It's not even about that, though. It's the fact that most women today have those kind of insane deal breakers. The women who love trucks would reject me for some other equally silly reason.

I wonder if women would be so insanely picky if a major war wiped out half of the men or the economy completely collapsed and shattered women's delusional belief that they "don't need no man." I suspect women would adjust their attitudes real quick.

let's be real here plenty of guys can't do all of those things at all or properly, and some women can (most people outsource to have things built and fixed, that's why that's a career for others, and anyone can protect themselves with a gun also self defense can just be a matter of knowing where to hit)

yeah a woman making anything about a car is an idiot, but that's not most women

dating sites in general are honestly terrible, if i judged other humans on the majority of people on dating sites i'd assume most guys were kind of creepy

i've had plenty who wanted to keep me in their house 24/7 to **** me and insisted they were in love after a couple of conversations all the while offering me drugs and money etc, and i mean immediately like that not like some over time dating housewife sort of deal but just "come live with me and be a sex slave i'll give you everything"

i had a guy in the past couple days who told me i could live with him "relatively safely" other than him wanting to "rape" me daily (though i didn't meet him on a dating site tbf, he's just no different from ones ive met on those) told me it's ok if i cried or didn't want to all the time that it'd just turn him on, but he'd "be gentle"

he's one of countless men who have said that sort of thing to me, is he by any means most guys? no, not at all 🤷‍♀️ but plenty of guys like that find me and use dating sites and even not on dating sites they seem to find me

in my experience plenty of guys are genuinely nice and guys like that aren't the majority

women like what you described aren't the majority either, it's just a weird bias and for her to state it in her profile you should've known upfront and expected her to be irrational

if she felt the need to make that a point, something that specific and shallow (and im aware that could have been about the culture surrounding it, but still... no one is a carbon copy of someone else even if they're into something) that's an immediate cue to be like "nah not going to bother with this one" especially if you drive a truck

that was an oversight on your part, you engaged with a shallow idiot who had an immediate bias against you and then were surprised to have her turn out to be a shallow idiot with an immediate bias against you 🤷‍♀️ you could've fairly assumed before that conversation that it wasn't meant to be, just the logical assumption

most people don't have unrealistic standards, but people who are really into dating (both sexes) are usually the type to play games, have stupid standards, and condition each other to hate the opposite gender

you'd be much better off trying to find a woman through a hobby or work school etc than a dating site in probably 95% of cases
