Most of my bestest friends are men.
I find women harder to get along due to: drama, manipulation, lies, games, gossip, superficiality.
Men -once you find their buttons- tend to be easier to get along. I have Mars conj my ASC and it seems it makes me more compatible with the male energy.
Of course there are exceptions and not all men are like that; men who act catty, manipulative, overly immature and avoidant/distant/with issues are definitely not for me.
Also not all women are like I described above either. I painted both camps in broad brushes. I always look at the person, not the gender.

I tend to trust women more which is odd considering my relationship with my mother isn't the best. It isn't that I don't trust men so much as I'm afraid of them, what they'll think, what they don't think - even though my relationship with my dad is good. I like to have more guy friends than girls, but they seem slower to fall into a rapport with than women.

I also notice girls who tend to have a lot guy friends don't get along with girls as much. My own theory is that girls in general are threatened by a girl who understands men on that level, because so many girls are taught to view them a certain way and behave accordingly.

Interesting observation. I bet you're right.

And I find it's usually harder to build up a rapport with men as well. OTOH I tend to give them more of a break while getting to know them than I do women because I expect them to have pretty poor social skills anyway.
