I like exams. Two hours, you're done.Essays: it's a nightmare. Lots of research, you keep correcting the text for days, and nerves start creeping in... IP: Logged |

Actually...hmmm... I can't say I mind exams overall...But having four three-hour long exams, scheduled in the space of two weeks (on the basis of a hell of a lot of information in four different law subjects, all of which include legislation and case law (60/70+ cases) that you need to know off by heart) - and that are worth 70/80%+ of your mark - *that* - I am not cool with. ^ Plus, repeating this every semester throughout the 3/4 years you are studying law -or at least in the compulsory phase... So basically every 3 months or so of your life you have 4 law exams.. and repeat - over and over (if you're enrolled full time) IP: Logged |

Meh. I hate how exams are often worth more than 50%. Doing badly in exams is like flushing all of my yearly effort down the drain. Where I study now, students are expected to learn most of the stuff by heart. Professors are sadists who seek every chance to dock marks, and often for dumb, insignificant reasons like "bad" handwriting. The harsh reality when one realizes that a piece of paper is essential for one's chosen career change. Sob. Whew it feels good to get that off my chest. IP: Logged |

I liked exams because I had a reason to focus in a way I never can otherwise and could get into a deep, almost meditative state if that's possible when thinking. Probably would like less if so often though as I appreciated the build up and mental climax :/IP: Logged |

Do you have a strong 9th House, Florence? When I am upset, I like to study things. It is meditative for me. I have a 9th House stellium.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

When upset I find it hard to focus but really it's good for me and a study programme anchors me from getting too emotional. I would love to learn almost every discipline but I think I'd be trying to escape too much. The elusive balance. But this has made me think I should study something again. IP: Logged |

I stand for three hours, and he asks me a lot of questions about the material. In theory, the rest of the class learns from watching the ensuing debacle.IP: Logged |

I was telling my guitar teacher about you and he was so impressed with your law school. He wants to go to law school, too, but he is getting an undergrad degree first, while working full time.
