I've always been attracted to people who look slightly older than me since I was really attracted people in their mid 20's since they look so put together and sophisticated and do not spell like Love Spell lol.

Nope. Realistically speaking, there will be TONS of compatibility issues. Different goals, different aspirations in life, different social outlooks, etc.

But even if we eliminate all of that, I don't know... It just doesn't seems right to me. Maybe it is social conditioning in this case and yes that would make me a total hypocrite for saying this but... It just seems... Wrong . I would feel as if I am old enough to be her uncle or something Lol!

I dated a guy for over 4 years who was just a year younger and it felt like light years.

Age is age at the end of the day. It's entirely up to the person to act or be however way they wish.

Well I hope one day you don't meet someone over 8 years younger than you and don't eat your own words.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Even if I saw a couple with a more noticeable age gap I would never pass any judgements. They're obviously together for a reason. If they're happy then I'm happy for them. People and their judgements is what's ruining the world.

I wouldn't even date an 18 year old because the fact I had to buy them alcohol was not attractive to me

I VERY often, almost always guessed at being 8-10 years younger than I am. Even my personality suggests so. (in person)

I have a friend who's wife is 13 years older than him. They have been married for quite a few years. (edit: they met at 19 and 32 years of age)
A friends parents are 20+ years apart.
One sister has had a relationship with a guy 20ish years older. Now with a guy a few years younger. They've been together for maybe 12ish years. But they are not 8 years apart.

I had the opportunity to get married to someone I was in love with but I never went along with it because getting spontaneously married is not who I am.
People will judge you but who cares it's your life and you shouldn't let that make you feel bad.
