I am a giver, totally. But, I also envision myself being happiest with a giver, too...A little take here and there, is also good for all people. Who doesn't like to be treated well? IP: Logged |

50/50. But I can be an extremist on both ends and be overly giving and extravagant, leading to hurt feelings and feeling unappreciated when it's not reciprocated, and I also struggle with a sense of entitlement at times.IP: Logged |

I need to learn to be 50/50. And yeah, two unselfish givers together giving 100 percent is actually a perfect 50/50. ------------------

I have been thinking about this subject for a while.

If a man tells me his needs, I feel safer. It means I will not have to take care of his needs cuz he can.

I think that having needs and saying them may be a sign that you are emotionally healthy.
I am just starting to feel I know and can say needs.

The question that comes to my mind also here. Is when you give do you want something back?
Isn't that where fights between couples can be about. I did that for you and now I get this or i get nothing etc.
