I am a giver, totally. But, I also envision myself being happiest with a giver, too...A little take here and there, is also good for all people. Who doesn't like to be treated well? IP: Logged |

50/50. But I can be an extremist on both ends and be overly giving and extravagant, leading to hurt feelings and feeling unappreciated when it's not reciprocated, and I also struggle with a sense of entitlement at times.IP: Logged |

I need to learn to be 50/50. And yeah, two unselfish givers together giving 100 percent is actually a perfect 50/50. ------------------ "A heart of gold cannot be borrowed, bought, or sold." IP: Logged |

Two takers would be a catastrophe (we see it in Hollywood romances all the time).------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

I have been thinking about this subject for a while. I feel guilty having needs like I should be taking care of every else. This is not a workable situation . In the end , you resent it and are a jerk ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing ,Bruh. IP: Logged |

If a man tells me his needs, I feel safer. It means I will not have to take care of his needs cuz he can. Please, don't get the idea that I KNOW how to do a healthy relationship cuz I don't ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing ,Bruh. IP: Logged |

The question that comes to my mind also here. Is when you give do you want something back? Isn't that where fights between couples can be about. I did that for you and now I get this or i get nothing etc.
