That is absolutely true. That's the problem with psychiatrist today, they hand out anti-depressants like it's nothing. Most don't take the time to try and understand what is going on in that person's life. Even. the ones who do ask what's going on still will give you medication and keep prescribing it to their clients no questions asked after that. Anti-depressants alone cannot fix depression, therapy is usually needed but rarely recommend. It's sad really. IP: Logged |

Yep, I agree with you guys. It is very sad the people who are ruined by psych/shrinks etc------------------

I wouldn't take them except in some extreme, unforeseeable situation. Dark chocolate and long walks are my anti-depressant, along with detoxifying with a raw diet for a while. Sam-e is also good. But I know people who swear by anti-depressants and I have no desire to convert them to my approach. IP: Logged |
