11th house Deja, not entirely sure about the meaning of it...However, one of the things 11th house covers are friends, and that could make sense in interpretation, cause I had a lot of fake friends when I was younger, they were trying to use me, emotionally, and even materially... I dumped them all, kept dumping people who haven't done anything for me, who were just using me...Now I have only one true friend I keep close, she helped me a lot... IP: Logged |

Children are 5th house-I have a book about houses and it says that some of the bleaker aspects of the 4th house is family dysfunction. IP: Logged |

Dejanira on 00 Aries in 3rd house.I guess if anyone "victimized" me, it might have been the kids from the neighbourhood. There were some not so nice experiences with my "peergroup". IP: Logged |

WOW I was not sure this theory applied.Maybe ,it does.Mine is in the 10th conjunct Pluto. Maybe I get abused in society but Pluto makes me stand up. Hmmmm--not sure Which I could ask IQ about this?------------------ It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept. Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand. The Velveteen Rabbit IP: Logged |

I think that whereever Dejanira is, that is an area where you are most vulnerable and trusting and maybe not all that smart and looking through the lies others may tell us, and that kind of naivetee and vulnerability could make us an easier target to being taken advantage of.IP: Logged |

Thinking out loud:Nessus represents an area of "extreme hunger" and "selfish want". That "want" may become so strong that only it fulfillment counts, and that any moral thoughts are being pushed aside. Also, it doesn`t even matter what the "object of want" thinks or feels, cause to Nessus whatever or whoever he wants it might be exactly that "an object / tool to satisfy his hunger". If he cannot do this, this wanting may turn to a desire of having bitter revenge. The saying: "If I can`t have you, noone will" comes to mind. And Nessus will not refrain from anything to reach his goal, may it be the posession or destruction (if he can`t have what he wants) of the object of his wanting. Combine this symbol of selfish want (who will strive for his goal by any means, be it lies or fraud or open violence) with the symbol of trusting vulnerability (Dejanira), and you have the ingredients to a possibly very dangerous interconnection, read: possible abusive relationship.
To me Nessus is a bit like a challenging Mars/Pluto aspect on steroids, and Dejanira has some of the implications a challenging aspect of Venus and Neptune has. I just find it important to see what lies behind that possible abuse, the motivation, what each symbol is about. Because naturally each of us has at least a bit of choice. If we KNOW where we are too trusting and vulnerable, we may check this area more thoroughly, install some alarmbells, if someone`s Nessus or Mars or Pluto is heavily bombarding it. The problem I see with this is that often it seems that Nessus/Mars/Pluto in challenging aspects with Dejanira / Venus or even with Eros and Psyche seem to indicate a very strong sexual attraction, which makes it hard to take a step back and view the scenario from a detached perspective, and before one can blink, they are in the middle of some Ancient Greek tragedy like told by Euripides.

My relationship with exact Nessus/deja DW--all 4 ways --was more intense than Pluto. However,we had Moon/pluto and Venus/pluto DW's too so it is hard to tell. However, I think you can feel EACH energy as distinct. Do you guys agree? Nessus is a distinct energy with a distinct feel to it. ------------------ It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept. Ami,thank you. And wow, this relationship scenario sounds most intense. I agree, each energy has a distinct feel to it. At least I think so theoretically. I am not having any examples in mind at the moment though. IP: Logged |

Maybe Nessus is more "sudden2?In the myth Nessus saw Dejanira and almost the next moment tried to rape her. There was not much thinking process involved. He saw, desired and acted. In the case of the abduction of Persephone it took a bit more time, depending on the variation of the myth. Actually it seems that Pluto had made an agreement with Jupiter to make Persephone his wife before abducting her! And both failed to inform the mother, Ceres. Also, Pluto / Persephone is a story about transformation, and Pluto actually MARRIES her and makes her queen to rule the underworld together with him. It is also said that he fell in lust AND love with her (though his means to get her are still very very questionable). For Nessus it seems to be just about the satisfying of HIS needs and cravings, without caring a little bit for the other person. And maybe it is more a momentary thing, a sudden release of energy, instead of the longer lasting transformational process in Pluto`s realm? IP: Logged |

I think I have deja conjunct Juno in the 7th.In a way, I have. Also, 7th = open enemies? I've been in the victim role versus bullies, although I did my best to not be a victim. I've been wary of men, marriage and relationships for many years, so that might be a factor. IP: Logged |

Teasel, Ami,maybe Dejanira conjunct Juno could also mean that one becomes very vulnerable, when becoming a wife, what do you think?

Yes,good call. I wonder if Deja takes Juno's "good qualities such as loyalty and steadfastness" and allows people to abuse you cuz you are too good?

Ceri To explain Nessus by feel If you have ever been abused by a parent, there is a part of you that is tuned wrong if you want to use a musical analogy. What should be C sharp is B flat. You are not right. You resonate to things that are from your abuse. When this happens, your abuse can call you .Another person can call that note or that song and it is home to you. You never had a home so it becomes so precious. All you hear is "Home,Home, Home" The words are so sweet.IP: Logged |

Moon/Pluto is the nursing baby. You love with a fierceness, a protectiveness, a tenderness. You want to take care of that person, make sure that person is OK, stop anyone who would hurt him. Moon/Pluto trumps all aspects for love and connection==bar none. Moon/Pluto is the love that you call his name on your death bed. It is beyond Venus /Pluto which is strong or even Nessus. It is the most primal love aspect in all of Astrology imo/IP: Logged |
