Ah, okay - this thread is more in line with what I posted in the BDSM thread:The man I'm with now has Sun-Mars conjuct his AC and I have Sun-Venus conjunct the DC. He has actually said "You're submissive, I like that..." We aren't into BDSM but our roles are clearly defined... He has Sun conjunct Mars in Capricorn and I have Sun conjunct Venus in Leo. Our composite has Venus opp Mars from 8th to 2nd and Eros conjunct Psyche exact in the 12 so who knows what will happen down the road sexually... Going back to the OP: Some books on astrological sexuality portray Leo women as these tough, woman-on-top sexual position loving dominatrixes (-trices?) but that is just easy writing, in my opinion. They just take the Sun rulership and the pride and the self-advocacy and just run with it, as if it extends to every area of life. That is just not the case, there is more to us than that. Recently I have read some really smart and insightful books where it is acknowledged that although Leo is a masculine sign we are still women and we love to be treated like it. Especially since, because we can be quite domineering in other areas of life, we can sometimes question our feminity. So, a man really has to "man up" for us to be into it. So we are the lionesses at work, and with family and friends, but real kittens with the men in our lives. That is the way I prefer it anyway. I was with a guy (Taurus) who had Venus in Aries and Mars in Cancer, plus Venus square Saturn. Blech. Those were the most awful sexual experiences of my life. No take charge, no throwdown, he wanted me to do everything. It was a disaster. Men with Leo Mars conjunct my Venus, I have had great sex with them but the relationships were awful. The best relationships AND sex I have had have been with two Capricorns - my first real boyfriend and my current boyfriend (hopefully my first and my last - they are born two days apart funny enough) - both with Sun conjunct Mars in Capricorn and Venus in Scorpio.
