Not going to quote all your posts,
but wanted to say I pretty much agree with your views from what I have seen so far. 
You voiced some of the same reasons why I no longer feel free to reply to the majority of threads in almost any forum these days.
There are indeed folks who hate anyone who does not agree with them.
Oh they often refuse to call it hate,
but often actions speak louder than their denial and or justification of the emotion of hate.
I think you have most likely observed the same here and there, online and in real life/offline.
I am not seeing or feeling the "love" but rarely here these days. Especially GU which I generally avoid with rare exception.
On that note I have had my say.

Jut because folks disagree with you Ami does not mean they want to fight with you.

This is why I rarely go near you because no matter what I say, you usually do not like it, and assume fights in progress.

I have not been right with my hate. Padre showed me that. I will pray for the people I hate because God tells us to do that and I want to be in His will.
I have been really wrong and I turn myself around, today.------------------

Praying for the person you hate is a step in the direction, but that requires judging them, and seeing yourself as more righteous...to me this is vanityWhat seems effective to me is to pray for my own understanding to change. If you are hating a person it is because you can't see their human weaknesses or are judging them. If you "cast the burden" on god, Jesus, the universe/force (whatever one calls it) it will usually be resolved. I have a little prayer that works very well... If this person is not going away, please help me see them differently! Cause I can't keep on like this! What you wish for others returns to you multiplied, though...reason enough not to hate...and I guess praying for them would also really be praying for yourself, though in a judgmental way. No matter how evil, every person, creature, thing and event, may have a beautiful purpose that can only be achieved by their being exactly that way... IP: Logged |

Funny this thread was bumped because I was going to come back to it.
The Bible is clear on vengeance is mine, says the Lord.
God knows that we want to take things into our own hands. He knows the weakness of the human being.
He does not allow us the "luxury" of hate as He knows it is not good for us and hurts us.
HE, not us, will make all things right in the end ------------------

"fixing" other people's posts is a violation of boundaries, Ami. You have "fixed" other posts of mine while pretending to quote me and i consider that abuse of mod power. Just for the record! Whether your intent is benebolent or malicious it is still abuse. Mothers are particularly.prone to this "transgression", usually with the best intentions but not the best results...Like a lot.of people i make typos when on my phone. However, I assumed it was you because you have rewritten "copies" of my posts in the past and it is not "poison" to request you refrain from doing so in future.
