Hello all. I used to frequent this forum back when I was ages 16-20. I'm 31 now. I've just been through the hell that is known as postpartum psychosis. I never had serious mental health problems before. I had a happy pregnancy, I really wanted a baby, I had (have?) a happy, stable relationship. I'm out of the acute phase of psychosis (it was very spiritual in nature which made me wonder if the work on chakras that I did during pregnancy didn't bring it on somehow) and am now in a weird grey zone of serious depression and disconnection from everything. I have no idea how to come back to "me". I just came on here to try and remind myself of my past (I looked at old posts of mine trying to remember who I used to be). I don't really know the point of this post.. just felt like writing on Lindaland again because I remember it as a lovely community.IP: Logged |

Not only 'Welcome back' to LL ... But Welcome BACK to life, from your ordeal {  }, Whiterabbit  . Welcome BACK from the labyrinth back to the regular world...  Don't even think about finding your 'old' self? ... That's past. You have a NEW self. A NEW Start now. Clean slate... You get to choose whatever, based on a new you. What was important for you to KEEP from all this-- is STILL inside of you. You didn't lose it. You're Okay. Know that. You're a New Self. When things clear up even further for you, you will be able to inspire others through what you went through. Kudos! Hugs, and Heaps of Victory-Credits-- whether or not you feel like 'celebrating'.
