No one can tell you how it is, because it has to be experienced.

I could say a few more things, but I think it's best for me not to rehash this period of my life in detail.
But I will say that I really do -feel- you Randall. You probably don't realise just how much I *feel* you, mainly when it comes to this. My Cappy Moon goes out to you.

I know this is not easy by any means. It can be really tough, on many levels, and I completely understand what you mean by "culture shock".
To be honest with you, I saw your thread initially about being admitted and I was very excited for you - but I was also worried, because I know the levels of stress and how tough this can be. So initially I didn't post in that thread because I didn't want to accidentally dampen your enthusiasm.

What I want to say though is that - it is worth it!!!

Your life experience, maturity and intelligence are very important assets. Younger people might have more energy to burn, but they do not have your mind or your experience.
You will be ok! It's always harder during the first year. I am very positive that this will go great for you
And you will get the job of your dreams in the end.
If anyone can go through law school, and do it well - it's Capricorn energy.. because we climb surely and steadily and meet our goals. I'm always sending positive energy your way!

Thank you. It's been the hardest thing I've ever attempted.

Today, I ate Chinese, and my fortune cookie said: You would make a good lawyer.

I save all the good fortune cookies. I have a wide collection. My all-time fave is: Hand that touch this fortune shall remain young and strong.

Yeah, they usually say something stupid, and then I feel cheated for having broken into such a dumb fortune cookie.

I know that studying Astrology is NOTHING next to law school but when I have to do something that I think is very hard, I look to people who have done it. I say that if they can do it, I can do it. My grandmother, who was an MD a long time ago, when there were very few women, told me this.

Hope you're doing good on your quizzes. I'm starting my dissertation and it's scary.
But it's also great to share ideas when you have nice colleagues :-))

What is your field, S. I knew you told me. Why don't you do a thread, so we can keep up with your progress!

My field is related to Work/HR
I want to study the cooperation between student organizations and unions in what concerns the right to access education and the job market.
God, just the elaboration of the project is already melting my brain.
But I like it. It means a lot to me.

Good. Things seem overwhelming and many people bail, if they would have only stayed. I have been there so many times in college, when I thought I could never do it and by staying, I managed to lol

Randall, I appear to have forgotten my email, and password somehow. None of my email addresses are registered to this site apparently.

Could you help me out please.

I don't have access to Passwords. I can delete you and let you re-register your Username.

When I ask to reset my password, it asks for the email address linked to this account. Which is apparently none of the email addresses I have, which is a little confusing.

Is there any way you could let me know which email is registered to this account?

Fair enough, it says none of them are registered. That seems pretty odd. Is there anyway you could force a password reset to that email?

So I guess I better not clear cached passwords, or else I will have to make a new account I guess.
