Sometimes I wonder...

PS Your screen name is still messing with my head, and I can't fully believe you are a Gemini. Just so you know, in my mind, when I see you, I think, "Aw, violet! Such a sweet Cancer!" <3

Yes, I'm sure if somebody wanted to they could figure out which one lol but I guess we should be aware that is what we are openly exposing here. The other thing is you can still mostly control your interactions and circle in real life but the reality is the internet is a much bigger place and what is exposed here is not entirely in your control. You cannot confront someone in it's interspace either. I always keep that in mind. Still, its a wonderful community to make new friends.

lol Faith aww, I don't mind as I do have some cancer going on but I guess with time you will start remembering(hopefully haha) . I guess you cant help which ebergy is rubbing off on you more . Its all the hearts I post isn't it ?

PJ,

My attitude dovetails with your in many respects..though I can't say in my case there has been much clear thinking about it...just my habitual distrust of the surveillance state and online pedos having access to my children's info and whereabouts (which is partly why I'm not on FB and don't have a blog.)

But your post is inspiring me to actually try and think this out.

Right, why should I care if someone is talking about me, if everyone is anonymous? Except for the fact that all roads lead to Rome, figuratively speaking, and Rome is in Utah:

For example, if someone from my hometown were to google their town they could easily find posts I made IF I were to name it and they'd EASILY figure out who I was and my family with gossip spreading fast.

I see. Well I suppose there are calculated risks you could take, telling people who have no affiliation whatsoever with your hometown...but maybe it would just feel like the cat's been let out of the bag and it would unnerve you. Which is how I would feel...just, uneasy.

Definitely. In a strange way it makes me happy to know they haven't been targeted. At least, for now, the NSA has better things to do than troll LL looking for crimes to investigate. (Because obviously if anyone took notice of your posts and wanted to crack down, they could have your info with a snap of the fingers.)

Same...people are funny that way.

Actually for years, I kept my astrology interest secret from my redneck/Christian friends (I say "redneck" affectionately and consider myself a part-time redneck), then I guess it was last year I finally "came out" to my one friend (ironically I think she was born the same day as Randall.)

Last week we were hanging out with several other friends and our children, and my friend said to me across the room, "I spent like an hour last night trying to remember the birthday of my ex-boyfriend, since I knew you would LOVE to know that."

OMG I shouldn't have told her. LOL

Just as I typed that one of said Christian friends called me on the phone and I had to bluff like I wasn't laughing at the timing. See this is my life, living between two worlds. (As they perceive it...I'm not the one who erected the electric fence between "religious" and "occultic" interests.)

Right, and I think I come from a more conservative family and more conservative "era"...again, I think Pluto in Libra is more about withholding info for the sake of harmony than Pluto Scorpio, which is more about hardcore about truth and exposure, ie

Right. I do get creeped out when I think of data collection and my paranoid streak gets active at night...sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up wondering what the h*ll I'm doing saying so much online anyway...but my regular thinking takes it as a calculated risk, as indulging in simple Free Speech (which is what I actually believed I had, growing up...ahhhh, nostalgia!), as an inevitable part of life in modern society, where the internet is connecting everyone whether we participate or not.

As you said, if Big Brother wants to know something about me, he may already be able to extract a lot, just by looking at what's been said about me online by friends, family, old classmates. It's out of my control anyway. So why not say a little more.

You recommended that movie before so I watched it and loved it.

Though...I hate to think of you relating to that girl, as her situation was so tragic. But I see how there are some parallels. Fortunately, unlike her, you do have places where you can open up, if only anonymously. It's therapeutic, as far as I know.

I will just repeat myself keeping it shorter and hoping the post sticks:

@Charmaine

I think you're fortunate to know so many tolerant people and it's admirable how you and Randall handle things here.

@violet

My Psyche conjunct your sun makes me see you in a different light than other Geminis. Not to scare you.

Cheers, people

^^ I love those little rabbit cartoons!

You actually posted one of them a long time ago...someone asked your sun sign and you said Gemini and added one of those rabbits. I thought it was so cute. That's how I remembered (finally) that you are a Gemini...I had a flashback to that post.

I don't know how sun conjunct Psyche is supposed to feel but so far, both with you and mirage, I dunno, it's a very homey feeling I get. Like I could just settle right into your life, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, and feel like I fit in, too.

Not to scare you, I repeat Cuz I won't do it, cuz I don't even know who you are (on topic point: we're anonymous!)

Rome has plenty of more viable, politically feasible, and more compelling targets to go after than me, and even if they just choose someone at random to harass I'm a grain of sand on the beach. The town I speak of is an area that has already raised Confederate flags to show their dissatisfaction with Washington DC and the closest paper has written articles outright saying the Texas and/or South need to secede, and virtually everyone is armed, and unlike the crack houses most people keep their guns in good repair and know how to use them, and I wouldn't be surprised if deputies sided with locals against the feds (btw, that happened at least once in California when the DEA said they were going after hospices allowing medical marijuana to the dying as the feds didn't recognize California's vote and even the mayor was grandstanding giving popular speeches and ordering the police to guard the hospices while DEA helicopters were shown flying overhead, good times). Obama has enough trouble without risking another incident that would probably flare up even hotter than Waco once the dust cleared.

It's the locals I'm worried about. Do the local deputies need some more funding? Well find someone to raid and seize their stuff without a trial! Someone want to steal my family's farm? Then arrange to have it seized by the law and then buy it at the auction. Someone hold a grudge against my family (as plenty do)? Let's see what we can find to give us an excuse to make trouble for them. Then the deputies can go out there and if I mentioned details then they could point to that as justification.

That is it's the local powers I worry about, not the federal government. Not to say the feds are our friend, just that it's not a concern in this case.

u remembered that (cancer moon turns warm and fuzzy moment)

I've never seen this conjunct before either Faith but I can see what you mean. It is so comfortable to be around you :] I feel as if there are some instinctual similarities. There is something similar about you like with my best friend actually, as if we could stroll around all day doing all sorts of things completely in our zone I'm afraid I do not know Mirage but their birthday must be around mine so that's cool.

Yes, back on topic, we are anonymous but anonymous friends still

@PJ Got it.

@violet

I don't know how to stop talking to you and sending you hearts. I don't know how. So just imagine non-stop s

I've never had a Gemini friend in real life! Well...I had a guy friend but that's not the same. I think we would be great!

Such a shame we aren't neighbors, I would be at your house keeping you up with my Gemini Mars motormouth every night.

PS Your best friend can come, too. We'll all get along, I can psychically feel it. lol

Faith, you don't have to say it, I can psychically feel the love

Would have been great to have been neighbours. (Hi Faith, can I borrow some sugar? )

The interesting bit is, I've never encountered a Mars a Gemini person, well, not that I know of. But clearly, its a hit position with me, well or maybe just our vertex/mars love. And motormouth? just perfect. We could chit chat about everything under the sun +infinty
