I think your moderation is excessive and only serves to antagonize me over an issue that I am genuinely upset about.

Kindness would tell you to simply let me and athene handle it at this point.

Funny.

The whole spiel appeared as if it were a letter TO ME and contained references to things you and *I* have been talking about.

But of course.

You can just...wave your hand...and disown all of that, making me look silly for thinking a letter directed at me was in fact...you know, directed at me.

Ultimately, it is I who will make the final determination as to what constitutes an insult, as I have in the past, and there has been no question those who were banned were offensive. I had lioosened the grip in this Forum, but that was to our detriment. That will now change. No, religion isn't innate, like race or gender, but just because it can be changed is no reason to support condemnation. Relaying your personal experiences with religion is different from insulting an entire faith.

You're not respectful either. You're extremely condescending, it's quite sad you weren't taught manners either.

@athene,

You state your opinions as if they are facts when they aren't. This is one way people are condescending towards each other, by overemphasizing the importance of their own opinions while trivializing others' opinions. Even if you earnestly cannot see that your "facts" are just opinions, and you really think that others are flatly in the wrong, your manner of address could offset the superiority you imply, if you were able to express respect for the person you are talking to.

You are not giving enough indication that you have that respect.

In fact, you make assumptions consistently, and put people on the defensive, and that's disrespectful.

What is the motivation for watching porn?

So it's a fact that watching porn Is from a sexual primal desire and not from your heart.

That's all I have left to say in this matter.

This is exactly my point.

You make assumptions.

I clearly said that I do not watch porn. That I have *no desire whatsoever* to watch porn.

Where do you get the idea that I do?

From the angels?

They're lying then.

You stating as FACT that I watch porn, and treating me like I do, and lecturing me on my chakras as if I did, when I don't, is worse than condescending.

It's RIDICULOUS!

@athene

How does it make you feel to frame me, and make it look as if I just stepped in and gave you a lecture out of the blue?

When you asked for the information?

Do you have any guilt about this? Because it's a very low evolution tactic, to try and make things appear differently than how they were.

It actually makes me wonder if it was a premeditated trap.

Edits rant

I assume everyone saw it...

Without a time stamp on her edit my comment doesn't make sense.

athene, I'm sorry, but that was legit hilarious.
If you don't want people to laugh, don't say things that are blatantly funny.

What the hell? Athene has been insulting her left and right. Faith was defending herself against assumptions made by someone she doesn't trust to have the knowledge she's trying to put across in that post.

Yes but our Creator also gave us minds with which to think, and lessons to learn regarding making choices, and the consequences thereof.
To go off on a tangent, one can clearly see the consequences today of a society that is unnaturally obsessed with sex.

Re "morality is a personal choice"

Yes, BUT one that IMPACTS SOCIETY in the long run. For better or worse.

Moral codes need exist for the health, cohesion & survival of a society.

As an obvious example, society today is in a state of disintegration. This is an undeniable fact.
The cause of this can directly be attributed to the destruction of timeless values by outside forces (eg technology that has been deliberately misused to corrupt society at large)
