I am not the type to approach guys and I blamed it to the very nature of Venus Virgo.

She broach the M words? Haha cute. Nice. Sweet love story.

It wasn't even that way. "How do you feel about marriage and children?" "yeah it's important." "OK.. then we should get married." "OK, sure."

That's what happens when two overly rational people talk about matters.

But I still don't like SG the country and the culture.

Hi YRA, what don't you like about the country and culture of SG whatever that country is? For a native I would expect more acceptance and a less violent allergy to ones own homeland

It's a long story and it is serious stuff that I won't get into here.

It was bad enough that my parents and I had a parting of ways. Even my brother and I don't speak much anymore because of this.

That sounds bad. No wonder you no longer like SG
Have you checked astro cartography? Perhaps your sun squares or opposes the lines conducive for your happiness there. That said you must prolly have some 4th house afflictions towards the 9th

Sorry I don't understand anything you said

But I will ask around.

I had a miserable childhood that I would very much like erased from my memory.

Btw you don't look like you have had a miserable childhood. You have a kind of openness that shows a happy childhood. You must have worked them out.

Astrocartography is a branch of location astrology to see if your energies suit a place.

It was the exact same with me and my husband. Makes me wonder if that's just common for Capricorns and Leos.

You know what?

In a standoffish point of view, now I don't believe Plain Jane character or attitude is the problem.

The problem lies with how much time and attention the other person is willing to put into to understand Plain Jane. The allocation of his effort.

But if he's just not interested, prolly it doesn't matter whether it is Plain Jane or Pretty Jane.

I am 27 now, which I realize is still young. But as I have become older, significantly in the past couple years due to certain events, I am no longer under the beauty spell that our culture casts.

It is actually quite relieving and quite liberating to simply not care. If you free yourself from really caring about external appearances, yes it sounds like a giant cliche, but it really is in your mindset. I am not condoning letting yourself go and not taking care of yourself, but not looking so much for a physical "ideal" other in your eyes, whatever that may be. This does not exist.

I think the world would benefit a ton if people could look deeper with others they interact with because, your true character emerges anyways (no matter how you look). Also, you get what you give so remember to live (courtesy of a Magic Hat cap).

I consider myself a plain Jane only because I don't really do much to enhance myself in the looks department. I''m a jeans and t shirt kind of girl who doesn't wear make up, doesn't style my hair, etc. Don't get me wrong, when the occasion calls for it I clean up extremely well. The only time I really do anything is when I want to do something for myself like get an all natural face mask or do an all natural deep hair conditioning, it's kind of like treating myself to a mini spa event and it's relaxing.

I have the "accept me for who I am and not what I look like" thing going on. I don't need make up because I feel I'm naturally pretty enough, modestly so. I have a quirky and unique personality and intelligence that I'd rather be appreciated for as opposed to some fake mask of beauty products, skirts and heels.

Beauty is only skin deep. It's the personality and what's on the inside that counts.

Sorry. I need my women to at least be moderately fit. A number if women I dated were insanely fit. Like I said, my wife in her mid-40s just did a shorten triathlon with me at a competitive time against 18 year olds.

I'm not trying to be nasty but I'll speak my mind. No need to choke down salads, because I'll eat salads only to a certain extent and I like my meat. But we ain't hitting KFC and Popeye's four times a week.

This this obviously depend on race and culture.

Aren't you Asian? They prefer slimmer women and often lighter hair/lighter eyes is exotic to them

How you hold your weight depends on your race, Asians and Whites have less muscular mass in general (and the bone structure is different) and no offense.. White women tend to look horrible around 140-150 pounds usually, usually because their fat goes to their waist and all in their belly, my fat goes in my breast and in my hips. I still get a attention from a lot of men so I guess it does not matter. I really don't believe it when you say a girl MUST be slim.. most guys don't give a crap as long as she carries her weight good to be honest.

A woman is supposed to carry more body fat.

Again, its cultural/race thing, most of the guys who give me attention are usually Hispanic and White (mostly European).

Let's please get off the racial stereotypes.

Yes, I'm Asian and I married a White woman. She happens to be under 110 lbs., but that is inconsequential.

I dated every single major race in the world, so there goes the theory about "exoticness".

I'm not saying women *must* be slim. Where did I say that? I said I prefer slim women.

I'm not "most guys" and "most guys" aren't me, and I really don't give two flyings... about what "most guys" like.

racial stereotypes? What about that? I'm going from what I observed and what other said.

Again, when I said she must be slim I met its what you preferred. I know I don't word things very well.

When you said that I thought you said most men preferred women slimmer than them (50 pounds or so)

Then I simply replied saying.. most dont care..

Are you misinterpreting my words again?

And I said, good for them that they don't care. And I don't care what they care or don't care about. That's what I said.

I prefer women slimmer than I am. That's all I said.

I didn't say every woman walking down the street needs to be slim. Nor did I say any woman needs to give a sh1t about what I like or don't like.

That's all. Not trying to be confrontational. I just speak my mind.

And words are words. The English language is extremely precise, and while there may be subtle nuances, it is incumbent on all of us to articulate and enunciate properly.

Welp. Sounds like you're taking it in the wrong way. I was speaking completely in general and not towards you.

But it depends on the person writing/speaking it , doesn't it?

Well our minds seem to work MUCH differently here. I'm done.

You're thinking too practically on my impractical words/meaning so its not fitting what I *meant* at all.
