despite what anyone says i doubt if there is such a thing as a 100% giver OR taker. everyone does both at times. i personally am a gikerIP: Logged |

I'm a giver/nurturer with a giver.(for the most part)I blame his Venus in Pisces.
Depending on the conversation's .....bent, shall we say- sometimes sharing's the only way for 'happiness' between two givers- because it's so great to give....

I'm a giver and a taker.
I try to keep it as equal/balanced as possible.
I feel bad if I feel that I'm taking too much or the only one taking and if I'm the only one giving all the time then I start to feel resentment.
When it comes to love,relationships,sex etc. there should only be,as much as possible anyway, good feelings towards one another..... that's my belief. ------------------

Actually, a true giver receives joy in giving, so wouldn't that make such a person also a taker? ------------------

I'm a giver and a taker.
Giving material gifts is part of my creativity. So i've to be careful what de reciever will make of my gift emtionally.
And i think giving is not easy when it is immaterial and asks sacryfices of you.
Sometimes you simply can't give what someone asks. Very scary in realtionships this one.
And another thing i've learned for me. Is to ask my self about my motives? Why do you give, do you want something back?
I once was asked in a job interview a really good question. Why do you want it? Ever since i ask my self this question.
Keep it pure. Why do want to ware those shoes? To make a good impression? Does the shoes fit you, is it really you?

I'm a huge taker. The only time I go out of my way to give stuff is when I'm giving it to myself! It's because I don't expect anything from anyone, and I want the same from other people.  If I want something, I'll ask for it. If you want something, then ask.IP: Logged |
