I yearned for romance... too.

I was always the letter writer, the poetry writer, the giver of gifts and surprises, the sudden unexpected showerer of love... well I did those things because I know that is what I would want & Love!
I don't want to say my husband forgets to be romantic LOL, he's not into writing... but he shows it in special affectionate, sharing his energy with me... so it's something new and I really enjoy the goosebumps that go along with it.

Randall, SOVG, that is beautiful!

scorpio tail LOLOLOL..

Damn.. being a Virgo I don't have any cute lil comments like that <stomps off>

My a$$ of an ex actually used to be somewhat of a romantic. He used to deliver roses to my work for no reason. I remember on my 30th birthday he had a HUGE bundle of both metallic and no metallic balloons delivered to my work. Kind of funny because they almost didn't fit down the hallway. I kept hearing pop...pop...pop.. as they were coming down the hallway lol. They took up a good part of the office I was in too.

But whenever I tried doing something like buying him a rose or writing him poetry, I got the feeling that it made him uncomfortable, so I stopped. When I tried asking him about it he never gave me a real direct response...men are wierd

Yes! When my Scorpio and I had heed dating for 3 months, i knew he was the one. I knew he had been looking for antique ukuleles on eBay religiously every day so I put up an ad on eBay for the brand and year he was looking for. Instead of actually selling a ukulele, it was a proclamation of my love for him and dozens of the reasons why.

He was stunned.

I also sent HIM flowers which he said no one had ever done for him before.

i can be romantic.
so can my honey.
three years later and he still brings me fresh cut flowers all the time and candles and little things like rocks, or just weird random sweet stuff. or ask me if i want special coffee.

he is probobly more romantic than me, but i do all vacation planning and that is how i romance him, i take him away. and i try to do it fairly often for special couple time.

he does little things all the time, i do grand gestures, every so often. it works for us. it keeps our love alive, so yeah i do think its important. i do tell him how handsome he is alot.

I hand-write letters and hide them in not so hidden places. Sometimes I will write a note or a poem and leave it in my girlfriend's jacket pocket for her to find sometime later in the future. One time I did a treasure hunt, with clues all over the place--one clue led to another and another until it ended with a gift. But to top it off, I invented Valentine's Day Week. It's like a baker's dozen (an extra day for a total of 8 days), with the last day ending on February 14, and each day I do something special.

I had a sweet couple that owned a ukulele shop email me personally after he saw the ad and offer us matching ukuleles because they were so touched by the ebay ad. We never took them up on the offer but it was SO SWEET!

Sunday, I came home from picking up my son and my Scorpio had lit every candle in the house in every single room. The only other lights on were on the Christmas Tree and he had a glass of wine waiting for me. I have to say - that was pretty damned romantic even though he knew we wouldn't get to be 'alone'.

Ahhhhh! L'amour! So intoxicating.

SWEET sweet story about the ukelele Moonwitch. A true romantic you are.

I love candles. I would have melted into a puddle if I came home to that.

I Scorpios!

I just had an conversation with my virgo collegue.
She said she find it romantic to sleep under one guilt together.
I don't see that as romantic. I need space and curl the quilt totally around me. The other person is lying
without anything. So i rather have two pieces of quilt.
What's your opinion on this? One quilt together or not?
A king size bed is also nice and certainly not one with water in it

LOL Scorpio! I could NEVER have two separate blankets. I would feel so rejected if my lover didn't want to sleep under the same covers as me.

I have been accused of stealing the covers but they just have to deal with it.

Just say no to separate blankets. How can you feel the warmth of their body or touch their skin?

If i want to feel the warmth of their body, someone is just really close. so I can roll over and come closer. Buth when it's sleeping time I need to lie free so I can breath openly. Funny i don't feel any coldness by the idea of two separate blankets. oké, holding a hand or arm i can handle while sleeping.

No, I am not. Hopefully, there will be a point in my life where I feel compelled to be. It doesn't sound bad.
