I don't agree. Society would not be better off that way. We all need both positive and negative feedback to our actions. You yourself judge people all the time. In fact you just judged people who judge people. What does that tell you about the prevalence of hypocrisy? IP: Logged |

If by this thread you mean to tell people to be less judgmental then that is another matter. You are welcome to do it. But it is still quite obvious that you established it because you are judging others - and quite harshly so.IP: Logged |

I'm not judging anyone nor did I judge anyone. I'm asking honest questions and proving valid points. I'm very protective of DeepFreeze and can't help protecting what's mine. This thread is about hypocritical people not judgemental people. IP: Logged |

And you don't think Ami would be protective about herself? It's not easy to take criticism. Hypocrisy is all about judging people for what you can't see in yourself. You are asking people to be less judgmental. But I think you judge people too. And for what it's worth I think DeepFreeze can hold his own. I wouldn't worry about him so much. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by Barbiegirl19: I agree a lot with what everyone said here and sometime later will respond more intently, if it's not closed. But I have to say that the reason I started this thread is because for me it seems like a lot of women that I've seen here and known in real life were extremely hypocritical and Ami Anne's actions on the other thread kind of tossed this into gear. Hypocrisy is on thing that I just don't understand fully. Why's it even exist? Why can't people just shut their mouths of any judgements or false statements. Why's it so easy to lie? I know all of those answers just curious in the logical sense that's all. I apologize if I started another war here. That wasn't my intention. I was very curious at the time. That's all for now I'll comment more later.
It's humanity, Barbie, and the forces that drive it. Emotions, a lot of the time. Emotions can cause people to appear hypocritical and drive them to say or type what they do. This is why you see judgments and hypocrisy. There's often feeling behind judgments. For Libras it can be difficult because they are often very rational. With Scorpio Venus, there's a bit more emotion so you might have had moments you said something then you felt like your should't have later. Water signs tend to be the least objective. Air signs, the most. Libras will try to think through their emotions whenever possible and take the rational approach. This is what is meant by Saturn being exalted in Libra. Saturn is about order and structure so what Libras do is try to take something that appears chaotic and sorta scary and they create a construct of some sort for it. They create structure and order out of chaos and disorder so civilization can exist. Without this construct, it wouldn't be possible. The first step is to create the structure. The constitution, for example, is a Libran document because it gives a civilization the basic framework needed to function at a higher level, ideally.

She is VERY VERY protective of me, not just from others, but from myself. (I'm always getting cuts and bruises)I like it though. It's kind of cute and funny. LOL With hypocrisy, well let me see here, this may be Barbiegirl19's view also, likely is, but it's mine. I really get what everyone is saying. It's natural. I know that sometimes I'm a hypocrite but I don't always realize it and when I do, it really upsets me. Then there seems to be people who do it just to win an argument. That's really annoying. I always tell Barbiegirl19, if I promise something and then I'm failing to do it, she only needs to calmly remind me of my promise and it's done. I think breaking promises falls in the same line of fire, no? Well, I'm not the greatest at communicating. You'd think so with Mercury in Virgo but in the 12th square moon... nah. Not so much. I think the point to draw a line is not hypocrisy in general, but when it's habitual or malicious. That's really all that I meant to say. Like people point out.. I'm a bit "verbose". I can't help it! Makes sense. I don't really disagree with Barbie much either but I love debating (/discussing), and am a bit argumentative. So if I find an angle that I disagree with I will debate my point .
I think you make a good point about malicious intent though. Perhaps we're not really discussing the same things. IP: Logged |

Not sure what would do it...The Aqua sun perhaps? Or cappy mercury? I love all challenges really. And debating is that. My moon is cancerous IP: Logged |

It is the Aqua Sun. I would have guessed this but I thought you had a Cappy Sun. My mother is like this with the Aqua Sun.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Yeah, I have lots of cappy planets but the sun is decidedly aqua-licious. IP: Logged |

I've noticed Aqua suns can embody a few Virgo traits. Their traits tend to overlap a bit. IP: Logged |
