easily yourselves.

Educate yourself, shop around. There is allot of info out there-- other than the fed website I posted earlier. Check out what your state has to offer, and any assistance, credits, et all that they might provide.

It is all out there.
